Courtney Love says she tried to make her recent drugs overdose "fun" for her 11-year-old daughter. The Hole singer was arrested earlier this month after becoming violent outside a house in Los Angeles. Hours after she was released by police, she fell ill from an accidental overdose of the narcotic OxyContin. Love, 39, said her daughter Frances Bean made her green tea as they waited at their Beverly Hills home for an ambulance to arrive. "That's the only time my daughter has ever, ever, ever pitched in on one of my little crises," Love said. "I made it fun. I said it was going to be gross and I was going to have to make myself throw up but it was going to be OK," she told People magazine's November 3 edition. Days later Frances was put in the care of Cobain's mother Wendy O'Connor and a bitter custody battle has since erupted. Love said: "I'm not on some downward spiral. I'm not on narcotics. I'm fine. I just want my daughter back." In another interview, Love revealed the battle for Frances was becoming increasingly hostile. Love has enjoyed a good relationship with O'Connor since Cobain shot himself in 1994 but it soured after her arrest.

LONDON, England (Reuters) -- Six British schoolboys were rushed to the hospital after taking the erection-enhancing drug Viagra at lunchtime for a dare, the school said Thursday. Paramedics were called after a fellow student told teachers about the 13-year-olds' prank, a spokesperson for Forest School in Winnersh, in southern England, said. The local education authority said they think the student took the pills from home and brought them to the all-boys school where he shared them with five friends. The school has a no drugs policy and the students likely will face punishment, especially the student who brought the pills into school, the education authority said. The Sun newspaper quoted a source at the school as saying: "By the time the afternoon lessons began, there was no hiding what they had done." Paramedics took the six squirming boys to the nearby Royal Berkshire Hospital, where they were monitored until the effects wore off. BOSTON -- Boston Red Sox manager Grady Little said he is not sure he wants to be back with the team next season, according to a published report. Little, second-guessed for keeping Pedro Martinez on the mound in the team's 6-5, 11th-inning loss to the New York Yankees in Game 7 of the AL Championship Series after Martinez struggled in the seventh and eighth innings, will not be surprised if he's fired. "I'm prepared for the likelihood," Little told The Boston Globe. "I am not sure that I want to manage that team. That's how I felt when I drove out of town." Little said he has not heard from the team's management since returning to his North Carolina home. "All I know is that when I left there, there was some hesitation," he said. "That's all I need to know." The club has an option on Little's contract for next season. In his two years as Red Sox manager, they were 93-69 and 95-67, and qualified for the playoffs this season for the first time since 1999. "Right now I am disappointed that evidently some people are judging me on the results of one decision I made -- not the decision, but the results of the decision," he said. "Less than 24 hours before, those same people were hugging and kissing me. If that's the way they operate, I'm not sure I want to be part of it."
