Would anyone mind if I did that PK/Drek and GPX confrontation I proposed this week? I just want to feel like I wrote something that could lead to something else instead of just writing a match to write a match (like I'm doing against Cuban Wall). It could set up a future Drek/PK match down the road.

Any type of "invasion of the released" would be PERFECT.......if you want to completely fuck an angle up right out of the gate. The fans want to see Matt get revenge on Edge and Lita, THAT'S ALL. No one wants to see Shannon Moore, no one wants to see the Dudleys, no one wants to see Matt Morgan, they want to see MATT HARDY fight ADAM COPELAND, end of story.
-
The easiest way that they CAN fuck this up is by putting Kane or Snitsky anywhere NEAR this feud. No one wants to see them involved, just the three principal characters (Edge, Matt and Lita). No Edge and Snitsky vs. Matt and Kane on RAW, no Snitsky vs. Matt matches, NOTHING.
-
Well, they're going to have to acknowledge what happened eventually. I'd say Edge and Lita continually taunt Matt about what happened like they have been doing, but still have Matt not "officially" back with WWE and unable to get at Edge (who he should keep calling "Adam"). I guess they could fudge up a story about Lita putting a restraining order on Matt or something to keep him away until Edge finally agrees to a match at SSlam or SurSer.

I know. Selig just droned on and on and on and ON. The guy needs LESS facetime on TV, not more. Put a spokesman out there instead that can actually keep people interested in what he's saying.

I flipped back and forth between this and the Derby, so I missed Matt returning. Will be interesting how they fuck THIS one up. The Cena/Jericho promo was good, but it seems like they're just reusing the JBL angle and putting Jericho in his place (with the whole "You're a thug and a bad champion" thing). The Michaels promo was a case of Michaels talking and not actually saying anything. So, is he jealous of Hogan? Tired of him? Wants to top him? Thinks he's better than him?

Look up "referencing" sometime. How they set it up is very similar: A bunch of guys in masks drop to their knees while the deed is being done, but substitute Hassan's Camel Clutch for the actual beheading in this case. You can't possibly say "Oh, that's just a coincidence" either. Anyway, this thing has run its course and keeping it open won't further any debate. They did it, we argued about it, now move on.

Yeah, I see what you're getting at there, NYU. I'll most likely pick the Originals, because I really don't know a good reason for him to join the Upstarts. He can reason that if he's going to fight with someone, it should be people he knows well instead of a bunch of guys that suddenly sprung up while he was gone. Or something like that.

Seriously, anyone that takes Lindsey Lohan over THIS needs their head bashed in. *Preemtive X-TITLE BELTSHOT to Hoff because he'll say he will anyway*

Michael Holley does the 10AM-2PM show on WEEI out of Boston now, and he does a pretty good job at it.

Completely uninspiring displays by the Red Sox offense this week. Getting shut down by Bruce Chen is bad, but getting shut down by Chen AND Rodrigo Lopez is worse.

So I was just thinking what to do to build for AngleSlam, since I'll be in that Ultimate X match at LTP and I was wondering how we can get PK involved in the big angle going on. I had an idea that, one of these HDs, PK can run into Drek and the GPX at the catering table or in the hallways or something and PK can reference the crack Drek made about the X-Title (calling it a midcard title) and challenge him, but Drek can say that he's "above" that and PK can face one of the GPX-ers instead. I don't know if PK will exactly "join" either side, because he's not one to play nice with others. I'm going the whole "Bret Hart: Fighting Champion" route for the X-Title, so PK can prove that he's a capable champion so he'll be considered for a Heavyweight title match sometime down the road.

Don't worry, I was too. ...Or was I? *Dun Dun DUNNNNNNNNNNN*

It'll definitely be Garland now. Buehrle will probably go after him and then Clement.

I'll brush off your snide comments just this once. But watch it, buster.

PK vs. Hoff in a "Loser Must Listen to 'LaLa' for the Rest of His Life" match. And Hoff can't win by pinfall, submission, countout, or DQ.
-
Talk to me AFTER you see the segment.
-
Can someone dig up the X-Title picture for me? Oh and PK has found an opponent for the X-Title.

The Red Sox FINALLY capitalize with the bases loaded after twice only getting one run. 5-1 in the 6th.
-
I also agree with this. The whole thing was just the cheapest way possible to put more heel heat on the guy.

Good opening exchange, showing that the friendship is on the back burner until AS is over. The injury angle with CK was done well. Wow, CSI already with tension after only a few weeks. Did lil' ol' me do THAT much damage? Great exhange again that's helping to elevate Rodez and put him as one of the focal points of this whole story. Interesting little match, but it didn't really seem to serve any purpose other than to get Jay out there. Another woman for the division, and keeps the Wright/Rodez feud going. Leon's a busy boy, isn't he? ANOTHER name change for that title? We should just call it "This Space for Rent" Championship. I'm reading Tony's matches to try and get ideas how to improve my own writing, as his always have good action, especially since tag matches are tougher since you should get everyone involved. Hmmm, Brock ain't too happy right now. Pissing off that guy is bad news. I should know. And my match ends the show. Pretty good one this week, everyone.

Crap, Alf's doing the "open challenge" thing already. Ok then, anyone that wants an X-Title shot can PM me.

Wow, Nixon must feel like a total moron right about now. Ah well, still three more games in the series.

Also, the Sox designated Jay Payton for assignment, which probably is a precursor to either a trade or outright release. The Cora trade gives them more bench depth (defensively in this case) and if they get Kapler back, well that's just a bonus.
