  1. I'll say; Mr. Fuji Killer Kowalski Bobby Heenan Chris Masters Bryan Clarke (Adam Bomb, Wrath, whatever you want to call him) Jamie Dundee
  2. http://people.ronpaul2008.com/endorsements...9/glenn-jacobs/ I think the tide is turning for Ron Paul now that the Big Red Machine is endorsing him! He'll chokeslam through the competition in NH and SC
  3. I had a dream the other night where me andr Jake Roberts ran a wrestling school. He was the trainer and I took care of the financial stuff. It was weird
  4. I forgot about It's Pat That's definitely the worst movie starring an SNL castmember. Though Corky Romano and the aforementioned Nothing But Trouble are definitely viable contenders for that title.
  5. It always has been fashionable in Czech's mind!
  6. Sleeper of the year is definitely Alvin and The Chipmunks IMO. It cost $55 million and will probably make $200 million. It's based on an old TV show but that's not a guarantee of big box office success and it didn't have any huge box office draws in it while Wild Hogs had three (Travolta, Tim Allen and Martin Lawrence).
  7. Demento wants Vince to hire him so he can get laid The newest and craziest Demento video.
  8. I think you're overestimating how big those internet campaign ads were. The only people I know personally that saw them were people I showed the video too. I agree with Czech, most people won't remember him period.
  9. Have you seen Freaks and Geeks? I see how you can dislike 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, and Superbad (Which he didn't have much to do with outside of producing it) but Freaks and Geeks is infallible man. I have a feeling you might dig The Ben Stiller Show too and he was the co-creator and head writer for that show. Worst movie starring an SNL castmember is probably Nothing But Trouble which pretty much dispelled the notion that original SNL castmembers = box office gold. That one is so bad it's good though. I mean it's got a random cameo by Digital Underground (With Tupac!)
  10. I'm reading the hilariously titled Loose Balls by Terry Pluto, which is an oral history of the ABA. Really entertaining read that I'd give the highest recommendation to any basketball fan. After that I'm going to read Homicide: A Year on The Killing Streets by David Simon (Creator of The Wire and Homicide: Life on The Street which is loosely based on the book). Actually both his TV series' are loosely based on the book so I'm looking forward to it. If he's even half as good of a journalist as he is a television writer than this should be a compelling
  11. Is Sandler trying to take on "tough" subjects now with his dumb comedies? What's next? A movie where he plays an Eskimo who has to move to the big city because of global warming? It's terrible. Believe it or not, I actually kind of like Sandler. But it's been impossible to defend his movie choices for the past five years or so.
  12. Trailer Oh boy. This one is co-written by Judd Apatow too. Even by Adam Sandler standards, this one looks terrible.
  13. If ESPN Classic is interested airing Herb Abrams' UWF, I'm sure they'd have plenty of interest in airing old WWE stuff if the price was right (Which it almost definitely isn't). Abrams' UWF probably costs a hundredth of the price WWE would charge and I doubt McMahon would want the graveyard slot ESPN Classic would likely give them. But really come on now- ESPN Classic has American Gladiators in Primetime! Would they be stooping that low if they aired the occassional old school WWF/E (or any of the other promotions that Vince own the library of) show? A guy who doesn't get 24/7 on Demand or MSG Network can dream!
  14. Doesn't Bob have relatives somewhere down south? And I'd also be curious as to what a hockey game is like in North Cackalacky
  15. Embarrassing confession time- I used to love "Kryptonite" and have their first album buried somewhere. I was in 6th grade granted but that's not much of an excuse.
  16. I don't know what'd be worse if Marvin was serious or making an attempt at humor.
  17. Definitely going to watch this. I don't see why Vince doesn't put some sort of WWE 24/7 preview on ESPN Classic. Does he still have a grudge with ESPN over their XFL coverage (or lack thereof)?
  18. I've seen 16 movies on that list. Usually I see more blockbuster shite in theaters but this year I only saw three in the top 10 (The Simpsons Movie and Transformers which were both part of a drive in double feature and I saw Shrek 3). I don't know if it's a sign of my taste getting better or me just getting old and out of touch with what's popular. You decide TSM!
  19. Must have been added last night. Cause it wasn't there when I visited yesterday afternoon but when I came back from Boston, it was. I don't see the need to add Radio to this folder. I mean how often do we have discussions about radio? Once? Maybe twice a year?
  20. I've never seen this and I go to the movies at least once a week. God bless Maine's liberal soldier hatin' movie theaters!
  21. Why would you want to see that. Well, can't say I'm surprised that went over Matt's head.
  22. And that incident was inducted into WrestleCrap. And this doesn't directly have to do to TNA but has WrestleCrap gotten less funny or was it not that funny to begin with and I only liked it because I was a 14 year old new smark? I ask myself this question often.
  23. I'm listening to a lot of 90s pop and Bruce Springsteen lately. I realized whilst listening to a lot of 90s pop that I must be the only American who kinda liked Robbie Williams. Whoever was in charge of promoting him in the States totally bungled the job I tell ya! It was completely bungled!
  24. 2005 was the last really good year for me. 2004 was pretty good to. Last two years have been OK, leaning on crappy.
  25. For some reason, they put the episodes OnDemand six days before the show airs on HBO. Doesn't make sense really but it's kind of convenient.
