I'd never create a gimmick account. Testkick

Quick BTW for the folks in charge, I really meant I'd write, not just hopping on and saying "sure!" like it's some new board clique or something.

I figured he'd been off of them since 2003, as someone said. I attributed his current Chunky H appearance to being injured and not wrestling in a few months.

Vote for a new Batista shirt design on WWE.com
Art Sandusky replied to haws bah gawd's topic in The WWE Folder
The Captain Charisma shirt is seriously the only one in about five years or so that was actually enhanced by something on the back. If the Scarface Eddie shirt wasn't so goddamned cool, the back would have been a dealbreaker too. -
That's anyone's list, man. It's bad enough people care about his writing this much, but you started a thread because the dude got hitched. Come on.

Wait, so that song on the Emo YTMNDs is a real song? Holy shit, I thought it was a satire.

Why is WP so insistent on the steroid question?

Best timing ever: the chorus of "You're The Best Around" hit just as I scrolled down to the Nacho Libre picture.

If they were to do this for real, I think I'd have to go kick some doors down at ESPN and start demanding answers. Seriously, how in God's name does ANYONE care about agents, especially a slimeball like that motherfucker whose name I refuse to type lest I make it look like I actually give a fuck. When agents are getting more face time than actual athletes on sportscasts, we've lost the reason for sport in the first place.

I'm not even entirely convinced that the Social Security agenda wouldn't still be pushed today if it weren't for Katrina suddenly waking up everyone in the country who didn't already see the things going wrong. John Murtha is the man, but is only one of many who could also say something that didn't come across as the same "guys in business suits hurling diplomatic insults at each other" claptrap. He actually had the sack to go out there and speak in blunt, frank terms that Americans can get behind. If only more followed his lead. Minority party or not, they could at least get some ideas out there. What's the Democratic stance on stuff that isn't the war or a dumbass, trumped-up wedge issue like abortion or living wills? Shit, even if bill proposals on big issues were shot down, they'd at least get some press and make the Republicans look like the uncompromising ones who are against everything (which they are already, but as the ones in charge it isn't so clear).

I'll be the first to say it in this particular merchandise thread: WHY DO YOU FEEL THE NEED TO PUT SHIT ON THE BACK OF EVERY SHIRT?! Seriously, the dumb crap they put on the backs keeps me from buying a lot of them. -

Awesome, Oregon's probably my favorite Pac-10 team ('cept those yellow uniforms, yikes). I think I look forward to Ohio State/Notre Dame more than the championship game.

Except that's not the quote we were referring to. Well, my mistake then. Soddy.

Strong voices of dissent? They sound like a bunch of whiners. Phase 2 of the intelligence investigation will be forgotten over the holiday recess and will require another harsh action to get it moving again. That is, if everyone isn't too busy campaigning and attending fundraisers. I'd like to think the Democrats will start exhibiting more proaction rather than reaction in the coming election year in order to look like they have a position on something, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Except for the thwarting of the attempt to make Social Security a private enterprise, there's nothing major to which they can point and say "Look, we did this at least." Their complete ineptitude in failing to capitalize on the last several months and make some stuff really happen is frustrating. They had the GOP by the balls (especially in September/October) and were too busy complaining to provide a real alternative. The average American citizen would be excused if they thought you had to start a sentence with "This administration has..." in order to be a Democratic lawmaker. After all, it's all you hear from them on the evening news. It's nothing but what the other side is doing wrong. We already know the ways in which the last five years have been a pretty big brainfart. Tell us what you can do differently instead of just repeating the same shit. My feeling is that they're saving the good stuff for when it'll count (in the political way) in the next year. I certainly hope so, because they don't have my vote as easily this time around without some real substantial changes. I can't be the only leftist who feels like this, and I'll blow my brains out before voting for another crop of neo-cons.

Bush informed in 2001 of lack of Iraq-Qaeda ties
Art Sandusky replied to Your Paragon of Virtue's topic in Current Events
But you're assuming some schmuck is actually going to get that money. Thinking it won't go to a corporation or firm that's in good with the government (no matter the side of the aisle) is delusional. -
Oh snap, a Tony149 sighting on the list of people reading the thread. I've got oodles of time and am also (I think, I haven't checked in a loooooong time) still set up to write for the main page. I don't even need to choose my own format/subject material. Tell me what to write about if you want.

"BANG!" Is the dude in that snake movie Keenan of "Keenan and Kel" and recent SNL fame?
-
I... don't even have the energy to do this proper.
-
Right about it being his "turn," I mean. Not the failing part.
-
Czech's right, make him a mod instead.
-
No, quite a bit actually. For me anyway. Then I bumped into a dude I went to grade school with while walking back to the car, and he was on his way to a friend's place where a man-sized blunt was waiting. When I finally left town to go home around 3am, I ended up talking politics with the dude working third shift at the corner gas station for a half hour. It was a good night.

I should be a mod again, really.
