  1. They are supposed to still be doing Clerks animated. He said there may be more than one and they will all be straight to video just for the fans of the cartoon. There was this little clip that they put up as a sample of some of the animation work. It's not something that's actually part of the movie. http://viewaskew.com/clerkstest/
  2. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...erks_sequel&e=3 So this is what Kevin has been calling his "small project" he's been working on. I'm sure there will be a lot of people who don't like the whole idea of it, but I for one am very excited about the movie.
  3. My main question in all of this is what about the many college football players who have also played minor league baseball at the same time. Minor league baseball is a professional sport and the players are paid to play. What's the difference?
  4. Thinking about it now, that may have been the easiest game for the US. Spain have some good players, but they rely more on the inside game than the outside which more closely resembles the NBA. Spain didn't hit the three or defend it much at all the whole game. I believe the US shot over 50% with Spain going 5/25 or something crazy like that.
  5. I don't remember him actually being in WCW, but I remember seeing him on those FX toughman shows and they'd say he was in WCW. He wore like half a pair of pants or something. There was one leg that went the whole way down then the other leg wasn't even there.
  6. Actually they played Trapped Under Ice in 2000 in Chicago.
  7. Turbonegro-The Age of Pamparius
  8. I'd buy one if it was $45 cheaper, available in sizes other than Medium and XXL, not number 69, and for a guy who was actually going to play.
  9. I haven't actually been to the concert, but I have seen video, heard audio, and read the setlists. Their playing and stage presense is as good as it has ever been. The sets usually consist of 2 songs from St. Anger then all old stuff. I think Fuel is the only song from Load or Reload that is played often. They have been busting out some more rare stuff recently too. I think it's well worth going to see them still. I will soon be buying tickets for the Pittsburgh show coming up next month. First time they've been here in 6 years. Godsmack are still on the tour. I hate them. I'll probably show up when they're almost done playing.
  10. I don't know how I managed to miss the whole first season of this show. The commercials really didn't do a good job of advertising the show. I've been hearing about it a ton this season so I've been watching every episode. I'm not sure what changed between seasons.
  11. I never heard of that A-Z show but I decided to watch today since Guns N Roses were on. I made it all the way to E. There's this team of 2 guys who try to be funny together, I guess it has to be because they were terrible on their own, but I can't imagine how they could be worse than they are as a team. They were trying to act everything out and it was just horrible. The only good thing on VH1 is Behind the Music. The first set of I Love the 80s episodes was alright but they've killed that idea. I saw a movie on there about Def Leppard one night last week at like 2 AM and it was pretty funny. Problem was I don't think it was supposed to be.
  12. Artie Lange said on Howard Stern this morning that Norm MacDonald is being considered. That would be pretty awesome.
  13. I don't know where exactly this is coming from, but I've been hearing on ESPN radio that Travis Henry is now demanding a trade from Buffalo because he doesn't want to split time with Willis McGahee. Anyone else hear this? I doubt a trade would come in for him because first it's the NFL and big trades don't happen(other than Portis for Bailey) and second teams have already done a ton of work with their systems.
  14. That Lakers-Celtics trade is pretty weird, first Fox says he may retire, now it looks like Payton may not want to play there: http://msn.foxsports.com/story/2663502
  15. Should be interesting to see what happens. I wonder if Stewart even wants to leave the Daily Show. He's already getting pretty good money with the Daily Show and he seems to enjoy it. He gets chances to do different things with the Daily Show than he would with the Late Late Show.
  16. All I could find on the site is Fall 2004 as the date they give. Also, it says it will be first shown on cable TV, but does not mention a channel. It isn't supposed to be in theaters ever. The DVD with extra features is just listed as first half 2005.
  17. That list is just people who were interviewed. Bands like Godsmack and Disturbed are just going to be talking about thrash music and how it was part of their lives and stuff. Megadeth are going to be mentioned a lot in the movie, but none of them are interviewed.
  18. I thought Kilborn was pretty good when I watched it last night. I missed the first 10 minutes or so which from what I heard is what people didn't like of the show. He was always my favorite guy on there. I'll try and check out the rest of them.
  19. I guess the Chiefs aren't big fans of Lesnar. http://www.kcchiefs.com/news_article.asp?I...XDKDI5XGJWMFZ7N
  20. That Jim Mora interview was possibly my favorite ever. The best part of the Lasorda one was after he kind of flips out about the question he seems to be kind of apologizing then he just goes right back to it at the end.
  21. The offensive lineman who shoved Lesnar to start the little shoving match was totally away from the play when it happened and ran over with his sole intention being to shove Brock. Any player in the league would have started something after it. I guess Brock just gets blamed for it because he was a wrestler.
  22. It does that for me when I'm not even online. There's crazy slowdown every time it snows.
  23. I'm going to officially take that back after the Germany game. Officially.
  24. Of course I ended up reading this moments after selecting him as a #2 QB for my fantasy team. I thought Quincy could put up some good numbers this year since they have a solid WR group. So now it's Testaverde then Henson on their depth chart? Haha.

    New CKY Album

Vern has never had anything to do with the albums, so it doesn't matter in terms of what the CD sounds like. Deron plays all the bass except on 2 or 3 songs where Chad did it. There is no word on who their next live bass player will be, but they say they are looking for someone who can play better than Vern. They've been recording for the last several months. Release was originally said to be late summer, but was then pushed back to late fall, now they say maybe the end of this year, or at the latest early next year. Deron has said that as of last week they had 7 tracks done musically and have 3 more to do. With the 7 songs the album comes in at 30 minutes which means it will be longer than IDR since the average track so far is over 4 minutes. Lyrics have been written for a few songs and only a few have been recorded. They are what comes last in the recording after they know for sure where the song is going. They have been expirementing with all kinds of new and different amps and effects as well to keep the CKY sound moving forward. Announced/Rumored song titles are these. The band has mentioned all of them at one time or another.: All Power to Slaves Dropped and Doublecrossed(Left over from IDR) Woe is Me(Left over from IDR) First Things First 5 Years Later The Butchers Hand When the Tables Turn Beyond Repair Hold Your Breath Tripled Manic State(a continuation to the idea of Inhuman Creation Station) Apparently some of the titles have changed since they've been mentioned and it is unknown if they are doing anything with Woe is Me or Dropped and Doublecrossed. One song on the album is supposed to use the acoustic jam that Deron does at the end of the Haggard Behind the Scenes, I don't know if it's one of those or a different song completely. There will be 10 tracks though. One thing that has had me very interested is that Chad is very excited about soloing on this album. He has said that he and Deron will both be doing the solos. I don't know what to expect from Deron, but I know Chad is a long time shred fan and have heard him do some great stuff. He loves all the old stuff from Shrapnel records and one of his big influences is Paul Gilbert's work with Racer X. I don't know if he'll be trying anything like that on the albums, but it could work.
