  1. ...the living shit? And nobody got my BASEketball reference? Blasphemy!
  2. Because...it's the TNA folder? Plus, if you want to go ahead and make gimmicks, please do so, but for the sake of sanity, don't do it and pimp TSM afterwards. The last thing we need is an invasion of those idiots here like what happened when me and Mike told the posters at TNS that it was better here.
  3. No you don't, you love Taco Bell!
  4. Nah. I'm currently arguing with my girlfriend because whenever I begin proving a point about something she might not understand or is entirely wrong about, she calls me an idiot. Yeah. We got a whole lot of issues to fucking work out. Jizzmopper.
  5. ...you're such a fucking queerbot sometimes, man.
  6. No. No queer-ass "heel faction." If we go there, we act the same as we do here, only we go to prove our points and that's it. Not friendly TNA banter, not constant anti-TNA trolling, just prove our points and en masse so TNA (who DOES view the forum) can see what we, those that refuse to be blind, want in the product. ...wow, I just sounded like Johnny Black from The Anarchist Cookbook...
  7. So yeah. You should all do the same. Might get our voices heard in that mass cesspool of TNA asskissery.
  8. And we're not talking NEWS. We're talking OPINION.
  9. I must say, the usage of my ugly mug made me laugh a little bit. Though, I do wonder...do any of you know what the term "scoops" actually refers to?
  10. Actually, I'm greatly entertained by all of this. Banky, I love you.
  11. This interview was a pretty good read, because it delved a little deeper into the surroundings of TNA's turning on The Heel Section more than anything else written about it (namely a short paragraph-or-two blurb in various reports, and Borash's bashing of them regularly in his short-lived online column). Like it or not, The Heel Section was a big part of TNA's early days, so much so that TNA even acknowledged their worth by printing Heel Section t-shirts and selling them through their site.
  12. Too bad you're one of the WORSE alternatives out there, eh? I've seen local indy feds that don't have the sheer amount of talent that the TNA roster has put on better shows. How? TNA can't even keep their CORE fanbase. The only people that still watch are the ones doing recaps, and the ones that are bored on Friday afternoons. If the only word spread is that TNA offers past-their-prime former main eventers (some of which were never actually a draw, but somehow everybody thinks they were) and buried talent that are utilized better everywhere else, go for it.
  13. That takes care of the wine...but why the Vince Neil in a wheelchair bit?
  14. And I make it cry because I know the differences between Boston punk and skatepunk. Right.
  15. I should rephrase as something that you alone would recommend. Because I jokingly said that a band you like is terrible. Right. As for something that MIGHT be a little more "up your alley"...God Lives Underwater. They're a techno band, but a tolerable techno band.
  16. Nah. The video's good...for the first half of the song. When Cash begins acknowledging the camera, it goes from a fucking great video to near hilarity. I'm still wondering why the old bastard was pouring the wine all over the table and moving around like he was Vince Neil in a wheelchair.
  17. Yes, because having an interview with one of TNA's most dedicated and vocal fans from its first year of business is SUCH an idiotic idea, especially when the fan (and his friends) in question became the source of controversy, and the primary example of when TNA stopped listening to its fans. Fuck you, cunt. It was an interview for fans that remember the Heel Section and even how important they were to TNA in the beginning, and conducted for the board of the group of fans, but one of them decided to post it here. Heaven forbid fans vocalize their opinion on what happened, especially when they were so close to the action!
  18. ...you like Pantera, huh...
  19. Yes, because if I'd have recommended Johnny Cash, it would thus prove Johnny Cash is not worth listening, right?
  20. I call air thrash solo.
  21. In truth, they're overly cheesy...but tolerable in the Scatman John sorta way. Certainly helps that they don't take themselves seriously at all, considering one of the synth players dresses like Jason Voorhees (if he was in a glam rock band), another like a Deadite from Army of Darkness (specifically the one that gets its hand cut off in The Pit), the female singer like a Tolkien elve, the programmer like a member of Devo, and the male vocalist like a blend of Jonathan Davis and P-Diddy. "Victims, Aren't We All" is a pretty good tune, too. And "A Little Extreme" is worth listening to for the Joey Styles samples.
  22. And saying that country is better than rap because it doesn't have as many black people DOESN'T sound like a racist statement? Outside of Johnny Cash and the odd time my girlfriend will force me to listen to SHeDAISY and Alan Jackson, I'm not much for country at all. I don't think country gets as much credit as its fans feel is due by the mainstream media, or even the average person, because of the stigma that it's all about some middle-aged guy's dog dying, truck breaking down, wife leaving him, and drinking over it all. And, in truth...a lot of it is.
  23. Did you even look at what he said he listened to? Does it look like he'll be into that garbage? I'd wager a guess of no. Actually, I did. Boston punk and skate punk? NOT THE SAME, JERKY. There's more of a minor hardcore influence in Boston punk, and a whole lot of rockabilly feel to it. It's pretty much punk at its most purest, or at least as pure as it can get these days. Find some Deadites stuff, too. Decent goth-y dance shit, and a lot of their lyrics are wrestling-influenced.
  24. The Misfits, in any era, have great intro's in their songs. They were significantly better during the Danzig era, but then again so was the band (though the guitar work on American Psycho and Famous Monsters is superb). I love the opening to Nevermore's cover of "The Sounds of Silence." It plays a slightly distorted, yet acoustic, lick from the original tune, and then overdrive kicks in and everything picks up volume, and everything is THRASHED UP while keeping the original note progression going. Though I hate the band, Hatebreed's "Before Dishonor" has a fucking awesome intro. The rest of the song is pretty good, but nothing matches the first 30 seconds or so. And, of course, the obligatory mention of "Natural Born Killers" by Dr. Dre and Ice Cube. Missile launches, explosion while the main "lick" of the song plays, and then Dre comes in rapping with the line "journey with me in to the mind of a maniac / doomed to be a killer since I came out of the nutsack."
