  1. Nostagicly speaking, the last 5 minutes of Warrior/Hogan from WMVI.
  2. You'd be wrong. The match was supposed to finish with Mickie using the Stratusfaction. They fucked it up, OBVIOUSLY, fucking OBVIOUSLY fucked it up, and improvised the "Mick Kick" finish. If you don't see that, you're a mongoloid. To me, had they have gone back to the bulldog spot, then I'd say it was horribly botched. But, they quickly improvised to a finish that made plenty of sense before the crowd even had a chance to crap on it. So, while a spot may have been botched, due to Trish's quick-witted selling and the quickness of Mickie's kick to finish Trish off, I still wouldn't consider the finish botched since it all flowed in its own way. Make up your mind dude. You write that the finish "may have been botched" and then "[you] still wouldnt consider it botched". It WAS botched but they did as good of a job as anyone to cover it up. They saved it from being horrible but it was still botched. The spot was botched, but the finish turned out fine.
  3. Santana/Michaels was a solid, if anticlimatic, opener at WMVIII.

  5. My favorite WWF/E women's match is still the ladies match from Survivor Series 1987. The work of everyone in that match was great (save Marie and Christianello since they were the designated jobbers for their team). Plus, it featured the nicest giant swing I've ever seen.
  6. I wouldn't consider it botched since, IIRC, Trish immediately clutched the knee that had been worked on earlier in the match.
  7. that would be hilarious...doc asks him questions and he goes in flashes from crying to lashing out in anger to laughing like a loon. Where they'd randomly bump into Scott Hall. Or maybe they can go to Captain Lou Albano's friend Dr. Sigmond Ziff so he can bust out the electric shock therapy like they did to George Steele . . . How now brown cow.
  8. Maybe we'll get live RNN updates from his therapy sessions.
  9. IIRC, Hercules was notorious for doing that during his initial WWF heel run.
  10. I still think they dropped the ball not giving Hardy an extremely short title reign. After the months of crap he had to put up w/ from the Undertaker, the blowoff had to be more than a "I respect you" handshake. Hardy could have won the title, taken it to SD (since the champion was on both shows at the time), Angle could have destroyed him for the belt since Hardy was hurt. The Vengeance 3-Way (UT, Rock, & Angle) could have been a 4-way. Rock wins and Hardy never comes close to a title reign again. That being said, I am no Jeff Hardy fan.
  11. And it was pretty awesome to see AA score another win over Hogan the following week. Granted, the 2nd win was via DQ, but I marked out anyway.
  12. Chyna was simply a face when tangling w/ JJ and a heel when assisting HHH in beating down JR.
  13. Wow, he's dumber than I thought. Is he gonna text message advice from home to the wrestlers?
  14. Hmmmm, even though I quit last time after about 1 week (so much for thinking Trevor Murdoch was getting a push), I'm thinking of entering The Young Stallions. Crank it up!
  15. You should give Fiber One a shot. Sure, you or others may scoff at a bran cereal but it's deceptively tasty and comes w/ 2 bags in the box which is ingenious. And best of all, it's keeps ya regular.
  16. The ECW site is up at www.ecw.com . . . it features a trailer for this year's ECW: ONS.
  17. I'm waiting for wweshop.com to release the new Josh Matthews/Tim White t-shirt. "Mr. White, that's not wise!" w/ bloodsplattering on the front and back.
  18. I'd love to see a Best of Chris Jericho dvd that ONLY includes his heel WCW run.
  19. Yeah, you never saw Jose Luis Rivera hanging around Miss Elizabeth in the 1980s.
  20. Agreed here. I saw it a few years ago just ready to love every second of it and it left me completely underwhelmed and disappointed. Granted, Dangerfield and Chase got some chuckles out of me but overall the movie was a bore. And for as quotable as many say it is, I can only remember a couple lines.
  21. At least they let Savio bring the plund-ah.
  22. If you were referring to me, I was alluding that RVD would eat about 3-4 Pedigrees which would cause an Atlas Security member to throw RVD over his shoulder and carry him out.
  23. I checked out Unlimited this morning, and up until HHH's suckerpunch, the 1st Unlimited segment was gold. Seeing HHH posing to the crowd to his sleeked out Motorhead tune get cut off by "Just Look at Me" was fuckin gold! It would have beat out Jim Duggan's "Take it EASY!" promo as my favorite Unlimited segment if Conway wasn't made to look like a goon to ensure the KoK gets every last morsel of heat back (Yes, heat can come in morsels now). EDIT --- After skimming through the thread, I must have been the only one to think it was a nice touch to keep RVD's theme running throughout the promo. Granted, they should have turned it down a little bit but I didn't mind it at all.
  24. He won't walk out w/o the WWE Title . . . he'll be carried out. MM831 --- Always prepares for the worst.
  25. Booker King.
