I seem to remember reading somewhere that there were no traces of drugs in her system, but I could be wrong.

It would probably be more worth it to go to Thailand for a year (cheaper), train with them (best strikers in the world), and become a badass K-1 fighter (pays more money than UFC) -
PRIDE in USA, October 21st!
AboveAverage484 replied to Lt. Al Giardello's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
UFC rules will always favor the wrestler, but Shogun is good enough and Randleman is incosistent enough to swing this Mauricio's way. You know, they could probably do an "America vs. the World" type theme for this show. -

Well the Calgary Sun isn't exactly the first place I get my news from, but it's bound to pop up on the 'Dog, MMAWeekly, or Kakutougi sooner or later.

Thanks for the news, but not really surprising at all, especially considering the amount of people who seemd to believe 100% this was going to happen.

Good list alf, I had Malone, Mutombo, and Payton in my nineties list. I forgot to mention that I only ranked a player in one era for my lists, otherwise I would have had those three on it as well. Also, I took into account stats and awards before 2000, I only had to use that as a buffer zone to seperate each player into different eras. Here are my ninties era platers: 25. Latrell Sprewell 24. Dennis Rodman 23. Reggie Miller 22. Shawn Kemp 21. Dikembe Mutombo 20. Joe Dumars 19. Anfernee Hardaway 18. Chris Mullin 17. Alonzo Mourning 16. Brad Daugherty 15. Mark Price 14. Mitch Richmond 13. Kevin Johnson 12. Tim Hardaway 11. Grant Hill 10. Gary Payton 9. Scottie Pippen 8. Clyde Drexler 7. Patrick Ewing 6. John Stockton 5. David Robinson 4. Hakeem Olajuwon 3. Charles Barkley 2. Karl Malone 1. Michael Jordan Honorable Mentions: Vin Baker, Derrick Coleman, Glen Rice, Larry Johnson, Rod Strickland.

That's because Pride doesn't have any. -
Someone mentioned making a list for each era or decade. As a result of this, I've started on a list for each major "era," starting with the current and going back to around the 50's. These are the top 25 players from the present era, taking into account their career performance as well as their performance at their peak. Only players with at least 400 games were included. Only players that I determined reached the prime of their careers in the current decade were included. 25. Glenn Robinson 24. Jamal Mashburn 23. Sam Cassell 22. Peja Stojakovic 21. Antoine Walker 20. Baron Davis 19. Steve Francis 18. Elton Brand 16. Ben Wallace 16. Jermaine O'Neal (who, interestingly enough, tied Ben Wallace) 15. Shawn Marion 14. Stephon Marbury 13. Ray Allen 12. Paul Pierce 11. Vince Carter 10. Chris Webber 9. Dirk Nowitzki 8. Tracy McGrady 7. Jason Kidd 6. Steve Nash 5. Kobe Bryant 4. Kevin Garnett 3. Allen Iverson 2. Tim Duncan 1. Shaquille O'Neal Honorable Mentions: Ron Artest, Eddie Jones, Jerry Stackhouse, Michael Finley, Shareef Abdur-Rahim. The nineties are up next.

Well they stole it from the guy in your sig

That's nice, let the people who do talk about it.

Or until it happens a month before the show, when shit like this should have been worked out by the managers before the tourney even started. Or when Cro Cop says it's not about the money, only the belt, then when he gets fucked in the ass by Fedor and realizes he'll never sniff it, then it's about the money.
-
Cro Cop has manned up.
-
He's just being a bitch; probably doesn't want to get bitched down by Fedor again.

It sucked bigtime. Crosley couldn't take Melvin down for shit, and just sat down on his ass every time Melvin threw a strike, like he believed Mel would be stupid enough to follow him down. Fuck Crosley Gracie. At least Newton would have fought like a man. Saku definitely did not flop out of the ring purposely. Controversial call, and Sak being the benefactor only makes it more so, really. -

Saku was still getting his ass beat as soon as the ref restarted them and still recovered, so it wasn't as bad, but it was still pretty biased. -

Bushido was a show introduced by Pride to showcase their lighter weight fighters. They used to have a few heavyweight matches on there to draw, but the success of Bushido since the tournaments have allowed them to discontinue that. Other recommendations: Pride 10: Return of the Warriors (Saku/Renzo, Shamrock/Fujita, Igor/Enson, Silva/Mezger, Yvel/Goodridge), Pride 19: Bad Blood (Newton/Pele, Shamrock/Frye, Nogueira/Enson), Total Elimination and Final Conflict from 2003 (LHW tournament including Silva, Rampage, Liddell, etc.; only bought through pridefc.com, Sherdog, and other online retailers; pretty pricey however) I believe the rule if both fighters tumble out of the ring is to restart them standing; unless there is an injury in which case it goes to either the judge's score cards (if it's out of rd.1, IIRC) or is ruled a no contest. If another fighter intentionally throws another fighter out of the ring, it's grounds for disqualification. If a fighter intentionally crawls out of the ring (see: Herring vs. Fedor), he receives a yellow card. Hope that helps. -

I can afford the ticket, but the cash to fly out there would be too much. This is great news, but too bad it's under shitty American MMA rules. -
If you don't know what to do now, wait until you graduate college, then the fun really starts!

History of the WWE Championship 3-DVD Set
AboveAverage484 replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
Because I don't have a lot of those matches on DVD. Its true a lot of those matches have been released on a lot of recent dvd's but a lot of people do not own all those dvd's. I guess that's true... though I thought they would have had a few more "new" matches than ones we've all see 1000 times.
