  1. Saw, loved it, might go see it again. Additionally, did the ending remind anybody else of
  2. To put that in perspective, BART GUNN beat Cabbage. Arlovski couldn't knock out Cabbage but Tank did. But there's also the fact that Arlovski sucks. I don't think you understood me. I said BART FUCKING GUNN beat Cabbage. BTW, Arlovski TKO'd Cabbage, you must be thinking about Sylvia.
  3. To put that in perspective, BART GUNN beat Cabbage.
  4. Personally, I'd use Williams, only because Bush hasn't scored on offensive touchdown yet this year, and Cadillac, even as unproductive as he's been this year, still has more yards and at least one touchdown. Probably why I got rid of Bush this week, just because he'll be good or great a couple years down the road doesn't mean he'll do anything for me this year.
  5. Woah, 64 is this weekend? Shows you what a piece of shit card it is.
  6. Damn, that shit filled up fast.
  7. Okay, get ready to bash me, here's the moves I made this week: Byron Leftwich for Marc Bulger Picked up Bernard Berrian from Free Agency Galloway and Jennings for Joe Horn and Deon Branch Maurice Jones-Drew and Leon Washington for Reggie Bush and DeAngelo Williams Jason Witten for Heath Miller Lawrence Tynes and Matt Stover for Josh Brown and Olindo Mare
  8. What you described in your Yahoo league are the same rules I have in mine. What would be "normal" rules?
  9. Here's my team now, I'm 2-2 (our league didn't play Week 1), and a lot of these guys were picked up after some house cleaning this morning: QB's: Michael Vick, Byron Leftwich WR's: Laveranues Coles, Bernard Berrian, Joey Galloway, Reggie Wayne, Greg Jennings RB's: LaDanian Tomlinson, Cadillac Williams, Frank Gore, Maurice Jones-Drew, Leon Washington TE's: Jason Witten, Tony Gonzalez, Kellen Winslow K's: Lawrence Tynes, Matt Stover DEF: Pittsburgh
  10. The Crossroads, BTNH.
  11. I don't think a company that just signed Vince Russo is in the poisition to threaten anybody.
  12. So Akiyama submits Manhoef in the MW finals in Hero's. Didn't think he had it in him.
  13. If he would have made more of an effort to catch that one pass down the middle, we might have seen it. I think Troy even mentioned him not making an effort out of fear of a big hit.
  14. What the fuck was that bush league bullshit? You'd have thought that was Vickers' first race rather than his first win the way he took Johnson out.
  15. So what's up with North Texas and FIU? Just glancing at the scores and they're in their SIXTH overtime? Looks pretty ugly too, as only 12 points have been scored in all of the OT's, but then again it's expected with two of the worst teams in the nation butting heads.
  16. The only reason I was weary of it at first is because the guy's reviews are usually pretty reflective of the national critical view. Obviously, this is a glaring exception.
  17. I just think it's fucking stupid how somebody who's hardly led any laps, let alone win a race, has a very realistic chance of winning the title this year.
  18. The guy in my local (Charlotte, NC) paper shit all over it, giving it ** out of *****. That almost steered me away from seeing it, but after four positive reviews from you guys I'm heading out ASAP to see it.
  19. I almost wish Martin would win it, forcing them to finally change the points around to reward victories more than consistent seventh place finishes.
  20. Here's something for Lei to cream over: Aoki vs. Melendez is ON for the next Bushido. I'm down.
  21. I always thought his takedown defense was pretty "meh." His guard is pretty guard, but the fact is he doesn't really do anything with it. Otsuka laid in Silva's guard for 20 minutes in their fight and didn't get submitted.
  22. Rich's standup is being underrated by a lot of people, IMO. He has more power than Silva, and is pretty technical himself. Anderson probably has better kicks and knees, but Franklin might have the better boxing.
  23. I see Lawler reaching a Carlos Newton level, i.e. being able to beat the occasional good fighter, but not being consistently good enough to hang onto a top 10 position for any length of time.
  24. So Nakamura vs. Marvin Eastman and Joey Villasenor vs. Robbie Lawler are now official. Nakamura by decision and Lawler by KO, if only because he's fought tougher competition. Although I'm tempted to pick Joey by decision, but with his only fight against a game opponent being a loss and him winning victories over scrubs in KOTC swings me back to Lawler. I picture another decision victory for Nak, in the same vein as Randleman and Igor; win a mostly boring decision with about thirty seconds of excitement thrown in. Who did Conzilla used to be?
