  1. It doesnt come in uncut?
  2. The pride of Wilbraham, MA
  3. there's a bar near me in Allston, Ma called the Sunset Grille and Tap. They have 185 taps and 400 beers overall. It's insane. I like to laugh at people that go in there and order a Bud.
  4. Let's see: Redhook Blonde Magic Hat #9 Sam Adams Boston Ale Smithwick's Harpoon Summer Harpoon IPA Guiness Bass Belhaven Scottish Ale Guys, do yourselves a favor. Weed out the Miller/Bud/Coors shit. If you're going to kill your liver, do it with quality.
  5. "I've got a bad feeling about this..."
  6. That particular brand of Baldwin is a born-again so i would assume he took the GOP route. You guys can have Steven Tyler. Maybe he'll tie scarves around the mics at MSG. Yik-gik-gik-gik-gow!~
  7. Probably the most powerful documentary I've ever seen. Doesn't pander to either side in the Isreali/Palestinian conflict... shows that BOTH sides have their problems... and a real heartbreaking shocker of an ending... I couldn't believe it... anyone else see it?
  8. What? Easy's on Angel Dust?? Nuh uh...
  9. It's 5.5 games now. If the Red Sox were to play .600 ball, the Yankees would need to play .462 ball. Of course, if the Red Sox were to play .600, they would win 94 games. It'll take more than that to win the division. We do have two head-to-head series, and a sweep by the Sox could change the complexion of the race very quickly. So who knows? I would say the odds are 80% Yankees, 20% Sox. And since NO team has ever erased a 14.5 game deficit, I'm going out on a limb and saying the Cardinals have this locked up. alk- what was the Sox tally in good ol 78... you know the Bucky Bleeping Dent fiasco? I wiped the number out of my head, but am now curious- how far up were the Sox over the Yankees?
  10. Uh, you mean Mo Vaughn? You mean Mo Vaughn, the same guy who fell down a flight of dugout stairs never to quite be the same again? You mean Mo Vaughn, the guy who hasn't played in a couple of seasons despite still being paid? Yeah, I'm sure the Sox miss him a whole lot. We miss him. For comedy's sake. Jeff Bagwell!!!! Lew Ford David Eckstein that guy that pitches for Houston now... some Texan guy... had 330 or so career wins... he was in his twilight of his career a few years ago... what's his name? Someone help me here... And don't forget that Mo injured himself at his first game in anaheim. Had he stayed in Boston the injury never would have happend. So I guess we miss the player that Mo could have been had he not been so greedy and decided to stay in Boston. But I guess shit happens for a reason, and Mo will join the likes of Fred Lynn in the 'what coulda beens'.
  11. Wasn't it Phillips who missed the block that led to Steve Young's final concussion, prompting his retirement? What did he do in St Louis that made a name for him as a total dick? and speaking of former NFL fuckups, who was that guy that played for Minnesota and then miami... he was cut after trying to off himself...?
  12. No more posting for you! I saw these guys last Wednesday. Fun show.
  13. let's all meet up at The Model in allston. It's even mentioned in an analcunt song.
  14. A state that has a NASCAR track is disqualified as a hippy state. MA and VT would however qualify as hippy states, and neither has split votes. *leaves to find a slut of his own to bang*
  15. Kotz. I live in the city. I'll be happy to poop on a girl's step, or hell even the girl herself for you. I won't even ask for money, but if you wanna pay me in beer, that would be good. What part of the city does she live in? As for Boston, some neighborhoods are better than others. Personally, I like to hang out in Allston-Brighton and JP. A lot of locals bitch about A-B being a college kid slum, but that's ok with me. Bars and restaurants are a lot cheaper here, there are quite a few good clubs with live music (Common Ground and Harper's Ferry to name two) and if you like drunken college sluts you'll need to pay The Kells a visit. There are a few good dives in Allston too (The Model and Silhouettes) and a ton of ethnic food places to wet your whistle. JP (Jamaica Plain) is the artsy/bohemian section of town. Southie (South Boston) is the home of many irish immigrants. The North End is the mostly-italian section. The streets are really narrow and the buildings are on top of another, give it a real old-world feel. Kenmore Square/Back Bay/Fenway is fun too. This is where you'll find Fenway Park, Landsdowne Street among other fun places. Also: neighboring towns like Brookline, Cambridge, Somerville and Quincy can be fun. There's always something to do around here. i love Boston. Also, re: Barry Bonds, if he hates Boston so much, why does he send his son to boarding school here?
  16. For Rollins-era, I think I'd take In My Head over either.
  17. Northern- where were you seated for the shows? Was that your first time seeing the "lawn seats"? I actually sat in them for The Cure... 50 bucks for a "lawn seat". and what's a tweaker and MDMA?
  18. I went to the show last night at Great Woods. What a fun, fun concert. I didn't even indulge in any extra-curriculars and still had the most fun at any show I've ever been to. My first (and probably last) Phish show.
  19. Like Michael Bishop? If you just have 2nd, 3rd and 4th stringers playing, how can you really gauge their abilities?
  20. Damn, my whole college was haunted. Makes sense in retrospect.
  21. Yeah Bob Dylan had a joke of a career. So did Public Enemy. And Jello Biafra. and Woody Guthrie.
  22. so, do Mogwai not do any vocals in any of their songs?
  23. I think the best Fugazi stuff is In on the Killtaker. Repeater and 13 Songs would be good second choices.
