I was hot tonight, rocking a total hipster look (complete with super-slimming dress jacket). I'm so ashamed, yet encouraged to expand on it.

I'd just make my fingers into huge "legs" that bounded, leapt, spun, whatever, across the stuff out the window.

He even sounds like his curse-outs are fed to him.

I wear that one a lot too, but I've had it for a real long time and it's starting to show a lot of wear.

The State of the Union, 2006 edition.

If the CIA leak investigation ends up focused on Cheney, we might not have so much to worry about. Agnew went down first also. -
I don't think it's out of the question to see a couple of 5.0's leading into Wrestlemania, since I think Raw's going to promote the shit out of SNME and the tournament is a format that can keep viewers coming back, barring a lot of crap. This week is a good sign that people cared to tune in after the PPV despite it being fairly well shown that Edge wasn't going to keep the title. I think if they fail to pull a couple of 5.0's or, more likely, lose viewers, we're gonna see some real big shakeups after Wrestlemania. If Smackdown remains the wreck it is now, I'm dying for them to combine the rosters again.

If they had a dude do Tony Montana with a young Castro look, it'd be the next huge main eventer. Really.

Yo, up yours, cocko. Us old-timers love this. Respec'.

Okay, so tonight they did a piece on John Murtha, speakin' of Hannity's show. They went to Murtha's district to see if they liked the guy and felt he was a good man who was always looking out for the best for everyone. So after they show a series of glowing opinions, it cuts back to Colmes, who looks like he's trying not to vomit as he says "but did his constituents approve of these words?" They play the 2.3 seconds it took Murtha to say "The Army... is broken." Now these people who thought John was a pretty cool cat before all say "oh, I disagree with that," "the army isn't broken, that's wrong," and so on. Of the seven or eight people they showed speaking at different times (without names or contexts outside of the image on the screen), there were four senior citizens, with two of them being apparent veterans with their full retiree regalia and the flag in the background. The others were middle of the road in appearance with little known besides their sex, but FOUR old people out of eight? I just yelled "oh, fuck YOU" at the television and stormed off to buy a pack of cigarettes, which I haven't touched in two days. I'm tellin' you, man. we're headed for a massive shitstorm once this country starts fighting back at this stuff. I'm going to be seriously worried if we have another Supreme Court vacancy before 2009. Think this is overdramatic? As 2GOLD pointed out a week or two ago in another thread, each time these Republicans have won out since 2000, it was almost criminal that the opposition couldn't easily win. This poisonous climate and slanted "journalism" everywhere thanks to the internet and crusading public figures on both sides in both the political and everyday worlds is going to lead to some pure-bred messiness within the next decade, should we continue along a fairly similar path as now. Normal Americans, who in earlier times would have defeated this menace long ago, are now sedated thanks to cheap reality television that mostly glorifies entertainers further and goads us into really wanting to be someone whose image is carefully tailored appearances orchestrated by their business interests as we listen to .mp3s on our wireless phones that can bring us constant sports highlights and text message jokes to tell your friends later on while you're driving to Best Buy so you can get a high-definition television since being outside your house and away from your plasma babysitter doesn't sound all that interesting. Sorry, that Murtha segment had me so pissed, the rest of that flowed naturally. -
The Captain Charisma shirt is always received well no matter where I go.

Oh yeah, shit like this, sure, listen to people who know better. I just mean in general. We always run to find statistics and experts to support our positions instead of doing it ourselves and maintaining some autonomy.

The military expenditures will continue, but they'll seriously hinder any other proactive military campaigns. What's happening in Iran would be pressured a hell of a lot more if we had the capability to back it up, but it isn't. So we're waiting to see what the UN does this time, and we'll probably give them a lot more time than we did with Iraq. The current engagements must be given the appropriate funding though, that's unquestionable. The government will have given close to $100 billion for the Katrina recovery should this be passed. This is something that doesn't require a full federal effort as the military would, so this is a very agreeable amount so far. What needs to be examined closer is what happens to that money once the bill is passed and it isn't in the news anymore. Hopefully there won't be another bundle of ludicrous items that raise eyebrows thanks to the beauracracy and inefficiencies again.

I never see anyone else with wrestling stuff on outside of the sports bar for the monthly PPVs.

Okay, it's time for the guy that does cocks to leave now.

While not particularly useful in this discussion, it's important not to listen to "experts" too much. That kind of behavior has produced the massive gap between Americans inside and outside the Beltway.

Vince went from beast to quite nice with that new information. Now let's sit back and wait for the day when he's really nailed.

Worrying about abortion is pointless, because we're too far along to get rid of it at this point. I'm worried more about corporate cases and executive power rulings.

Wildpegasus, the cool kids don't even post here anymore. Don't you want to be cool? I still have him ignored, but all those posting voids need to disappear. -
People, some have too much time on their hands...

It's not awesome, but it's certainly good. Shounen Bat and his victims as my avatar for a few months tells you what my (limited) anime favorite is. -
I'm too used to playing Tetris on my emulator. The whole "up = rotate piece" thing throws me off big time.

I asked JHawk if he'd like a vacation a few months ago, since I've gotten back into watching Raw live in the last six months or so. I'd love to review it, especially since I can't think of what to write about for my own column.

This is probably the least shocking thing about Vince I've ever heard.

Yeah, about the speech itself, a lot of the stuff he said sounded well and good, s'long as we actually make some motion towards getting those things done. Especially the education points. -
The LivingWithStyle forums had an arcade thing, the only redeeming quality about the place.
