  1. I would venture to say that Paul Orndorff is the most overrated performer of all time.
  2. It's a good thing Trump no sold Julius Ceasar at WrestleMania IX.
  3. Good lookin out Matt.
  4. I did find it pretty funny that the two of the top technical wrestlers at WMV, Bret Hart and Mr. Perfect both stumbled on that step while guys like The Rockers, Blue Blazer, & Ultimate Warrior had no trouble at all flying down the ramp.
  5. Off the top of my head, Dibiase made him pass out to the Million $ Dream to win the tag belts. It's not a pin but, IMO, a submission is even better. Not sure if it was televised on Prime Time or not but Yokozuna pinned him shortly before Quake left the company. Not sure if this is what you're thinking of, but when Earthquake walked out in 1994, they aired clips from a house show of Yokozuna sitting on Earthquake after the Banzai Drop, and talked about it to give the impression that Yokozuna had run Earthquake out of the WWF. I was referring to a match in late 1992-early 1993 prior to Quake's 1st departure from the company. Fuji still had the buzzcut. But I know what you're talking about since Quake was scheduled to have a KOTR Qualifying Match against Owen Hart that week. I figured Owen was fucked since Quake just beat Yoko in a Sumo Match on the previous Raw. Luckily since Quake was taken out, Doink was the replacement and Owen had little problem disposing him.
  6. Race/Haku was cut out from RR89. There is some clippage from the Women's Title match as it's clipped down to about two minutes. There is a clip during the final 4 of the Rumble as well. Probably more stuff was hacked too but I don't have the most keen eye for that sort of thing.
  7. FWIW, SummerSlam 1988 and Royal Rumble 1989 were also clipped to 2 hours a piece.
  8. That was 1987. At least in 1988, none of the eliminations were cut.
  9. Good stuff. Cornette would be proud.
  10. "You got to THROW DOWN!!!" --- Wilbon
  11. I don't necessarily crave WWE 24/7 as much as I'd love to see the MSG/SNME shows from the Hulkamania Era (1984-1992) that I don't have.
  12. FWIW, DDP did cut an pre-recorded interview on the final Nitro saying what WCW meant to him and all that yada yada. As for another strange one, Heyman firing Ron Simmons on air is weird since ususually those set up returns 1-21 days later.
  13. ^^^ He lost a 1st Blood Match on SD to Jericho in the late summer of 1999. Jericho, in full hockey gear, top roped splashed Shamrock a few times until he internally bled . . . I'm as shocked as you are. IIRC, he was never seen again in WWF/E programming.
  14. Never saw much of his work other than his mainstream stuff but he came across like a really likeable, easygoing guy. Sucks that shitty things happen to good people. Just a tragic way to go considering the circumstances. Prayers to his family/friends and I also hope that someone is watching over Tammy/Siaki.

  16. they oughta keep Hurricane Helms on Raw then so he can interrupt every week at about 10:50 EST only to be thrown off the stage and pedigreed every week.
  17. In February, I thought the Cavs would make the playoffs.
  18. It was $50?
  19. Doesn't look like a good night for Christian. EDIT --- Didn't see the detailed spoilers.
  20. "All American Boys" --- Fabulous Rougeau Brothers, A classic indeed. There's a bunch more I could list but this was 1st to pop in my head.
  21. I read somewhere that shortly after Roberts turned heel, he tried to attend Savage's bachelor party on PTW but Savage had him thrown out.
  22. Hope you're a fan of the run-in.
  23. I have plenty of Abrams UWF tapes . . . and while they are b-a-d, they (especially DeGeorge) come across as a little less smug than Mooney/Hayes.
  24. No defending that, but he did that mostly w/ Mooney who made up the worst broadcasting team of all time in any sport.
  25. I think it's more of a case of the crowds being completely apathetic towards many of the newer faces along w/ HHH of course. Then they look at Christian and think to themselves, "I always kinda liked that guy. Woooo Christian!!!"
