  1. It's not that I don't miss Kurt, but I am not fretting over his absence and wondering when exactly he'll return. The way they book him, it's almost better if he takes is mini-breaks. Knowing the booking crew, they'll have him come back as the goofy dork he was in June-July 2001.
  2. I haven't seen a lot of people place Matt Hardy/Rey Mysterio from the Smackdown in May (the CW Title main event). Excellent match and put together really well.
  3. 1. Benoit vs. Guerrero (Vengeance) 2. Angle vs. Benoit (Royal Rumble) 3. Jericho vs. Michaels (Wrestlemania) 4. TWGTTP vs. Rey/Kidman (Vengeance) 5. Angle vs. Lesnar (Wrestlemania) 6. Triple H vs. Ric Flair (Raw, ?) 7. Team Austin vs. Team Bischoff (Survivor Series) 8. Austin vs. Rock (Wrestlemania) 9. TWGTTP vs. Guerrero/Tajiri (Judgement Day) 10. Cena vs. Angle (No Mercy)
  4. MVP of the year : Eddie Guerrero Match of the year : Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero (Vengeance) Raw wrestler of the year : Chris Jericho Smackdown wrestler of the year : Eddie Guerrero Rookie of the year : Shelton Benjamin Tag team of the year : TWGTTP Feud of the year : Chris Jericho v. Shawn Michaels PPV of the year : Vengeance Storyline of the year : Ric Flair's "One Night Stand" as a Main Eventer Announcer of the year : Tazz
  5. Get Kurt Angle out of that list, and it's fine.
  6. I just wonder why Bret would ref the Austin/HBK match, if it ever happened. I know the three men all have history, but it would seem weird.
  7. I don't think Austin actually asked for that kind of segment.
  8. A feud between Cena and Benoit sounds promising. This should kickstart the Benoit/Brock eventual feud for the WWE Title and Cena/Show for the U.S. Title. Show looks alright on paper. It'll be cool to see the battle royal.
  9. So if he likes the crap that he just did, squashing all the talent over and over, does that mean its a good idea? I think it was stated that Austin was still unhappy with his creative direction, but he probably needed the money after the divorce and trial stuff.
  10. Kevin Nash. My God, how can anyone hate his flowing locks?
  11. The fans wouldn't identify with the character because most of them don't remember "Stunning" Steve Austin. If he were to return, he should go to Smackdown and act like the Stone Cold "Killer" character (of 1996). No long celebrations with the fans, no beer salutes. He should just treat the faces and heels the same way, like he did. Problem is, he would still be a huge face. The paranoid/heel is the only character that'd be a bit entertaining to watch. The most logical thing he can do is stay off television, and return for a program at Wrestlemania.
  12. Kurt Angle is a retard.
  13. He's probably not allowed to drop the guy shoulder/neck first, so thus it's basically a glorified Fireman's Carry takeover turned into a slam. They're trying to censor out a lot of moves that focus on the neck, especially in the past year (excluding the German Suplex-fest).
  14. I think that only certain wrestlers with experience should perform these moves. You brought up how Benoit used a ton of German Suplexes on Austin back in 2001, but I believe Austin has said before that he ultimately trusted Benoit, because he knew that Benoit would never be careless enough to drop Austin on his head/neck. It's not so much the bookers/promoter's fault as it is the worker's to train hard enough to know how to execute a proper suplex.
  15. San Fransisco 49ers= 14 pts. Carolina at Dallas Detroit at Minnesota Indianapolis at Buffalo Jacksonville at N.Y. Jets New England at Houston New Orleans at Philadelphia Pittsburgh at Cleveland Seattle at Baltimore San Francisco[LOCK] at Green Bay Chicago at Denver St. Louis at Arizona Cincinatti at San Diego Oakland at Kansas City Tennessee at Atlanta Washington at Miami NY Giants at Tampa Bay (Monday Night)
  16. I don't want to see either. Both would be train wrecks. Angle/Michaels would be a fun match to watch, but I think Angle should be more involved in the intricacies of the main event somehow. If they didn't do the Angle/Benoit overkill in 02-03, then I would love to see an Iron Man match between the two. As for Cena, I think he should have a program with The Rock, if Rocky is actually available for a WM XX program. That would be a fun match and the promos (plus buildup) would be a riot.
  17. .....Well what is The Rock really "cookin' then.....?
  18. I believe the promo where Austin was speaking about his upcoming Survivor Series match with Bret Hart, to Brian Pillman. I don't remember it word-for-word, but I can vividly remember this part: Pillman- "Wait, so you're calling Bret a chicken?" Austin-"He ain't no chicken...he's the slimy crap that comes outta the backside of a chiken! Lemme put it this way, if ya put the letter 'S' in front of Hitman, ya get my exact opinion o' Bret Hart!"
  19. Well, whatever reason Cena uses the line, it sure is entertaining, imo, and it is another mannerism that entertains the crowd. For a guy as young as he is, he has a great ability to connect with the audience.
  20. -Steve Austin -Ted DiBiase -Great Sasuke -Ricky Steamboat -Bret Hart -Chris Benoit -Ric Flair -Jushin Lyger -Jumbo Tsuruta -Kenta Kobashi
  21. So now that Angle is getting surgery done again, how long do you think he really has left? I assume he won't keep leaving for a couple of months and then coming back. That'll give the writers more chances to screw up his character.
  22. I sure as hell hope it's not another authoritative role for Austin.
  23. Evolution dog-piles Stephanieeeeeeee~!
  24. This seems like a plausible storyline to follow, assuming they keep going with the Austin/Jericho feud. We'll know if Jericho starts talking about Austin down the road or something such as that.
  25. Chris Benoit wins it, I believe, and goes on to face Lesnar at WM. Cena is going to be in the U.S. Title ranks (which is perfectly fine), and they seemed to have aborted the Eddy push somewhat. For some unexplained reason, I don't see anyone from Raw winning this. It seems more important for a Smackdown contender to win it.
