I think the substance of Kobe's comments is correct. The timing and setting he chose to air them are not. The team told them to shut up, Shaq did and Kobe didn't. Shaq is in the clear there, but he sure seems like an ass for not supporting Kobe during the offseason and for starting an unneeded controversy with the rape trial providing plenty of distraction. They both are putting themselves above the team, which sucks.

All of Kobe's comments seem like things he's held back on for years. For some reason, he's fed up. As a guy who HATED Malone, I feel worst for him and Payton taking pay cuts for this shit that was supposed to be buried.

And I'm sorry you didn't get the Architect scene, but he nailed his heelishness. His demeanor was harsh and cold, firm and unfeeling, like a machine. His dialogue was that of a condescending, piece-of-shit know-it-all. Maybe you couldn't stay with the big words, but that scene was not only major, it was very well done.
