  1. I dunno, that'd be a step back down for him. I just think they're redoing the Cena angle that was aborted when Carlito injured his shoulder last year.
  2. BB isn't going off the charts because John Q. Moviegoer is still VERY skeptical about a new Batman movie, and you can't blame him one bit. From the trailers and things, I'm afraid the movie might drag a bit, but I might catch it this week sometime. Disney should really keep these Duff films to "Direct to DVD" jobs, because just looking at the ads screams "Disney Channel Exclusive".
  3. "God bless America....we'll put a boot in your ass if you don't." Went to Fenway today, another great start by Clement and the offense woke up from their slumber. The funniest thing I saw was a guy outside the Cask N' Flagon after the game shaking a cup of change and holding a sign that read "I won't lie, I want a beer."
  4. 10. Seeing Fenway Park for the first time. My dad pulled me out of 1st grade to go. 9. McGuire making the Monster his bitch in the '99 HR Derby. I know; he was probably on the juice and the balls were as well, but that was a sight to behold. 8. Seeing my high school (Durfee) beat Taunton by something like 66-0 in their first night football game. Hey, it's my list. That was just a fun night. 7. Larry Bird injuring himself in a playoff game against Indiana but coming back out of the locker room later on. 6. Supernowl XXXII, Broncos vs. Packers. Elway being spun around but still getting the 1st down late in the game. 5. Seeing Pedro be Pedro against the A's in a regular season game in May 2001, I believe it was. 4. Vinatieri's kick to win Superbowl XXXVI 3. Vinatieri's kick to win Superbowl XXXVII and then going to the victory parade. 2. Ortiz's walkoff in Game 4 of the ALCS. 1. "Back to Foulke! Red Sox fans have longed to hear it: the Boston Red Sox are World Champions!"
  5. I put the spoiler tags back in, sooooooo...
  6. They're back, as you can see. Remember, the tag is (spoiler)Text(/spoiler) You replace the () with [], of course.
  7. Guess you could call Midnight Oil a "tribute" to WDI, but I just liked the black and red color combo.
  8. Now, time for a little quick "as I read the show" feedback: - Hoff's always been good at promos like this. It shows he hasn't really taken any sides yet and has issues with multiple people. - I agree with CC: Black is just a big bully to the Boys. - Nice touch with the line of ladies for Tony's acceptance speech. He's completely full of himself and I like that he won't even bother defending it more than he has to. - Man, Josie had to make a lot of decisions under duress this week, huh? But: Where'd that come from? - I really enjoyed the interplay with Blonde, Faqu and Rodez in their segment. Jade seems a BIT like a plot device for his angle with Wright, but this should help the women's division nicely. - I see what was meant by the different styles of the women's division, as this was more American a match. Not as interesting to read as last week's match, but I like Valerie and Constance being the cheating bitch heel team while Molly is the Queen of Pinning Combinations. - Whoa, impromtu-ness. Quick but to the point. - Hmm, another women's match for GAB. The chicks are taking over, aren't they? - I always enjoy Tony's tag matches, and it's good to have the HRs back. - The HI-YAH tournament has been built up nicely. I'm calling Behemoth-Dude for the finals. - It's nice that Crystal is still very involved in things even though she hasn't had a match in a while. - Good short Mel/Black match. It wasn't squash-tastic in the least. And yeah, like Cole said, outside of the women's matches, I don't think any other match ended without some sort of run-in or beatdown. Really sells HD going out of control. - And the recruitment of Axel continues. It's coming off a bit like cult leaders trying to get a new member. Drek really should start chanting "One of us!" at him. - I'm satisfied about how my match went down since, even though I could have added more to the match segments, that ending was what I really wanted to get down. Where will this lead? Will an old friend return? Stay tuned. - I like how Tony and Axel are on the same wavelength regarding the GAB match; they both want to win on their own. - Whoa, everybody got a little pain in that Mad Machine match, didn't they? - Nice little bit with CSI and Josie, Hoff. Didn't know what was going to go in the show. - Coach quoting Popeye? LOL. SG and Zack always seem to work well together and the match itself was nice and wild, which of course lead to everything boiling over. - Agreed with Eskimo, the streetfight definitely had a lot of ECW flavor to it. Overall, a jam-packed show. Kind of made up for the show a few weeks ago that was a little on the bare side. GAB looks to be a damn STACKED show.
  9. I don't think it was ever said that these were custom made, and there's a copyright at the bottom that tells you who made it and where it came from. We're getting these from GetSkinned and Invisionize.
  10. More like LAZY~! alkeiper to me.
  11. Interleague continues in the AL parks as the Reds visit Fenway for the first time since the '75 World Series.
  12. Hoff's plans = Him + the nursery at the hospital + a bottle of KC Masterpiece barbeque sauce.
  13. PPVs are the last Sunday of every month (June 26th in this case)
  14. Done. Does this mean we need more West Coast mods?
  15. I'd definitely go with San Andreas here, not only because of the fact that the GTA engine has been polished and refined to near-perfection, but the story is by far the most engrossing of the three games and the missions themselves are the most fun and have the most variety. NFL 2K5 was a really nice alternative to the same tired Madden game. MVP 2004 (aside from the Lefty Glitch) had the best pitcher/batter interface ever in a baseball videogame.
  16. I have no idea what you're talking about. *Hides plans for green "SmarkPit" skin*
  17. Yeah, I forgot that the skins are only viewable by Mods and Admins, since they're still being worked on a bit. They're pretty nice. And why the hell did this happen AGAIN?
  18. Remember what I said last week about CSI being in trouble? That's this week.
  19. If you haven't noticed, there's some new skins available. Check them out. There's a bar at the bottom of the screen that lets you choose between them.
  20. Thumbs up for the Press Your Luck reference in the tag title match. Lots of good action this week, with a pretty surprising ending. The women's match was a nice piece of work and I appreciate the move explanations on moves I hadn't heard of. I'm guessing this new division is very Lucha-esque.
  21. Well, ND I don't mind too much since it was completely geared towards the audience that would vote for these things, although it was not as good as a movie as Rey in my eyes. I'm talking about stuff like Lindsey Lohan winning even though she wasn't even the best actor in Mean Girls (which was more of a good ensemble than one good actor sticking out) and Ben friggin' Stiller as Best Villain (Cruise, McAdam and Molina blew him away as bad guys/gals). No one really puts much merit into these awards anyway, so meh.
  22. A) Who wears this crap in public? B) Who blows 18 bucks on shirts when they know wearing them will either get them laughed at or beaten up by said public?
  23. So, did anyone watch this trainwreck? I watched Fallon's (mainly unfunny) monologue and drooled over Lacey Chabert's dress before changing channels. I did happen to catch that HORRID Triumph knockoff with Lindsey Lohan. And with the winners, I think we've seen another example of how moronic the MTV viewership is.
  24. I was thinking the same thing. Get rid of all the other quote tags. Or just C&P the part you want to quote and put that in the tags. Example. If I only wanted Downhome's post to show up: [quote=Mole,Jun 8 2005, 08:38 PM] [quote=Downhome,Jun 8 2005, 05:34 PM]Is there a way to change the quote feature so that when you do press the quote button, it [b]only[/b] quotes the actual post of the user, and not all pervious quotes? [right][snapback]1902353[/snapback][/right] [/quote] I was thinking the same thing. [right][snapback]1902461[/snapback][/right] [/quote] Delete [quote=Mole,Jun 8 2005, 08:38 PM] and I was thinking the same thing. [right][snapback]1902461[/snapback][/right] [/quote] See?
  25. You hit the reply button to quote a single post. Clicking the Quote button selects which posts you want to quote (if there's more than one).
