It was Rob Van Dams fault. He suggested it to Bischoff, and Bischoff took him up on it. Shouldn't Rob have been the heel then? Ah well, whatever. I'll choose Austin's face turn after the Alliance. Crowd reaction wise, it was fine. But it was just so random that one week he's this traitor that all fans should hate, but then he's a face everyone should love again the next week.

I'm finding myself disappointed in shows lately, for sure. But there are usually some enjoyable moments, even if it is just the little things. I enjoy practically everything Jericho does because he has an uncanny ability of making me care. Benoit wrestling anyone but Flair is still entertaining, even if it is a short match with Rob Conway. I'm interested with the IC division with Jericho, now Micheals, Christian, Edge when he returns, and hopefully someone like Benjamin. Trish is an awesome women's heel. Come to think of it, the heel women are good on Raw, it's the faces that blow. On Smackdown, I like the London/Kidman feud, only for the fact I get to see London more. If they keep Rob and Rey together as a tag team, I like that team alot. They are very fun together and I love how it's not always the same person who's hte face-in-peril. They switch it up because both can take (not necessarly sell though) a beating well. So yeah, as a whole it's been fairly disappointing. And it's not good that I have no interest in the main event programs. I mean, Orton's alright, but he doesn't make me want to watch him. That's the problem, and it's been said already: lack of character. And emotional investment.

No Mercy PPV.. Looks Good/Bad?.. Discuss It Here.
CanadianChick replied to natey2k4's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm not getting the PPV, but I did watch Heat. Man, that was an awful interview Kidman did early on in the show. He showed zero emotion. I knew he was a bad actor and all, but that was pathetic. -
215. Tony Kozina (well not exactly local, but he comes up here so often.) 298. Vance Nevada 300. Scotty Mac 389. Dropkick Murphy 413. Major Hardway Not a bad showing by the Pacific Northwest. And it's all pretty good wrestlers too.

The best part was the look on Flair's face. Whoever wrote that segment (especially Rob's part) should be laughed at. Or Rob should be laughed at for flubbing his line. It was just terrible.

RVD's always the mystery partner. Always. Though I am surprised it was Eddie who did the job, not Rob. I thought that since Rob is in a lower profile match and all.

OAO Why the FUCK is Carmella still on my TV Thread
CanadianChick replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
I personally find her annoying, but Carmella's non-existant personality isn't much better. If it makes you feel better, I don't find her funny/sexy/cute/whatever either! -
Actually, it was more "The baby won't be the only one who dies" and Kane was refering to Gene Snisky.

OAO Why the FUCK is Carmella still on my TV Thread

Well, if you know a 22 year old attractive female personally, and she's a bitch, then you can hate her. As for Carmella, let's hope it was a one time thing, shall we? -
The OAO "Thank GOD the Diva Search is over Thread"

I see your point Rando, but will the fans truly vote for Benjamin over Benoit? Benoit has been World Champ recently, and Benjamin has been injured. I don't see how fans would choose Benjamin over Benoit. That being said, any of those two would be great for storyline purpose. Edge wouldn't make any sense, and HBK/HHH is played out. -

Ouch! A random chick got more negative reactions than the champ? Whatta burn! -
I was wondering why there was no Lita interview. When a Lita interview is hyped, don't dash my hopes and not show one! That's just cruel! Seriously, I'm sure it was an honest mistake. There would be no way they'd intentionally do something like that.

A word on Gene: Ape. As in, he looks like one. Fairly uninteresting Raw. I do find it funny that Christian is called Captain Charisma seeing as he's the cure for insomia when he's in the ring. Seeing as Orton isn't on the list anymore of contenders, I'm guessing that Benoit will be the chosen one. Even if it isn't rigged, they'll make the focus on him until voting time comes. With Micheal's dicking around in the IC/mid card picture, and Edge doing the same when not injured, it has to be Benoit. -
Anyone have details on this? Seems to have slipped my mind.

Notes from Taboo Tuesday Press Conference
CanadianChick replied to strummer's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm confused why Micheals and Edge are on there. Unless the same people are used for the IC options, minus the person who wins the poll. -
At least he knew that his GM character was awful too.
-
Fans don't like wusses, justified or not. Therefore, Kidman's heel.
-
Heh, the first report I read said that London beat Booker. Thought that was a bit off. I'm still a little surprised they had Booker cheat, and then Paul punk out Booker. I'd think they'd be pushing London soon if they are protecting him somewhat like that. A gun? Um, alright.
-
But it really doesn't matter who's feuding with whom, for the purpose of this PPV. It's what the fans want, period. And since Jericho won't be an option for a World Title opponent, and same with HHH with the IC belt, even if the fans wanted to see Jericho/HHH, they couldn't. I'm just wondering how they'll divide up the contenders for each belt. Like, if they put HBK as an option for IC, and Shelton as an option for World, does that make sense? It does witht the direction of the story, but HBK is much more established than Benjamin.
-
I think it'd be kinda cool to have Jericho an option and having to defend the IC belt. Hell, have Triple H as an option for the IC belt too. But, I don't see it happening. I just knew that Jericho wouldn't even be an option. At least this way makes semi-sense though, since he's got his own title to defend.
-
I agree he's quite entertaining on the mic, but in the ring? He's so boring. And it's not his look that's the problem. He has the same look as Orton practically, so that's neither here nor there. His current character is what's the problem. He's like heel Jericho, except he can't incorporate a serious part to his character like Jericho could. He's the cocky guy who really isn't that good, but thinks he is. Not a character a World Champ should have. Plus, he's portrayed as a pussy.
-
Statement: Soon, they'll get rid of the Cruiser division and just let all the cruisers wrestle for the tag belts.
-
Rebuttal: I would hunt down and kill any of the "Fab Five" that touched Edge. Oh, I kid! Or do I?

Just for statistics sake: AL SNOW CHRIS BENOIT CHRIS JERICHO JAZZ LITA MICK FOLEY RHYNO RODNEY MACK (I think he has, right?) STEVEN RICHARDS TAJIRI That's 10 Raw guys. BUBBA RAY DUDLEY D-VON DUDLEY DAWN MARIE EDDIE GUERRERO NUNZIO PAUL HEYMAN REY MYSTERIO ROB VAN DAM SPIKE DUDLEY TAZZ That's 10 Smackdown guys. So 20 people in WWE were employed by ECW at some point. That's an impressive number.
