Thanks for taking this over Duran. You rock. Da "the totally useless member of CC" H

I like these. Da "I'm glad you have tons of time on your hands" H PS - Now, with all these "extras" we have going around...we really need that website!

Attention everyone: I will be opening the show with a promo. I'm pretty sure everyone already knows the contents...but, I'm gonna do it anyway. Da "will read FtF later" H

Coyjiro, you probably weren't really around when Thugg was just plain evil...turning on everyone...never caring...just being big and kicking everyone's ass and manipulating bullying people (even his friends) with his size. That's how I see the monster heel. Also, I tend to agree with King's picks more than yours because it seems we're talking about the "first" of the fed. The "best"...that's arguable because different generations are going to think people in their generation is the best...but "first"...King's got it going all the way. Be that as it may... The Puro Guy has to go to Danny....duh. He could also slide in there nicely under ring technician. The Lucha Monkey has to be ELM. Although, he could go with Dominant Cruiserweight...but I'd give that to Wildchild. He wasn't nearly as kooky as ELM, so he wouldn't get the monkey label, but he's just as dominant. Perhaps, though, it might be a tie between Wildchild and Fallout for the Dominant Cruiserweight label. I didn't like Fallout's style much, but he did totally dominate the Cruiserweight division...and when ELM wasn't after the world title, they had some great battles as the kooky luchadore vs. the serious dominant cruiserweight. Kibs, obviously, gets the no-selling bastard title. He no sold more than me and JD put together. Straight up sick, evil guy who you just don't understand is Spider Nekura...it just makes sense. A new category...we'll just call it "The Rock Guy"...you know...the guy that whenever he stepped into an arena, demanded the fans largest pop...but was hardly ever there. He shows up for short periods and then goes away, only to return to another huge pop. And this person is Xstasy...easy. The JTTS...who is this guy? You know...the guy that keeps ending up on the short end of the "big matches". The Benoits and Jerichos of the SWF? Hmmmm...Thoth, perhaps? Maybe Fallout? Xstasy again? I dunno...who is the original guy that just can't win the big one? Da "truly misses his battles with Axis" H

One and Only Smackdown Thread For Today
HVilleThugg replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
Was it just me, or did Show just deliver a halfway decent promo? Perhaps all his facts aren't correct, but he was coherent for a change...and made sense. Wow...that's like the best promo he's every delivered. -
Fuck! GoldenEye! I remember that now! What stable were you in? I know it was either EoD or ADD. Da "remembers when Jake joined up with the Alliance...ahh, good times" H
-
He was like Iceman or one of those guys...I don't remember his name, but I remember him being in the JL when I got there...I wanna say he was a member of End Of Days or something like that. Da "blah" H
-
That actually looks about accurate Z, with only one exception. Thoth would be 3rd generation, as he came after many of the people you have listed in Gen 3. He was bumped with Sarah... Da "thinks he is a tweener between Gen 2 and Gen 3...wasn't part of the big bump of King/Edwin/ELM/X...but after the bump of Sarah/Thoth" H PS - I kind of snuck in as the only bumpee on that PPV.

Smarkdown Losing matches
HVilleThugg replied to Mr. S£im Citrus's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Fuck man... I understand the situation you are in man...and it blows. Despite lacking originality...I want to reiterate Z's sentiments. On my very short list of people who I truly think are amazing...you are definitely up on it. Hopefully you stick around here, despite not writing. CC could always use more markers, AND...there is the little matter of the HOLT report...my single favorite weekly occurance. Anyway...yeah...you rock...that's all I got. Da "please still do the HOLT report" H -
I love my description. This should be an awesome PPV...I can't wait to read it. I am proud to go out this final time with an awesome angle with Clark and on an awesome PPV card. Now...to spend the next 6 days writing my 13,000 word masterpiece where I take Z's advice and rip Alan's head off. Da "good luck everyone" H

Duran, Yes, static means that it's just text or images that are not maintained by any CMS (content management system) and are not data driven. We need a data driven site with some semblence of a CMS because people like me, Johnny, Mark, Atlas have to update static sites too often...and that means we have to FTP to the server, download the file, edit the HTML, change the images, upload teh finished file...blah, blah, blah. It's too much work. WAY too much work. If we have a CMS in place, people up update it from anywhere and don't have to edit HTML. They can just take the card the wrote for the boards, paste it into a field on the site, and bam...the card is updated on the site. Make sense? I promise you...a data driven site is very necessary...otherwise, the site would get updated for like 2 weeks, and then not again for another 6 months. That's they way it's happened for a long time now, and we're trying to change it so that we can have more of a web presence and actually attract some new people here. Da "damn non-programmers/web developers expecting us to type our fingers raw....DIE" H

Well, the reason everyone is looking for a BS in Computer Science or a related field is because since the Dot Com bust, programmers are a dime a dozen. So many people are getting into the IT field, they want a tangible way to weed out people who they don't think will be able to cut it. Of course, we all know that in IT, a degree is useless and means nothing, but people need something tangible...and just being good isn't tangible. 10 years ago, you didn't need a degree and no one cared, but now since so many people are coming in and murkying up the waters, companies are more selective. It happens in every field...start new and take good people who may or may not have degrees...get flooded...demand degrees. Da "Lesson: get your degree" H PS - They basically mean 5 years of experience as a DB admin or some other similar discipline. It's not hard fast usually...if you only have 3, you'll be fine. Even if you've just been in IT as a programmer for 5 years, they'll usually listen to you.

Meh...that IS a good point, especially you are using commercial servers. I don't user commercial servers, so I have very little experience in knowing what they tend to have or not have and how much they cost. And yeah...the slow connection really doesn't help. I just don't like access...probably because I don't do many "websites"...I build web apps using Flash and CF mostly...and some ASP.NET and all that other crap. So, Access tends to blow for what I do. But man...if you've got Oracle certs...you should be in high demand. It's hard to find DB guys these days...cause no one wants to do one. Personally, I'd love to do that, but alas, I'm stuck with Flash for the time being. But, I tend to think that as soon as you get that last cert, you will be in very high demand...just get your resume out there. Do you have a degree? Da "loves talking computers and programming" H
-
Please...it's flat file storage! You can't do any REAL web app with that...too slow...and too rigid. It's original purpose was to maintain records on a client machine...not for web apps. No real developer would DECIDE to use access as a DB for an app. Da "laughs at Thoth's love for an MS product" H
-
Johnny, Have I ever mentioned that I have ColdFusion MX on all of my machines and my server? However, I'm disappointed to see that you're using Access. Access blows man. You should use postGRE...it's the best open source DB that exists. Anyway...the point is...if you find the server, I can provide you with Cold Fusion MX 6.1. After that, it's up to you. Da "wonders why Johnny didn't ask him to begin with" H

2/16 SWF Smarkdown HOLT Report
HVilleThugg replied to Mr. S£im Citrus's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
You gotta love the fact that I, ye of no match writing, can maintain #2 heat on the Holt Reports. I just find that amusing... Da "always game to chat about himself with you" H -
I'd like it to be known now that I will actually be in New Orleans starting tomorrow through Thursday. So, I guess I'll get a ticket and check out some SWF action. I think everyone should write their matches like they are hung over from Fat Tuesday the day before. Anyway, all kidding aside, since I will be out of town and will not have access to the internet, I will not be around to write anything. If you want to use Thugg...please clear it through Alan Clark (Rando). He has creative control over HVT until I come back so that he can continue to push our angle. Rando, you don't actually have to do anything since we set things up on Storm, but if you want to do something, go ahead. Just make sure it fits within the rules that Stevens set on Storm. Anyway...enjoy your show bitches...I'm off to get laid for 6 days. Da "hung like a bull" H

This thread is still alive? Why? Da "most people reminisce over dinner for about 3 hours...this has gone on for like 4 days...get a life " H

Topic pinned so you won't have to go find it to update it. If nobody updates it, it'll get unpinned though cause we don't want to clutter up the top of the board. Da "putting his modly duties to good use" H

Calm Before The Storm
HVilleThugg replied to The Amazing Rando's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
NOW THAT'S WHAT THE FUCK I'M TALKING ABOUT! Now I'm boosted even more about this angle! Unsolicited promos are awesome...it just adds a certain spice and fun to an already great angle we have (IMHO). However, Clark...you will die...just as soon as I put some pen to paper...errr...some keys to screen...errr...uhhhh...fuck it. ::kills Rando:: There...that's better. Da "must retaliate" H
