Whats the record for comeback after "retirement"
Jebus replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in General Wrestling
^ Hennig came back the following night on Nitro after losing that "retirement match" -
from tnawrestling.com: Bill Banks column - "A side note from the Team 3D “burial” segment – from the “Just How Creepy Is James Mitchell” department…following the shoot, Mitchell couldn’t pass up the chance to lie down in the casket and have his photo taken for his “collection”. With Halloween just around the corner, this is the maniacal manager’s favorite time of the year. Eric Young, on the other hand, wasn’t sticking around after the shoot – he’s still convinced the place was haunted by a ghost named “Katie” who apparently isn’t very fond of wrestlers."

I just watched part of the show also, and the counter/reversal in the match was a nice touch. Unfortunately, it seems to foreshadow that the interminable OJ/Benoit feud will continue *even longer*, which I can't understand. A pleasant surprise for me was the 8man tag match, and the fact that they now have five decent tag teams on their hands. Between MNM, the Mexicools, Regal/Burchill, the Shane twins and the temporary LOD 2005, they could actually get a decent enough tag division up and running again for the first time since before WM 18. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Those weren't the Shane Twins though...I believe it was Chad and Tank Toland BTW, the Boogeyman was charismatic in an "early 90's Ultimate Warrior promo" way!

I'm watching the 2nd hour of SD now and don't worry Mr. Kennedy makes a small appearance Hooray for Fantasy Points!
-
I chose SmackDown even though that's the one I don't watch anymore due to Friday nights being when you go out and hang out. Since I have nothing to do or watch on Monday, I watch Raw although I wish it were SD with Benoit, Christian, JBL, Rey, Eddie and Batista. RAW has Angle and...that's it...oh wait, Trish is nice to look at

I've heard raves about the Dudleys funeral segment that airs on this coming Saturday's TNA show credit: Meltzer ----- They described it on TNA's message board, it sounds hilarious and it even recieved a "That was awesome" chant...black hockey sticks!

It looks good to me... As for what I'd change, I'd have included Bret vs. 123 Kid and Canadian Stampede somehow and replaced the Hakushi match with the RAW one. I won't complain about the WrestleMania repeats cause if Bret does commentary on him vs. Owen (WM10) and vs. Austin (WM13), it's worth the space its taking up. I'm glad One Night Only is on there cause I ain't buying the Taker DVD and Bret obviously enjoyed working with him and, if one match with Taker had to be included, thank God it's this one.

Looks like 2 jam-packed shows coming in the next two weeks... Comments: - Raven will do something at BFG! - I feel bad for The Naturals as they lose the titles on their first appearance...I thought they'd save it for the PPV (maybe Team 3D won't be in Japan after all?)
-
Cause the WWE invents and owns you apparantly.
-
Since I recently re-watched it, I'm partial to Angle vs. Jannetty
-
Taker should really consider retiring the casket match since he's like 2 for 10 in them.
-
Well, there's a reason The Outlaw was changed to Kip James (hint: WWE)...TNA has already trademarked "The James Gang" so, if they ever go through with teaming them together, there's your team name.
-
I think Joe's debut will be next week during the Daniels deal...since it will be a surprise, it's good that they showed his intro video this week. I'm with you on The Naturals and Raven though.
-
Don't forget that it's a 15 minute time limit dealie so I predict Daniels will beat the first 2 then, with just a little time left, Samoa Joe comes out as the third one and Daniels will not beat him within the limit...or he might even outright lose to Joe. Styles said he knew just who he was gonna pick with a smirk...there ya go. The first two might be Sonjay and Shark Boy.

Doesn't matter anymore...RDS (the channel) shows Spike tv's Impact 1 week late. Since they had nothing to show last Saturday, they put on the 3 way but now it's just regular Impact. BTW, tonight's show felt like it was 50% commercials...c'mon Spike!

On SummerSlam 91, DiBiase vs. Virgil is clipped

It is sad that WCW with Nitro pulled off a 3-hour show better than WWE...tonight was way too long and dull and crappy.
-
Is Hart still with TNA?
-
When Nitro was 3 hours, the first hour might have had 1 match and 45 minutes of hype for the rest of the show. Dusty Rhodes! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know that but at least, at 2 1/2 hour mark, Nitro would have had 5 matches by then even with the first hour of hype
-
2 hours and 30 mins in... 3 matches Even Nitro wasn't this bad
-
Dudleys will not be at BFG due to an All Japan commitment...therefore you might as well put it as a big match on free tv
