  1. That Hogan picture will never get old.
  2. Patch Adams is a real person?!?
  3. Unfortunately, though I smirk sometimes with it, I'd say Big Vis: Ladies Man. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't forget about perverted Kurt Angle.
  4. That was a Flair-worthy robe on Dupree.
  5. You spelled Huxtable wrong.
  6. Hey, there's nothing wrong with Black Lushus.
  7. Heh. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I believe he's referring to Goldstein, not Ebert. Anyway, I always hated the title "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo". Of course he's a male gigolo. You can't be a female gigolo!
  8. Why don't I see a post.
  9. Seriously people, have you ever seen the video. This old dad is yelling at his son, "YOU'RE 18 YEARS OLD, BOY. BY THE TIME I WAS 18 I HAD ALREADY BEEN WORKING 6 YEARS AND HAD BEEN IN THE SERVICE! YOU WILL NEVER AMOUNT TO ANYTHING!" The kid is so upset that he begins crying and puts on his Walkman to listen to his copy of After the Rain, and a purple bolt of lightening is suddenly sent through the headphone wires to his head. Then the Nelson brothers emerge from the poster of them the kid has hanging above his wall and pull him in. Then it shows the kid screaming and falling as though he's travelling into some other dimension. When he finally lands, he's sitting across from an Indian with both the Nelsons by his side. The Indian holds out a feather, which the Nelsons touch and disappear. Then the kid gets up and tries to walk away, but the Indian gives him the feather. Then he makes his way outside to witness an awesome performance of "After the Rain" by Matthew, Gunnar and the whole bunch. Then it shows the kid back in his room, waking up. It was all a dream............or was it???? On the table next to his bed..............is the feather the Indian gave him!! Spooky, huh?
  10. I think "Eddie Winslow" is Shoes Head.
  11. The other day, I was thinking about the demise of WCW and how the promotion would have been had the Bischoff deal gone through. I was wondering what you all thought the future might have held for WCW in 2001. Keep in mind Bischoff would have had to have been a lot smarter with money since Fusient didn't have the unlimited resources Turner/Time Warner had. I think the promotion's roster would have been very interesting since they probably would have had the "brand names" (as Bischoff liked to call them) on top, such as Hogan, Nash, Sting, Goldberg, but also Bob Sapp (who they signed but never wrestled on TV), Sam Greco (an Australian kickboxer), possibly Sabu and RVD (who Bischoff showed interest in signing), a big push for Sean O'Haire (I've read Bischoff was real big on him), plus the cruiserweight division with new guys like AJ Styles, Kid Kash, Jason Jett (who I thought was awesome), Chris Daniels, and more. I think WCW in 2001 had the potential to be a really good promotion, or at the very least as good as they were during the early nWo era. What do you guys think?
  12. Cena is about as hardcore as the episode of Full House where Tommy Page sang at Stephanie's birthday party.
  13. "Praying for Time" is the best George Michael song.
  14. "After the Rain" is a great song, and the video for it is even better.
  15. I thought the deal was the first taping went great, but TNN objected to some of the content - more in particularly the triple or double flaming table spot the Duds did to Spike, I believe. They didnt have time to tape another show in time, so they did that highlight hour for the first show as a backup plan. Plus between that time and the time they taped the show at the Manhatten Center, the whole thing with the Duds leaving to go to WWE was a reality, which wasnt the case on the first show they taped that got canned. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, the flaming tables spot did air on the debut episode of ECW on TNN. In fact, it was the first thing shown.
  16. I know we have some AWK fans here, so I just wanted to see what you thought of his new song "You Will Remember Tonight" (go to http://www.andrewwk.com/main.php and click on the link for the song at the bottom). In my opinion, it isn't very good. It reminds me of some of the weaker tracks from The Wolf (an album which I liked very much), but I'd assume this isn't the bast he has to offer from his new album. Any thoughts?
  17. This thread is indisputable proof that the left is racist.
  18. Rhino Andrew WK
  19. It wasn't uncommon a few years ago to have the "main event" at a house show before intermission and have a match between midcarders as the last match. In this case though, I can't really see what the headline match would be. Benoit/Kane?
  20. Well, the first Michaels/Undertaker match at Ground Zero got a .45 buyrate, and Bad Blood got a .6, but I would guess that was due to the Hell in a Cell stipulation. As for Lesnar/Undertaker, Unforgiven 2002 got a .57 and No Mercy got a .58, so there was pretty much no increase.
  21. Hired someone? I'd say it's pretty obvious the dude did it himself.
  22. No, B-Thong is worse than that.
  23. One day, I was looking through the used CD section at the local record store in my college town, and I found a CD by these guys: B-Thong. So I don't think there's any band that has ever had a worse name.
