I always thought the rave scene in Zion was the Wachowskis' poor attempt to portray the free-wheeling Rastafarians on sattelite 'Zion' in Neuromancer. There, you have people who live on a fucking sattelite, but eschew modern technology. Smoke a lot of herb, live on a sattelite!

Honestly. Do you beat off to Leena? That's, for some reason, gross.

The Akira soundtrack is really good. Some guy brought it in at my last job, making doughnuts. Prince made a "Purple Rain" movie? God, I'm ignorant. And I need to see that movie badly. I still think 'Superfly' is a tad better than 'Purple Rain', though. It's honestly beautiful.

Fox Kids ran Vision of Escaflowne, but apparently completely nuetered it. It's not a particularly bloody or vicious anime, but it's not for kids. Watch the original. Half of the experience is Yoko Kanno's score. She's a fucking genius. She did the music for Cowboy Bebop (Jazz, eclectic, western) Macross Plus (Techno) and Escaflowne (Orchestral.) If I could give you my ICT tapes I would, you'd love that series.

As an addendum, and overview. It's about a total idiot savant who takes over a piece of shit space-cruiser. He's lazy, lecherous, pathetic and brilliant. He's totally naive. Seriously, the climax of the series to William Tell's orchestra is brilliant, totally logical and moving. It's the most optimistic, wonderful thing.

You know WP, I've never seen Gatchaman, but I know how to spell it. Have you seen Vision of Escaflowne yet? It probably fucks every anime show you like in the ass. If you want a space saga, watch Irresponsible Captain Tylor. It, at times, is the funniest thing I've seen. It has the greatest climactic scene I've ever seen. It's a wonderful show. ICT is So up your alley.

And I love the Shield, and think Dames is cool, but, yeah: That post deserved a little mockery. It was Oh GOD THE ROOMS SPINNING level of overreaction. And Arrested Development got cancelled. I mean, I really liked the show but serio-OH GOD THE ROOM'S SPINNING I'M GOING TO THROW UP BLOOD AND BILE AGAIN.

You can believe this show's following is slowly going to grow. It's the best show I've ever seen. Bar-fucking-none. I feel bad, until I realize we got about 18 hours of the funniest show in the universe. That's a lot of funny. And I am glad that, really, they had a chance to do a final, wonderful series finale. It didn't just end like Freaks and Geeks. I think Will Arnett's going to be the next breakout comedy star in America, right after Steve Carrell.

Curtis Mayfield's 'Superfly' Terrible movie, really. Amazing soundtrack. 2nd: Probably John William's 'Superman' score. I think it's his best ever.

Evey debating unmasking V is still a powerful, vital, scene.

It would be a stupid pick, and moreover I'd be really sad to see Bush without a line. If they pick Bush, it's for short term financial gain. I can understrand that. People will pay to see him play. For a season. Am I the only one who really likes David Carr? Probably. I just want to see what he could do if he wasn't setting record sacks.

There's a huge difference between Leena and the erstwhile fanofcoils. Leena is an ostensibly real person who can, yes, be occasionally psycho. She also posts lots of good stuff in the Sports folder, and she's not a troll like foc. Even when she posts in HD, she's not a troll at all. Occasionally mean? Attention wanting? Yes. If people want to cream all over her latest avatar, that's their decision. There's a huge difference between derailing tons of threads, and people falling all over themselves to love/hate Leena in HD.

I love IMAX, but the last time I went was the last Harry Potter movie. It was very good, but I started cramping up at the very end. Long movie.

Moulds to Eagles could work. I'm far more concerned about the stupid Burleson/'Hawks deal, and I LIKE Burleson. I have a friend who raced against that bastard. I suppose it's injury insurance. That's a LOT to spend on injury insurance.

And We'll be able to converse in peace. Evander and Leena aren't fucking close to fanofcoils. Leena can be a bitch, fine. If people didn't cream over her avatars, it wouldn't be an issue. I've only seen her once going off where it was unwaranted. And that was in HD. She knows far more about sports than I do. Evander can be a dick, but he is certainly not a troll. He's opinionated. He tries to back his shit up. And I think he has some unique, good takes on the NFL. If fanofcoil/fishyswa wants to make another dumbass account, ban him again simple. Look at the V thread. People actually want to talk about that movie.

That said, a really good adaptation, IMO.

Yeah, the kiss was pretty corny. As I said, Evey debating unmasking V is SO much more effective, and will probably be in the Director's cut. It's a pretty essential scene they left out.

Rooker is Henry, right? THERE's a guy that should've had more parts. Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer is a fucking terrifying movie. One of the best horror movies ever.

How was Thief? I have very limited cable. (actually cheaper to have with internet) Was it good? It's Monday! I'm retarded. I'm still looking forward to this show.
