For some reason, my dad likes Screamin' A. Smith and will on rare occassion, describe me some hilarious happenings on that show. Dad's getting senile I guess.

I wouldn't say it's a shoo in. While Milky is the man to beat, I'm sure there'll be a sizable amount of people who'll be resentful of the crowd who says "END THE RACE RIGHT NOW, GIVE IT TO MILKY!" Milky is the Hillary Clinton of this race. I like to think of myself as the Kucnich as the race.

Comments which don't warrant a thread.
King Kamala replied to Giuseppe Zangara's topic in No Holds Barred
In stunning news, I've decided to change my avatar for the first time since I joined this board way back in July '02. After the poster tournament is done, there's a 90% chance I'll be changing my screenname. Stay tuned for exciting updates! -
great, now the thread's fucked! Thanks Marv! And the guy I was thinking of was gWIL http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...ic=74079&hl= http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...ic=71792&hl= http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...ic=70374&hl=

I always get Cowboy confused with the guy from Indiana who always had threads in the music forum about whether he should go shitty concerts because he had nothing better to do. I'm not sure why and I'm pretty good at remembering posters.

Now I'm on a big Van Halen kick. Mostly David Lee Roth era but I throw in the 2 or 3 Hager songs I can tolerate intermittantly. Here's a good spot to mention I have a cousin whose favorite album is Van Halen III.

I liked SoulDecision. They only had one big hit (Faded) and one minor hit (Oooh It's Kind of Crazy) here in the States. I saw them as part of a dreadful radio station concert (Q Holiday Concert '00 if memory serves correctly) where they were one of two decent acts on a bill of eight or nine bands (The other being Sister Hazel, another band worth mentioning in this thread). I think SoulDecision is kind of the missing link between NSync (or any of the boy band of the time) and Maroon 5

You know I don't really mind Downhome. His hyperbolic movie reviews and reactions to wrestlers deaths are kind of endearing to me. Then again, I'm like Milky, I like almost everybody here. There are few people on this board that I dislike and the few that I do are the posters that are hated by pretty much everybody.

Czech, I'm staying true to the board's roots. Actually, I've always been bad at coming up with screennames and stuff like that. Plus I've never really thought about changing it that much for some reason. And I estimate that a good 25-30% of my votes are in the wrestling folders anyways. But you can guarantee that if I do ever want to change my screen name I'll ask you guys for advice cause lord knows I'd come up with something stupid like JJ Kool Aid if left to my own devices.

This one's for you- Socksquatch Once when I was 5 or so, a girl (to be fair the girl looked like she was 9 or 10 and was much bigger than me) shoved me to the ground at a McDonalds playground causing me to fart so hard I pooped my pants a little. And there goes my last shred of dignity. I better get a for sharing this embarrassing chapter of my life!

Wait- Us in the Eastern Time Zone are the only ones who get most of our late evening newscasts at 11? I did not know that for some reason. The Fox and CW affliates here have 10 P.M. newscasts but they're shitty as you'd probably expect. News at 10 just feels wrong to me. And it doesn't help that Fox and the CW's 10 P.M. newscasts are just using CBS' affliate and NBC's affliates C teams for them.

In no particular order (Except incidentally the first three I listed are probably my three favorite posters) 1.Milky 2. Kinetic 3. Dr. Venkman 4. Agent of Oblivion 5. SOCKSQUATCH 6. Edwin Macphisto 7. Black Lushus 8. gary floyd 9. Ripper 10. Incadenza You can't vote for yourself I assume. But somebody's got to show some King Kamala a little bit of love. I'll be happy just to be in the tournament, even if I end up as first round cannon fodder.
-
It's at MSG, they'll mark.
-
I ordered that on PPV. It's the one PPV I remember my dad watching with my brother and me. It's no wonder that he hates wrestling. And if anything this writer's strike has given me a chance to really catch up with this forum. And by catch up, I mean spend 10-12 hours a day on here

You shoulda bolded that too. I guess that TNA needed to scoop the WWE's elderly heat with having a guy who's even older than Ric Flair wrestling on their show. Not to mention approximately 100x less over than Flair. I mean does anybody north of the Mason Dixon line give two shits about Bob Armstrong? And I'm not sure if there are more than a dozen people below it that care.

Yech- I feel for you man. Last night, I watched Leonard Part 6. Terrible movie with fits of unintentional hilarity. A movie where Bill Cosby rides around on an ostrich can't be entirely bad but it was close to it.
-
So which movies are you anticipating in 2008?
King Kamala replied to CBright7831's topic in Television & Film
I'm not sure what that movie is about but if this guy is involved, I'm sure it'll be box office gold. I'm not sure what's coming out this year (Which is weird since I try to go to the movies once or twice a year) but I'm looking forward to The Dark Night and Trailer Trash. -
Gravel hospitalized with lung infection Poor guy. At least his latest YouTube video is another slice of unintentional surreal hilarity King Kamala- your source for fringe candidate updates!
-
Is anybody else amused by the fact that Joe Biden had about 200 more votes than Mike Gravel? Poor Gravel can't even place ahead of a guy who dropped out of the race last week.

Herb Abrams' UWF begins airing on ESPN Classic next week
King Kamala replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in General Wrestling
I'm not sure whether it's cut or not but it appears to me that they've cut out interviews. I mean what's a wrestling show without interviews. There was a weird commercial break in The Koloffs EXPLODE! match last night too. -
Milky, you're the best around! Nothing's ever gonna keep you down!

WWE General Discussion - January 2008
King Kamala replied to Prophet of Mike Zagurski's topic in The WWE Folder
Thats because he was feuding with Bret... Actually, Goldberg was never really over in Canada. I'm almost positive that there was a "Goldberg sucks" chant during his I Quit match with Sid at Mayhem in Toronto. -
Herb Abrams' UWF begins airing on ESPN Classic next week
King Kamala replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in General Wrestling
Apparently the second show had a pretty good match between Cactus Jack and David Sammartino (!!!) but I missed it because for some reason, I thought the 2nd episode would just be a repeat of the first. Ah well. -
Awkward moments involving roommates.
King Kamala replied to Giuseppe Zangara's topic in No Holds Barred
23. Worst thing my one roommate (Who I roomed with for approximately six weeks before getting the hell out of there) did was listen to a lot of Mindless Self Indulgance really loudly and sometimes, he'd wake up at 4 A.M. or 5 A.M., do tae-chi in his underwear. Oh and he rarely wore a shirt. You people are a lot more tolerant than I am. -
I was confusing this with the 20th anniversary of Thriller which features a bunch of extraneous bonus stuff (Interviews with Quincy Jones, demos of songs that were cut and early versions of Billie Jean) on at the end. Dammit I wanted to discuss The Vincent Price "Thriller" outtakes not Will I Am's shitty remixes of the original album! And it's not hard to improve on "The Girl Is Mine". Easily my least favorite song on the album. Though I'm enough of a fan of McCartney and Michael to enjoy it somewhat and the banter still cracks me up for some reason. It's no "Say Say Say" though.
