... Darko?
-
The Pistons have proven that home court doesn't effect them, and that heart breaking losses don't phaze them. The Lakers have yet to prove that at all in this series. If anything, if the Lakers win tonight I see them failing back into their "bad attitude" and getting the shit beat out of them ala Game 3.

It's probably motorized and has a defibber just in case the fun is just 'too much' for him.

Absolutely, man. It's all good.

You know, a suggestion for future cards: Rather than having just a promo show, look back to the SJL past and bring back a few legendary jobbers and just have a few throwaway jobber matches to bring up some heat and fill in the show with some action while using them to build heat and regain heat and launch new storylines. Personally, doing a jobber match or two just to allow people to get a nice, heat-building squash every now and then would be neat to try.

Hey, remember that time we established an SWF...

Ah, I was friggin' KING of rumors. Here's my original column. I might start it up again since I've been getting more and more time as of late. My old rumored Genesis Card... Sadly, I can't find my famous promo with Janus and Mel Gibson and coral sodomization. -
Eh, I guess I see it more as him painting the rebels in a positive light (The reference to minutemen obviously comparing them to our own history and try to make them seem more sympathetic). I see it more as "I want to see the shit hit the fan so I can say 'I told you so'". I don't exactly think he despises America, but I don't find it too far-fetched to think he'd subtly root for the opposition just so he could have more ammo against Bush.

Did anyone else think that he looked like Aziz, the bad guy from True Lies with that hairdo on Sunday?
-
Ah, darnit, figured I'd get part of it wrong. Thanks, Marney.

Let us not forget that this is the country whose ambassador to the Middle East was once quoted as saying "We aren't going to get involved in World War III because of some pissant jews"... and allowed him to stay at his post. You know, if ANYONE in America had said that, regardless of party, they would have been GONE. PERIOD.
-
Doesn't seem that he's exactly, uh, rooting for the Americans here. Seems more like he's giddy that some of the Iraqis are resisting us. It's not that hard to get that impression, Tyler. Hey, remember that massive second Tet Offensive? No? Neither did I... GI 1: Hey, Bob, two jews walk into a bar... Gotta love that claim. I believe we've shown them in hoods before and them simply laughing is, uh, hardly torture. But hey, if he wants to try and take credit for it, good for him...

Bold prediction: Game 5 gets a 16 share T.V. rating with everyone tuning in to see if LA can hold out against what seems like the inevitable or if Detroit can finish the job at home.

YES! YES! YES! PRAISE SHEED HE SHOWED UP AND PROVED HIS WORTH TONIGHT!! :D :D
-
Hold out! Hold out, guys! You can do this!
-
This is way too close for my liking. If the Pistons can pull it here, though, I think they can get it in 5.
-
Whoa. That looked close to a tech for Sheed... Edit: Nm, was a double tech.
-
"It's too late! The fix is in and the noodles are boiling, boiling I tell's ya!" And both teams are hangin' in there. Neither team has really pulled away for a good period of time...

As a trumpet player who has played "Taps" twice for my town on memorial day, that was the most beautiful rendition I've ever heard of the song. And Nancy rubbing the coffin is making me choke up...
-
Take that sentiment and quadruple it. Darko is a really... awkward player and really doesn't look comfortable on teh court, so when the game is in any way competitive, he sits on the bench. It has to be a rout when he comes in, which is why you'll hear "Darko!" chants in blowout games. He's earned the nickname "The Human Victory Cigar" because of it.

DARKO!!!!!!! BWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Or the Pistons are just smothering them with good defense and great offense and the Lakers aren't a good enough team or simply lack the heart to come back. The Lakers are a great team, but they can collapse like a house of cards when the going gets tough.

But it's so irrelevant that it's not even funny. We gave them a token amount of old chemicals and some funding. Meanwhile we have France building a nuclear reactor for them capable of creating nuclear weapons and sending them modern planes, Germany supplying them with a decent amount of equipment and materials that can be used in creating chemical and biological weapons, and Russia who supplied them with tanks, guns, missiles, and various other weapons. How are we even close to that level of collusion?

So are you legally retarded or...? Just let "mommie" type out the response for us... Those elements have hated the Israelis for simply existing, not because they do this sort of thing. Jesus, if Osama were killed, I'm guessing you'd respond with "Hell, let's just keep pissing off the Arab world with our political assassinations!" And actually on topic: We should really start keeping a running tally of how long before the next attack on the Hamas leadership occurs. We could even start taking bets!
