Mr. S£im Citrus replied to Mr. S£im Citrus's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
I'll see if I can work you into the next show. In fact, if any JLers or retirees/seperatees would like for me to put them over in the HOLT report, just shoot me a PM sometime. -
11/12 SWF Storm HOLT Report
Mr. S£im Citrus replied to Mr. S£im Citrus's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
It took him THAT long...did Craig stall???? Van Siclen was rusty; it took him a little while to shake off the ring rust. -
SWF Storm HOLT report November 21, 2003 Seattle, Washington at Key Arena Report by Christopher Hurlbert of Bremerton, WA, Smartmarks.com reader Dark Matches: - English Dragon beat Tryst in 3:20 with a Dragon Driver. - Mike Van Siclen beat Craig McClennan in 48 seconds with a Van Slaminator. - SJL World Champion Aecas and Insane Luchador wrestled to a 10-minute time limit draw. - SWF Hardcore Champion Wildchild beat Todd Royal in 8:18 in a non-title match. I’m not sure whether Royal is that good, or if Wildchild wasn’t feeling it, but Todd gave WC a much tougher time than I would have expected. Wildchild won with the Wild Ride. Storm: - The crowd was totally into Thugg when he first came out, but by the end of his promo, it was about split 50/50. - Jamie “Jay Dawg” Drazon came down to the ring after the Onita/Matthews match. He said that he decided to come down from Vancouver to talk about Ashes 2 Ashes. He slammed the show, saying that it was trash because he wasn’t booked to wrestle. He criticized SWF Commissioner “Grand Slam” Mark Stevens, making some really bad puns about him not having any balls. He went on to say how sickened he was by what the SWF has become, and then claimed that there wasn’t anyone in the fed today that could even make him break a sweat. Before he could get any further, though, “When Darkness Falls” started up and Terrance “Janus” Bailey came down to the ring. Terrance smacked Jay Dawg around for a few seconds, and knocked him over the top rope and out of the ring with a Knuckle Bomb. - Wildchild ran down to the ring after the Johnny Dangerous/Va’aiga match and helped Johnny backstage. - We were all in stunned silence with the way the show ended. After Taylor ran out of the ring, the referee waited about a minute before declaring Flesher the winner by count out. Flesher went back to the back without any fanfare, and Funyon got into the ring to thank us all for coming out. Best Pops. 1) HVille Thugg (before he turned on the fans) 2) Janus 3) Strangler 4) Flesher 5) Johnny Dangerous Loudest Boos 1) Erek Taylor 2) Va’aiga 3) Jay Dawg 4) Charlie Matthews 5) Michael Craven

SWF Lockdown Card - November 25th!
Mr. S£im Citrus replied to the.weej's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Huh! I guess it's a good thing I didn't actually have time to do that promo I wanted to do for Storm; it would have looked pretty silly right now... -
Wow... I hope nobody was expecting Orlando to break their losing streak tonight.

PDA = Public Display of Affection. Unless, of course, you're ravenbomb, in which case, you may be talking about a Personal Digital Assistant... -
Actually, I just wanted to see how man different interpretations on this I get. The reason for this will be revealed later. Two totally different answers so far. This is the correct one.

I thought you were married, Marney; what would your wife say? -
As of today, 20 November 2003, Wildchild (118 days) has surpassed Justice and Rule (117 days) for third place on the all-time longest title reign list. Now I've got to beat Janus on Lockdown, so I can make a run on Fallout's record.

.... I can't be the only person here old enough to remember when schools used to have rules against PDA, hetero and otherwise. I don't think she should have been suspended, although I don't think an afternoon's detention for making an ass of herself during lunch is unreasonable. And what's with that English assignment, anyway? Is that what teachers are doing nowadays? Teaching children to become social dissidents? -
Wow, Show and WC went to the same school... Of course, Show is rather older than WC...

Aside from the fact that we're both 5'10"and black, we both like the Kings, and we both think that Molly Holly is hot, WC isn't patterned after my real life in any respect. There's no aspect of my life that is reflected in WC.

What is your real name? Dominic Remmington LeCroix ('Nic,' for short) Where do you live? My official home of record is still in Morgan's Bluff, but I have an apartment in Sacramento, CA, that I go to when I'm not on the road. What's your marital satatus and do you have kids? Single. I'm a little young to settle down, but if I found Miss Right... Who's your best friend outside of kayfabe? My best friend in the business is Johnny, although I'm also friendly with Ced Ordonez, since I see him around town. Outside of wrestling, my best friend is Joaquin, from back in Morgan's Bluff. Who's your favourite WWE Wrestler Molly Holly. Smart, talented, and absolutely GORGEOUS! Who's you favourite Other wrestler (US Indies or Japan) Super Crazy, no question. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be wrestling right now. I also enjoy Dean Malenko's work. What's your favourite match to watch? Rey Misterio, Jr. vs. Eddy Guererro at Halloween Havoc '97; cruiserweight wrestling at its finest. Who's your favourite Band or singer? Hikaru Utada What's your favourite album? "Aijuswanaseing," by Music Soulchild What's your favourite song? "Addicted to You (Up-in-Heaven Mix)," by Hikaru Utada What's your favourite film? The Crow Which sporting teams/franchises do you support? Sacramento Kings What sports do you play? Swimming, basketball and gymnastics (if that qualifies as a sport). and finally... if you weren't a wrestler what WOULD you be? Well, if I hadn't gone back to the circus, I'd probably be a physical therapist (I majored in sports therapy at the University of Florida).

Crow brought out the flag. You... said stuff... -
Don't worry, Pete; your jobbers will still have a job over the holidays. I'll put 'em to work... please update the title history...

:: does spit take :: That was hilarious!

He was viewed as a good coach because he went straight from the booth to his first coaching job, and took a team who's most talented players were a rookie Mike Miller and a then-unproven Ben Wallace to the playoffs in 2001. Unfortunately for Doc, that set the bar too impossibly high for him. I think that if Giricek and Garrity were healthy, things would be a little better; at least then, they'd have another scorer. As it is, with Gooden playing way below the level he played at last season, McGrady's the only guy they have who can put the ball in the hole.

Well... I guess the secret's out...

A2A OFFICIAL COMMENT THREAD
Mr. S£im Citrus replied to Rawknight's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
I'd like to think of myself as at least a little more over than Crash Holly relative to my "place" in the fed, but... eh... I decline to comment on the "holding myself down" statement, on the grounds that I've expressed my feelings regarding the titles in the fed about a hundred times already, and if you don't know, just catch my exit line in chat once in awhile. Random thoughts about the show: - I thought the X promo was well done and, apart from the fact that I think that the fed is a little too heel-intensive right now, I liked it. - It occurs to me that in busying myself in kissing Annie's ass, I haven't been showing Janus the proper amount of respect as a writer. Slow wrote a very good match that kept me thoroughly entertained, and is going into this title match on a hot streak. Figures that someone poised to beat me for this belt would come along just when I'm starting to get to like it. - Va'aiga, it's a good thing that your promo was so good, because you totally killed my HOLT Report. I can only imagine how obnoxious he would have been if they had won... - Dace scares me. That is all. I think you've taken that "Horrorcore" thing a little too far... (unfinished thought: I hope nobody in CC pays particular attention to the fact that most of the fed is much more violent than the reigning Hardcore Champion...) - You really like doing that "LAAAARRRIIIOOOOTOOOH" thing, don't you? I don't know that could be that creative as to come up with different adjectives for the same move every match, nevermind four times in one match. - Seeing signs in the crowd is always a nice touch. - Is that zipper thing X does part of his schtick, becuase I thought he was going to strip, or something... - The Mak is Back! Back the Mack! And, oh yeah: first PPV win ever for the ol' Dub Cee! (Y) (Y) -
It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling that Ejiro considers WC "The Devil He Knows." And, BTW, didn't you used to be 27?
-
I wanted to try and give this a little more flair, with it being a PPV and all, and I don’t know if I succeeded, but here goes, anyway. BTW, let the record reflect that I was going to have Kylie Minogue sing “Advance Australia Fair,” so you can thank Va’aiga and his whacked-out pre-match promo for her absence. Come to think of it, I almost decided not to do this thing because that promo caused me to have to shitcan about half of the stuff I planned to put in here. But that’s okay, though, because it was so kick-ass! ================================== SWF Sunday Night Frost and HOLT report November 16, 2003 Sydney, Australia at Sydney Super Dome Report by Tracey Bruner of Bremerton, WA, Smartmarks.com reader Frost: - Spike beat Xcalibur in 6:55 with the Saint’s Demise. - Kevin Cole conducted an in-ring interview with Team Heel. Erek Taylor dominated most of the interview, talking about what he planned to do to Strangler and then how he was going to make a statement by eliminating Flesher as well. This led to a brief confrontation between Taylor and Ejiro Fasaki, where they started to argue about each other’s championship pedigree, and then Michael Craven chimed in about how HE felt he should be champion. It looked like they were going to break down and fight, and the crowd was really getting into that idea, but Judge Hearford stepped in as the voice of reason, and reminded them each what their goals were for tonight. The rest of the interview was pretty much by the numbers. - CIA beat Jay Dawg in 8:36 with Air Canada. This was a solid match, but with nothing spectacular. - Ben Hardy did a backstage interview with Terrance Bailey, who also got a big home crowd pop. He spoke about how he was during his first run in the fed, and admitted to having a few problems that he had to deal with. He thanked the friends he had who made sure that he got the help he needed, and swore that he would be different this time around. When asked about his match against Annie, he said that he was going to give her as good as he had. He said he had nothing but respect for the Ichiban, but that he wanted to regain the Hardcore Title, and that if he had to go through Annie, he would. He also mentioned that he had planned something special to say to the live crowd when he goes out for his match. Pretty solid interview overall. - Crow and Dante Crane beat Bemani Cross Wizards in 13:22 with Total Elimination. Crow came down to the ring waving the Australian flag and got a strong “home crowd” pop. - They did another video package, covering the whole PPV to close Frost. Ashes 2 Ashes: - Cyclone Comet sang the Star Spangled Banner. - Dace borrowed a replica of the ICTV title after the match and held it up over his head after the match. He also got a good “Trinity” chant going. - The crowd worked up a good “WANKER” chant for Matheson as he and Matthews were leaving the ring. - Prior to the Main Event, Funyon directed everyone’s attention to the Skybox and recognized IGNWF Hall of Fame Superstars Axis and Sacred. They stood up and accepted a five-minute standing ovation. Best Pops. 1) Team Face 2) Axis and Sacred 3) Crow 4) Janus 5) The HVille Thugg Loudest Boos 1) Va’aiga (by FAR) 2) Ejiro Fasaki (after eliminating Flesher) 3) Erek Taylor 4) James Matheson 5) John Duran

... Aaaaand I'm spent! Actually, I don't know how big the whole match is, but if everyone else wrote as much as I did...
