The big New Years Eve show tonight here in beautiful Portland, Maine? Days Of The New. I didn't even know those guys were still together. They must have just reunited. Wait- the show got cancelled. The twelve people who bought tickets must be so disappointed. They're not going to ring in the new year by listening to them play whatever their hit was. Sad. Just sad. In the late 70s/early 80s when they were popular, The J. Geils Band played here every New Years Eve! So the residents of the Forest City will always have that. *sigh*

I just watched The Brothers Solomon. It wasn't very good but there were some funny moments here and there. Better than most people here said it was. A **- maybe **1/2 movie. Really glad I didn't pay $8 to see it in the theaters.

My favorite is Season 2 (original version of the song) but I realize that Tom Waits is kind of an acquired taste. The hipsters here will agree with me though, amiright?
