  1. On the Collection (I-XIII), Regis's interviews are in tact. He also interviewed The Undertaker and Paul Bearer.
  2. Last night is a prime example that one hour is plenty for TNA for now. By the time the Dudleys were on, I started channel flipping as well. Granted, it was an entertaining show, but TNA just can't hold my interest for two straight hours yet. (Hell, Raw can't hold it for two minutes.) I totally dig the 30-45 sec spots on the respective wrestlers before/after breaks. Rhino's interview segment was tremendous . . . not too much, not too little. The wrestling was all solid, entertaining, and exciting which is all you can hope for when trying to draw new fans. Although, Tenay was annoying yelling to call your friends about Impact. How bout I e-mail TNA my buddies' numbers and they can call instead? Anywhoo, if TNA continues to make progress, they'll be ready for two hours this time next year. P.S. They got to change the TNA name though.
  3. Well, at least Shelton's match got the most story notes.
  4. I am so tempted to send you copies of Coliseum Video's "George 'The Animal' Steele", "Wrestling's Country Boys", and "Best of the WWF Volume 14" to review. But I'm not a sadist.
  5. This is the one noticeable edit in the collection that I have as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> IIRC, it made that edit/jump in every WM tape on the Collection. For the first 8 of them, it was during intermission. But for the rest of them, it'd come at some random point about halfway through the show. And WMXIV did indeed have the block logo on the turnbuckles.
  6. They showed it in the highlight package before the match. It sure appeared that both injuries were worked. Although, I'm surprised they wouldn't lop off one of the Steiners to put Undertaker in since Tatanka was still very over at the time.
  7. Bob "Sparkplug" Holly winning the Intercontinental Title on the Action Zone in 1995 . . . BUT the match was restarted the next week and Holly came up empty. Still, it was weird to see perennial jobber Bob Holly walk to the dressing room with the I-C belt on his shoulder.
  8. As a casual TNA viewer, I'd say having a 1-hour weekly show at this time is best, while keeping the door open for 2-hour specials as are being planned. The company would be better suited to leave you wanting more w/ a 1hr show rather than bombarding its audience w/ 2hrs of wrestling w/ guys many casual fans have never heard of. The odds of holding onto an audience for 2 hours is a lot worse than holding them there for just 60 minutes. The pacing of a 2hr weekly show would have to be AMAZING for it to work.
  9. I so hope they get rid of Joey Styles. Is Art Donovan still alive? He'd be a much better replacement.
  10. - Hawaii is an anti-American country ya know. Well, he was aligned w/ Fuji/Yokozuna so it sorta made sense. - Because it was 1991.
  11. There are now interviews up w/ Jake Roberts and Bret Hart taken from their respective dvds.
  12. I watched it right after Doink vs. Kamikaze Kid. Nash disappointed me w/ the clean job.
  13. "That doesn't work for me brother."
  14. I'd recommend checking out the Roberts/Hart interviews at the bottom from their respective dvds. Interesting stuff as each man is in near tears by the end.
  15. I should have known a couple weeks after I pay for it, it'd be free for anyone w/ half a brain to use. But I didn't. Cripes.
  16. These are just individual matches for the ol wwe.com jukebox. They renamed it Online 24/7. Unless you meant you can record them off your WMP. If that's the case, nevermind.
  17. Well, on the positive side for Vader's return . . . I marked for the Vader theme. And the fact that it took him a half hour to get to the ring meant I got to hear more of it.
  18. Eh, not too bad of a lineup. Generally, I'm happy to see matches/segments I've never seen or can't remember. Looking forward to checking out Graham/Rhodes, Steiners/Sting & Luger, Sting/Rotundo, and Syxx/Mysterio for the first time.
  19. I highly doubt the one month where he actually wins a match (against Spanky on Velocity) that he'd quit.
  20. I have it complete although there is a little cable fuzz, but the pic is stable w/ no shakiness . . . in other words, great for 21 year old footage . . . shitty compared to WWE 24/7 footage.
  21. Hello, I'm currently selling these two items. The Road Warriors dvd set is in great condition with the original cover/insert. Road to WrestleMania is only the cartridge but works great as well. Looking for $15 shipped for both items w/ DC in the U.S. Paypal preferred but I can take a money order. Reply here or shoot me a PM if interested. Thanks.
  22. Nah, that was Savage vs. Honky who had the Hart Foundation in his corner after Jimmy Hart was taken out by Savage.
  23. Maybe they'll bring in all three Double Js . . . Jeff, Jerry, and Jesse James . . . as the Triple Double Js.
  24. Prefer to be given only finish and call everything else in the ring? Lay the entire match out beforehand? Eh, lay it out beforehand but have the flexibility to change it if the crowd is completely crapping on it or someone forgets his/her spot. Like to have your promo's scripted? Or just be given a couple of bullet points, and wing the rest? Bulletpoints. Just so I know where I'm going w/ the promo. If I get stuck, I'll just wrap it up. Blade often? Only on occasion? Would you rather never blade at all? I'd be scared to death of blading but could probably be talked into it now and again. Especially, if it means fatter checks. What style would you like to wrestle? Why would you prefer to employ that particular style over others? A technical style I guess. If nothing else, I'd like to be findamentally sound and slowly build my repotoire (sp?) as I progress. Refuse to take certain moves? Only take them when working with certain wrestlers? If I trust the wrestler, I'd take just about anything. If I don't trust the worker, I'd be crappin myself the whole match anyway. Are there any match types you'd like to wrestle in a lot? Some match types you'd rather never have to work in? I'm a battle royal/Royal Rumble/Survivor Series mark, so stick me in those matches. Someone can javelin me over the top. Plus, it'd be cool to be in a 4-5 man team with a hokey name . . . The Rude Brood, The Vipers, ect. Even the Elimination Chamber looks like a blast. However, no Exploding Taipei Death Matches for me. What style of normal match would you like to do the most? Would you prefer to sell or to dominate? Would you like to do long matches? I'd much rather sell. Seems like a lot less work. If you're dominating, you better know 2-3 moves ahead what you're going to do. As for match length, I don't really care. 2 min-60min . . . whatever. Would you like to have a manager or valet to work spots with or would you rather just do it all yourself? I'd only want one if that person somewhat fits my style/character. Don't just stick someone w/ me just because (Ex: Stacy w/ Hurricane). Are there some types of angles that you would refuse to do? Some types of angles that you'd love to do? I'd only refuse blatant homosexual angles. I'd be willing to work with anything else, no matter how dumb it is. What promotion would you like to work for the most? What promotion would you hate to work for? I'm pretty ignorant about promotions so I'll just say whichever pays the most. What promotion of the past would you most liked to have worked for? What promotion would you have hated working for the most? Only cause I'm a mark for mid-late 1980s WWF, I'd love to be in the SD Jones role getting my BUTT kicked by the heel of the month. Any wrestlers today that you'd like to work against? Any you would avoid working against at all costs? I'm pretty indifferent here. What wrestlers from the past would you like to work against? What wrestlers from the past would you not want to work against? I'd love to work w/ 1980s Randy Savage and would avoid that Missing Link goof at all costs.
  25. I actually would love to work heel in ROH, just so I could mock them clapping for the indy standoff thing. Has any heel done that yet? Because as a heel the crowd should, you know, not really clap for you. IIRC, EZ Money used to throw little pissy fits when the crowd would cheer for one, but nothing over the top.
