I think Hugh Jackman should've gotten a nomination for The Fountain. Ditto for Aronofsky and the movie in general. At least Mansell got nominated for his great score for it. Oh well, go The Departed!

I couldn't find a thread for The Fountain, so I'll post in here. Go see The Fountain. It kicks ass. It is Aronofsky's worst movie, but that's more due to the fact that Pi and Requiem for a Dream were as great as they were. I'd give The Fountain ****1/2, give or take 1/4*

See, for me it was shot all to hell when it was revealed to be a big winged, prehistoric monster. If it were a real person and had some supernatural powers, I would have liked it. That movie just started going downhill for me once they got to the diner. If they'd left out all the supernatural stuff altogether and just made it some batshit crazy trucker guy (like Joy Ride, a little), it would've been a decent movie.

Oh, no way would I ever destroy the game. Those things are expensive, I'd keep that shit. But I'd be the one playing it.

There's an indy promotion here that had a show on public access that was 30 minutes. Of course, it didn't have commercials...

Plus, one well-placed kick will take out a 5 year old instantly. And they've got easily broken bones and wide, hopeful eyes that you can jab your thumbs into easily. Does blinding them or making them unable to walk count as incapacitating?
