  1. Then how about just shutting the hell up? (I'm talking about pols, not you -- yet.) If you were a public figure and didn't like the man then just keep your mouth shut. If I was a pol. when Uncle Ted finally drives off that big bridge of life I'd just clam up, let his family and supporters mourn and be done with it. I wouldn't go "WAAAH, I want to speak at his funeral..."
  2. Blah blah to me. That qualifies as thuggish? Well then here's another thug, or thug-ette. I'm agreeing with Ripper on a race issue!? Never thought that would happen. Nuts, forgot to get the story's link -- oh well. It's true...
  3. No it's not. Problem is the ACLU does stupid shit like this all the time -- I heard that at one time they wanted La Cruces' (sp?) name changed. Isn't there better things for them to worry about, like *insert dramatic music* THE PATRIOT ACT?...
  4. Not even going to ask your age, (I know better) but I was eight years old in '84 and remember bits of that election. My dad was an old-school union guy, and his friends were pretty much the same. He got laid off by Heinz in the early 80s and HATED Reagan. I remember on election night I was at the house of one of his friends, and they all voted Mondale. They all told me that both men would raise our taxes, it was just that Mondale was being honest about it. I remember being in the kitchen of this house when they showed the electoral map, and Reagan won all but MN, and everyone in that kitchen was silent and shaking their head. I think it was times like this that make me understand why my old man had a look of fear/outrage when I showed him my voter registration card, which stated what Party I joined, back in '94...
  5. Who the hell is Skillz?...
  6. I never understood prank calls. Usually when someone called trying to be funny, I'd usually say, in a monotone voice, get cancer or something. Usually that shut them up long enough for me to hang up to silence...
  7. That was the first thing I thought of when reading this thread's title. I hope these drinks are successful and cost twice as much as other drinks. That way anyone dumb enough to buy one of these will get hosed...
  8. So people side with certain public figures because they are of the same party? GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!!!!! Holy shit -- voting for someone because they have a "D" or "R" by their name. Why, you may have stumbled on a voting trend that has been previously undiscovered. Imagine that, people voting for Bush because he's a conservative/Kerry because he's a liberal. This line of thinking has shattered my previous theory that people go into a voting booth and carefully examine each candidate's issues before pulling that lever. Oh, by the way, where do you go to school (I would say "getting educated" instead of "going to school" but you're in college)? Sounds exactly like Sappy Valley...
  9. If you think the Onion is funny, then the answer is yes. I appreciate the shout-out, but I don't think I've ever laughed at anything the Onion has written. Now a certain cable news channel on the other hand. If I did hack into TO, I would probably have written a Racist Dusty article, or made fun of ESPN in some capacity. Or perhaps have an article of Dan Rather complaining about Reagan's recent coverage while he was getting ready to interview Clinton for an hour on 60 Minutes as part of Bill's book tour. And besides, this article is made-up. Here's your proof: Kerry served in Vietnam -- yeah, right. This would be news to me. Speaking of Kerry, JOTW, have you been able to hear Glenn Beck's John Kerry's Waffle House yet?...
  10. Well this was more entertaining than any WWE draft...
  11. Back on topic: Interesting how yesterday the PTI boys all but ignored the Bird story. Hell, to me Wilbon was defending Bird. The only idiot bigger than someone asking a question like that is someone answering a question like that. And, yes, my view of Larry Bird has been changed for the worse after hearing him say these stupid-ass remarks. Although I would have marked out had he said, in his argument, he has little white kids asking him if it's ok for them to play basketball. Oh, yeah. I'm thuggish and ruggish...
  12. Oh we know all about liberal yahoos *glares at jigg.* Sorry for questioning your patriotism. And yes, that conservative guy wasn't all that good...
  13. I've never been there, but I've heard stories...
  14. Now are these fuck-ups supposed to be things you regret doing? If so, I have no stories...
  15. My story I'm too lazy to re-type...
  16. As part of Team FS, I will do whatever the group needs me to do because I'm a team player and never complains. Except now: FS, if I'm so goddamn strong what the fuck is up with me being picked 36th overall bitch? Forget it, let's jack up Ripper's team -- I'm in the mood for some hate crimes...
  17. Always trying to start some trouble, huh Rant? If someone is going to try and cut a heel promo, at least do it well. Don't say something like "Wouldn't it be kewl if Reagan fell out of his casket and said 'Woah, what a dream'? Ronnie is the SUQ." EDIT: MARK OUT MOMENT -- hunger4unger just AIM'd me!!! My panties are getting wet...
  18. Bah. things like Rall just have a hard-on for being an ideologue martyr. I put in a few orders to the Cancer Fairy, and hopefully this little shit will be without a testicle (if he has any to begin with) in about five years. While flipping channels last night I caught him on Hannity & That Other Guy. Man Hannity was ripping him a new one; I was laughing out loud in June of 2004. And on a side note, I don't know what the hell is wrong with me, but the last few times I've seen her, I've scoping out Susan Estrich...
  19. Anytime. It's not the "negativity" -- it's the lack of wit. I knew hunger4unger, and you, sir, are no hunger4unger...
  20. Yeah he usually starts a new job every other month or so. Says worlds about his people skills. Hell no. I'm not rolling over all those pointy noses. Lord knows how many punctures I'll endure. Worse yet, my wallet will probably disappear as well...
  21. I find it sad that Reagan, a person who always talked about the "big picture," is now the subject of all this petty let's-name-this-after-him...
  22. Here's an observation. You're an idiot...
  23. Well, although my people have been under-represented in the NBA for some time now, I have never seen basketball as a black man's game, ever ... ever...
  24. Now I've know that death can bring the living closer together, but damn...
  25. My n*gga Bill Laimbeer is number 18? Wow...
