NO. it sucks ass. Coming from a huge fan of the original. It's a STUPID movie. The plot's almost decent, but the movie's 75% action scenes, and those action scenes are really, really terrible. And more unrealistic than a John Woo movie, without the exchange of being viscerally thrilling. I can't remember the dialogue as being good at all. Without Kawada or Beat Takeshi, there's no particularly interesting characters. Has anyone read Great Expectations and its clone, Pride & Prejudice? They're both about English people who live with their parents, fall in love, and have to leave their home and stuff. They totally have the same plot. Although I can't really be sure, because sometimes they talked and it was boring. The worst clone is Chicago of Les Miserables. Some people went to prison, and sang a whole bunch, then they got out of prison. Same exact musical.

Give Brits some sun and some Vitamin C to fight off the scurvey, and you have some good looking people. Australia sucks. I saw a bar fight from Australia, and there was no psychology at all. It was like, bottle shot, bottle shot, "Allo, welcome to the Outback Steak'ouse," chair shot. Absolutely no psychology.

Because it didn't have 'psychology' in the fight scene. Like that even applies.

I dunno if Corino's overrated. He's charismatic, has a few nice moves, though nothing special. He takes an ass-beating and cuts a mean bladejob. And that's exactly what people see him as. I don't think many people think he's absolutely stellar, or anything.

If you're going to make outrageous statements like that, back them up. The plots are not at all even similar, except, I guess, a corrupt authority rules the city/country, which would make All the President's Men and Sin City clones. How are their tones similar? Sin City is straight, exaggerated noir. V is not. You are the worst movie critic of all time.

I've only seen the first 3 or 4 seasons of Homocide, but I think it's probably my favorite drama. With Lost, a lot of it's going to be determined on what happens in the future. There was a LOT of stalling this season. I've seen two shows somewhat similar to LOST, Twin Peaks and Alias (also a JJ Abrams show.) Both eventually utterly collapsed under the weight of their own twists and turns. If Lost can avoid this trap, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

The Shield is quite a bit better than LOST, IMO. The beginning of this season of LOST sucked. Homocide and Oz are probably the best Dramas I've seen on TV.
