Seahawks signing Burleson for that much is stupid, stupid, stupid. And I like Burleson. However, this is clearly just to hurt the Vikings, which it probably does a lot more than it helps the Seahawks. Between D-Jax, Engram and Stevans, the Seahawks already have a more than solid receiving corp. Spending that kind of money for a small upgrade at second receiver is retarded. And I HATE these so-called 'poison pills'. I didn't like it with Hutchinson, and I don't like it with Burleson. I hope it doesn't become common practice.

You can buy a pack of Fallout 2, Planescape and Baldur's for like $10. The Dark Sun games were packed with some Arab-themed Zelda clone (surprisingly good) and something else for $10 10 years ago. I bet the Dark Sun games are public property now. And if you have a decent computer, I hear Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is incredible. Haven't played it myself. Oh, and Deus Ex is an incredible game, subtly funny and very well made, but as fair warning, they never ended the story.

Yeah, what he asks is completely reasonable. And he's totally sincere in his objections, not having his name on the film means he gets no money. I just wonder if there could ever be an adaptation that he would be pleased with. Silver's an idiot for doing that, though. When you have a brilliant, temperamental commodity in Alan Moore, why do SO MANY people fuck with him over silly shit? DC's trifling over the Watchmen button set being the absolute height of idiocy. Marvel's beef with Marvelman is just as stupid, but I don't think they knew how incredible an author he was yet.

Hugo Weaving did indeed act under the mask. At least I assume so, because I read an interview in which he stated that he was excited by the challenge of playing a role with his face completely obscured. And the alliterative introduction? He carried it off pretty well. Portman's line at the end made it. I don't see why Alan Moore's upset about this movie. It does make V into something of an action hero, but that's a little bit to be expected. Of course, Alan Moore is pretty batshit crazy. I think it's cool he's giving credit to the artists in his adaptations, though.

I think the thing is, there haven't really been pure jobbers in quite a long time. I was thinking Scott Norton, who went on to hold the IWGP title, but nope. Fire & Ice won a few matches. Even more nowadays, since WWE just brings in local boys to job on Velocity. Public Enemy were treated like complete jobber goobs in the WWE, but that lasted a really short time. Randy Savage went from being one of the biggest stars in wrestling to jobbing to Spider-Man.

Let's all just ignore fanofPRIME. Incidentally, I saw this movie today called V for Vendetta. And it fucking kicked ass. And the tone of the film, for what it's worth is the exact oppositte of Sin City. Everyone in SIn City speaks in this clipped, repititious, uber-noir manner, while V is verbose and theatrical. Great job by Hugo weaving with his body language while speaking. It must have been a hard role to play. Only a couple of points of critique: God, did they set up all those dominos by hand? It looked like it. That's crazier to me than something like Treebeard. I think in this movie there will be quite a bit of extra footage on the DVD.

I think MMORPGs fucking suck, so take that into consideration. Fallout/Fallout 2 Planescape: Torment X-Com: UFO defense Icewind Dale (I'm probably one of very few people who prefers it to Baldur's Gate) Both Dark Sun games (very old)

I don't think Matt Groening has had much to do with the show in a long, long time. Like 3rd season or so long time. I hope it's funny. I thought Family Guy was dying, and the Stewie Griffen story would pull out the funny stops. Instead, it was just a dreadfully unfunny vanity piece.

After hearing the new Yeah Yeah Yeah's album, it is good. Karen O is definitely taking the Siouxsie branch, like I always thought she would, not that that's a bad thing. I like this album quite a bit. I, again, think they have staying power.

Now, I'm far from a prude. I'd say 50% of my favorite movies are all kinds of fucked up. However, when I see a movie promo like the current one for 'Slither' on primetime, I cringe. I plan to see 'Slither', it looks like good fun. However, the previews on TV are awfully gross for primetime. THe bloody, disfigured zombie, and especially the bloated woman are just disgusting. Prime reasons why I will see this film, but that's a bit much for kids to be seeing unintentionally. I'm also reminded of the 'Nutty Professor II' TV spot which had the granny taking out here teeth and diving underwater to give Eddie a Bj and him going WHOO! Again, I like me some dirty humor, but I don't think it should be on TV. What do you think? GODDAMIT. That should be movie commercials, obviously. Admin?
