  1. I'm gonna have a nervous breakdown watching the Cavs try to win their first series since 1993 . . . I think it was 1993.
  2. Was he bad in the eyes of the smarks? Or bad in the eyes of management? Because it'd be almost impossible to turn both groups off.
  3. As my avatar indicates, so do I Well, WCW Jericho at least.
  4. Followed by a rematch to show the world . . . well, Orlando at least, who is king of Universal Studios.
  5. I'll see if my brother can do it tomorrow. IIRC, Stamp gets a little sassy in there not seeming to know when to put a halt on the offense and just let the Rougeaus kick his ass. Nothing too over the top but still noticeable. You've never seen a jobber more proud to hear Mel Phillips announce his name more than Stamp.
  6. I have a tape of a 1986 Challenge ep where the Rougeaus defeat Stamp and another shlub. He looked pretty much the same in 86 as he did in 97.
  7. I kinda dug that as well. Although, I'd have had the Kenny character act a little more passive at first and try to charm HHH into making a faster count rather than throwing a tantrum after every pin attempt.
  8. Was this Hawk from Tough Enough? If so, did he offer his date a hawkwich (PB and waffle sandwich)?
  9. Him taking the WWE block off the microphone was a helluva nice touch.
  10. Thanks for the answers. Yeah, Nemeth was Kerwin's caddy. That's the only way I would have known who he was since I don't remember reading his name skimming through OVW reports.
  11. Dumb question time . . . who exactly are the Spirit Squad? I know about Ken Doane, Nick Nemeth, and Johnny Jeter, but have no clue who Mitch and Mikey are.
  12. Boy, that's news to me. I sure am glad these knowledgable troopers from wwe.com are here to set us straight.
  13. In all fairness, the CW division was only around for a month or two before Mysterio came into WCW. As a complete mark in 1996, I saw the CW Title as something very special when Malenko was attempting to hold off Mysterio over the summer of 1996. It's certainly possible that WWE is throwing ECW a bone, but I personally doubt that was the intention. I don't even know why I care about the line.
  14. Why can't they at least give them credit in the one area WCW undisputably handled better than WWF/E ever has.
  15. Can't moan too much about this lineup. I'm assuming wwe.com follied up by listing the Ironman match as 16 minutes. Nice to see a couple AWA matches get peppered in to give me a chance to see some stuff I've never seen before. Backlund/Patera is a nice touch as is LOD's last WWE match together.
  16. Buh Buh Ray once chucked my buddy's cap into the crowd. I thought that was pretty rotten but I think my friend found it to be kinda cool that he could 'enrage' a worker so much to get him to throw his hat into the crowd. If it was me, I'd just be pissed about losing my cap.
  17. I thought the real selling point of this ppv to the smarks was to see RVD FINALLY pin HHH one-on-one.
  18. He was speared by Goldberg a couple weeks later and never heard from again. Ralphus managed to dodge to bullet.
  19. I kid cause I care.
  20. I was at the Raw in July 2001 in Atlanta when they did the WCW/ECW merger thing. There were tons of ECW chants in the Philips Arena lobby. Funny thing is, this group of little kids tried starting a WWE chant. It was really sad and put it all into perspective, I thought. Give those kids credit for having the foresight of knowing the WWF would have to change their name soon.
  21. They already acknowledged that Vince owns ECW last summer. Heyman said something to the degree of, "Remember our agreement Vince, you may own ECW but I control it!"
  22. Yeah, the avatar makes me have to read BL's posts quickly, otherwise my coworkers will think I'm mesmorized by the avatar.
  23. I don't know how they're squeezing all that onto 3 discs.
  24. Now if HHH took the High Spirits, I'd definitely tune in for that.
