    Creed Broke Up

Why is that? Because 90% of the music-buying public are ignorant to passable music. Nah...Good Charlotte hasn't even reached 2x platium... Creed just connected to a wide market. Im pretty sure GC is over 2million.... And GC and Creed are the same thing there duder...generic. bland, garbage music for people who cant think past the sophomore year of high school. But youre deaf so it can slide.
  6. Unfortunately cerebus, there are many similarities between Vietnam and Iraq...both the wars, and the time eras. -Both are politically/monetarilly motivated conflicts -Both are seeing the unnecessary loss of both military and civilian life -Both are seeing certain businesses profit very heavilly(Bell Helicoptrer vs. Haliburton) -Both are presumably pushover victories for the US, but the conflicts then/now drag on far too long -Both are keys to political campaigns -Both eras show startling similarities amongst the polititians of the time(Bush=nixon, Kerry=Humphrey, bloatedKennedy=youngKennedy, Dean=McGovern) -Both shape our world outlook, opinions, situations in negative lights -Both are highly controversial to both Americans and the rest of the world Well, theres 8 big similarities off the top of my head....but of course theyre not similar....
  7. A brief look at people in in music's opinions on this issue - Neil 'Jesus' Young - Pro Chad Kroeger/Metallica - Con Neil knows, Neil wins. And, for the kiddies trying to say that filesharing hurts young bands - The labels arent going to support them, their touring is self-supported, their advertising is selfsupported, and they almost ALL are pro-filesharing. Kinda weird. Spose we shoulda banned blank tapes and radio back in the day too....
  8. John Kerry - The Hube of this generation
  9. Elaborate....
  10. Rebecca Moore - Home Wreckordings Relative Ash - Our Time With You
  11. Yes Please.
  12. Yes.... And its even more amusing to read when you consider that Mikey is like 35 years old or something. Isn't it trolling when somebody does nothing but post crap like this? Good lord, can you bring a little content once in a while? -=Mike Trolls... Kill Em All! Nuke em! -=Mike

    The Vines breaking up

  20. Hanson - Penny and Me

  22. I dont get the Phish hate... Very talented band, good songs. Jam music has its lameass scentesters just like metal does and the altrock scene. Who cares? Good music is good music... I went to the Jager/Slipknot show earlier thgis year and about 50 metal shows before - theres always a few poseurs and retarded jocks who dont get it. But most everyone there makes sure everyone has fun and stays safe in the pits. Im going to Bonnaroo in a couple weeks...Im sure therell be some dorks there but m also sure Ill meet a ple of cool new people and hear some great music. Coincidentally, Ill be travelling from Wisconsin to the East Coast at exactly the time of Coventry, but after seeing Lolla, Crosby Stills Nash, Arlo Guthrie, and NYC's Howl Festival I probably wont have the time/money for this....but if I can make it, I will.
  23. Anyone know what matches will be on this?
  24. ...or as Mike calls it 'bolivian'
  25. I've participated in several message board discussions with Rall, and I totally agree with his politics. It's just that when he tries to make his point he goes for sensationalism and outrage. He's a smart guy who makes dumb comics. He's also an asshole who can't take a joke and sued somebody because of it. That post was in referance to MikeSC....plenty of gung-ho, kill em all gusto, but no military participation... He apparently has an issue with a comic strip but offers brilliant strategies such as 'bomb em all' for foreign relations affairs.
