I just found out that energy drink I randomly grabbed off the shelf earlier at The Dollar Tree and shotgunned a few hours ago was meant for bodybuilders. I have another one in the fridge. Good lord, I'm going to be up for a while....

Amusingly enough, my dad was telling me he was considering seeing Twilight. I think he just heard it was about vampires and automatically thought it would be kickass. Then I told him the deal about it and luckily he reconsidered and said he'll just rent it on DVD.

Here's a (potentially) highly contentious pick; Hogan/Andre. Now I understand the WrestleMania III match is iconic and deservedly so. But it's certainly not because of the workrate in that match. Have you actually watched that or any of the rematches lately? Just awful stuff. As a mark who got into wrestling back in the early '90s watching the VHS, I thought "Wow, those two big guys are going at it...wow, that kind of sucked." Again, I'm sure those who got into wrestling in the '80s are shaking their fist in anger at this statement but really, did any of those matches break *? And I'm a guy who doesn't mind the usual '80s Hogan Vs Fat Guy formula but Andre was just way too broken down at this point.

I said this in another thread but the Regal/Edge feud was the Rick Martel/Tatanka feud of the '00s. Two competent workers stuck in a heatless feud that produces oddly boring matches for months on end.

Yeah, that's why I qualify TNA as a World title but not ECW. ECW fulfills the first two requirements (well...at least in the last year or two) but I don't think it fulfills the last one. I can't recall the ECW World Champion ever defending the belt overseas. I also count AWA as a World Title up until the bitter end even though it didn't really fulfill that 2nd requirement (Regular PPVs weren't really feasible).

Yep, The Secret Life of Toys was spun off from that movie and debuted a year or two before Toy Story.

You know what Christmas special they never show on TV anymore? Jim Henson's The Christmas Toy. One of my all-time favorites. It just came out on DVD but it's not on Netflix! Bullshit! I demand answers! I might have to buy it on DVD...only $9 on Amazon. And man, I didn't realize as a kid how much Toy Story ripped this one off.

Doesn't Bushwhacker Luke have a hand in booking ROH? I think that has to be the reason he's on that card. At least he's not putting himself on top.

Eight was probably a bit of an overstatement, as off the top of my head I can come up with four: "Someday Never Comes" "Lodi" "I Put A Spell On You" "Bad Moon Rising" There are probably one or two more out there. I actually like Creedence quite a bit. I'm really only familiar with the singles, but I still think that Fortunate Son is hands better than most of what they did. What's a good album to start with? I'd rather avoid their endlessly tedious rendition of I Heard It Through The Grapevine. I'm partial to Green River myself.
