Only album that came out in '04 I've sought out was The War Within, so I'll go with that.

Paragon: Don't quote me 100% on this, because I honestly don't know the complete story, but Darrell and Vinnie had a pretty big falling out with Phil and Rex from Pantera, so the band split into pretty much two separate bands: Damageplan and Superjoint Ritual (I won't really count Down, because that's more or a less a swamp "supergroup" with members of Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity, and Crowbar). Mada, I can imagine you'd be taking this pretty hard, since I know you used to have Dimebag as the logo for your forum when I used to post there. I was listening to WAAF today, for the rest of you Massholes, and Mistress Carrie LOST IT when she was talking about the time she introduced Darrell to her mother at LocoBazooka. I also heard her say that Zakk Wylde is completely fucked right now, because he and Dimebag were REALLY good friends.

In memory of the Dimester... Pantera - "Mouth For War"

...I think what's weirder is that I was just on a Pantera kick last week, listening to Vulgar a whole lot. RIP Dimebag

Wendy's. I can still finish a pair of double cheeseburgers from McDonald's and BK with ease. Wendy's? I can barely finish one, but I always want more because of how damn tasty it is.

Wow...I'm surprised at the Best Metal category this year. They're all, shockingly enough, either actual metal, or very close to it (with Hatebreed being generic hardcore, and Slipknot being nu-metal with a VERY heavy thrash and death influence). Best Hard Rock Performance (For solo, duo, group or collaborative performances, with vocals. Singles or Tracks only.) Megalomaniac Incubus Track from: A Crow Left Of The Murder [Epic/Immortal] Some Kind Of Monster Metallica Track from: Some Kind Of Monster [Elektra Records] Feelin' Way Too Damn Good Nickelback Track from: The Long Road [Roadrunner Records] Duality Slipknot Track from: Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) [Roadrunner Records] Slither Velvet Revolver [RCA] I see "Megalomaniac" taking this, considering Velvet Revolver sucks complete balls, Nickelback isn't as big as they used to be, the entire St. Anger album was heralded as terrible by everybody that listened to it BUT James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, and Slipknot didn't do as good as Incubus did (creatively or sales-wise). Best Metal Performance (For solo, duo, group or collaborative performances, with vocals. Singles or Tracks only.) Nymphetamine Cradle Of Filth Track from: Nymphetamine [Roadrunner Records] Live For This Hatebreed Track from: The Rise Of Brutality [universal Records] The End Of Heartache Killswitch Engage Track from: The End Of Heartache [Roadrunner Records] Whiplash Motörhead [big Deal Records] Vermilion Slipknot Track from: Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) [Roadrunner Records] I'm very, VERY peeved by the lack of Shadows Fall on here, since The War Within is better than Killswitch Engage's new album (which goes without saying, since KSE represents everything wrong with metalcore). I could see either Slipknot or Motörhead getting it, since I really can't see Dani Filth at the Grammys, and it's most likely that the people making the decisions at least know who the fuck Motörhead is without having to think too hard (considering they've been one of the premiere heavy acts for the past 30 or so years). Add to that the fact that Hatebreed fucking sucks, and yeah.

Re: Lawsuit Since TNA blurred out the faces of the WWE talent, I do not believe that infringes upon copyright law, and thus a lawsuit over it would not have much base once the fact of the facial blurring is revealed.

That's also the thing inside that tells you that From Justin To Kelly didn't suck, right?

I actually want to see the matches now, because there's no way in hell half the matches are as good as they're being claimed to be. Especially AMW/XXX, since there was no need whatsoever for AMW to go over XXX again, and Elix Skipper kinda sucks (though he's willing to die for our entertainment). I also don't see how Kash/Kazarian/Shane vs. Garza/Dutt/Siaki could be as good as people are saying, considering Kazarian sucks, as does Siaki, and Shane doesn't gel well with X-Division guys. Of course, the combined awesomeness of Garza and Kash prolly did it all.
-
Glad to see AMW goes over...AGAIN...when they don't need to, especially against XXX.

Stoner metal and stoner rock are indeed very, very good, lovecraft. But it's not all slow. It's not ridiculously fast, but quite a bit of it is very up-tempo. Nothing beats the groove.
-
I love how the recap of the "X-Division" (though only 2 of the 6 men WORK X-Division style) 6-man never mentions Siaki.

Know what'd be great? If I could get a Pepsi.

I watched Street Fighter for Kylie, Kotz. You better damn well appreciate that. -
Bleeding Through's This Is Love, This Is Murderous I've heard a few tracks off of it, and the energy in the songs is THERE. The vocalist has a very Phil Anselmo-ish voice, too, when he actually sings, which is a positive because Phil's best vocals are when he actually SINGS and doesn't try screaming or growling or going all 80's high-pitch. Metal-influenced hardcore with a tinge of ambience brought on by keyboards. What's sad is that the band DOES get attention, but not because of themselves. They get attention because Davey Havoc of AFI says they're his favorite band, so all the little emo fucks listen to them to be cool.

I could see Angle's cronies knocking Undertaker the fuck out, and then Angle grabbing the mic and going "well, you've done it. You've killed a wrestling legend." Then he dedicates his match against, say, Guerrero or Booker for 'Taker, but then Eddie/Book "no, I'M wrestling for The Undertaker." So, naturally, Kurt goes "nuh-uh, I called it first." I'd mark.

I've been listening to way too many of my old CDs from when I was in middle school. Pantera, Kid Rock, George Thorogood, Slipknot...it's pretty weird.

I can hear the breakdown in my head as I read those.

It's about as bad as TotalNonStop used to be. Whenever anybody would bring up news from Meltzer, everybody would refute it (despite it turning out to be 100% true) and saying they don't trust him because of his opinion. Now, keep in mind, Meltzer is the man that said AJ Styles vs. Jerry Lynn was the best feud of 2002. He praised a lot of the early upstarts that the company had, and said that the shows were entertaining during their first year. He is also the single most respectable wrestling journalist there is. And they don't trust his news because of his OPINION. It's almost like bipartisan arguments between CNN and Fox News at times, really.
