  1. It's sad how far Cheap Seats has fallen in quality as their second season went along. The live audience was completely unnecessary and the shows just became near unwatchable as they went on. The writing took a complete nosedive.
  2. Wow, pretty good tag match considering the lack of time that the writer had to put it together. The CSI promo and the Brickston tag match still haven't been edited in, so I'll hold off on specific feedback until they are.
  3. Yep, Yankees drop the first game to the Mets and lose yet ANOTHER game in the East standings. Now, off to the end of the O's game on TBS.
  4. Oh man, if Pedro throws a gem tomorrow night...... Who's going against Clement on Saturday in Philly? Yahoo doesn't have anyone listed. The other two matchups (Wakefield v. Lieber Friday and Wells v. Myers Sunday) look pretty good.
  5. I can hear the cries of disgust from Yankee Stadium from here.
  6. Don't look now, Yankees fans, because they might be about to drop to 4th.....again while the Sox climb to within 1/2 game of the Os. I also watched a bit of the PawSox game on NESN. First I've seen of Dustin Pedroia and I came away with a favorable impression.
  7. I'm still a little weary about Foulke. There was some solid contact by Indians hitters, including that bomb that went foul.
  8. Amen! In fact, we should have to PAY to say the trademarked names of the characters that the Creative Staff (especially the GENIUS of Stephanie McMahon) have taken YEARS of hard work to make them incredibly compelling and able to make such a profound connection with we fans who couldn't come up with good angles if our lives depended on it. So, what does everyone think will happen in the Match for the Belt With a Spinning Logo between That White Hip-Hop Artist, That Canadian, and That Other Canadian with the Big Bald Tattooed Fellow?
  9. I've got 24 more votes, so I'll throw 4 over to A-Rod to make you happy.
  10. Here's my ballot: AL C- J. Varitek, BOS 1B - M. Teixeira, TEX 2B - A. Soriano, TEX 3B - B. Mueller, BOS SS - M. Tejada, BAL OF - J. Damon, BOS OF - T. Nixon, BOS OF - M. Ramirez, BOS DH - D. Ortiz, BOS NL C - R. Hernandez, SD 1B - A. Pujols, STL 2B - C. Utley, PHI 3B - D. Wright, NYM SS - C. Izturis, LAD OF - B. Abreu, PHI OF - P. Burrell, PHI OF - C. Lee, MIL Ok, ok, so it's Homerpalooza on the AL side (at least I didn't vote for Millar and Bellhorn, unlike some people I saw at Fenway last Sunday), but hey, Nixon's playing well.
  11. I really hope that they don't give up TOO much in this deal (I assume the Shoppach is probably involved, which is fine), because honestly, their starting pitching really isn't that bad. Clement is probably #4 in the AL Cy Young race (behind Halliday, Garland and Buehrle). Wells is up and down, but the offense has the ability to bail him out and I have faith in him come October and I'm happy about Wake, Miller and Arroyo at the end of the rotation. And Schilling's coming back in a few weeks. Don't get me wrong, I'll jump up and down if they nab Schmidt, but they really need more help in the BULLPEN than the rotation.
  12. If they wanted to do a game show, BRING BACK TWO MINUTE DRILL!!!! Seriously, Kenny Mayne needs more screen time, not less. I still have the PC version and still play it from time to time.
  13. Uh....no? Looks like a thin stream of vomit. Hey, whatever gets YOUR rocks off.
  14. It varies, obviously it should be the last move of a match 99.999% of the time (case in point: Hogan's leg drop and the Pedigree) and should be sold like the opponent is being put in extreme pain (like the Sharpshooter), or puts them flat on their back (The Stunner). Unpredictability helps with some, but in the case of moves like the 619, or the People's Elbow, it's mostly about the setup (ESPECIALLY in the case of the Elbow) and who's doing it. A guy like HHH would be laughed out of the building if he tried to put that much into a simple elbow drop. One finisher I don't like is Jericho's current version of the Walls of Jericho, which is essentially a crappy Boston Crab. When he first came into the WWF, he used the Liontamer, which actually looks like it hurts with Jericho's knee in the guy's back bending him more on an upward angle.
  15. Could he at least change that damn avatar while he's at it?
  16. Which, of course, is completely moronic. Sox with a good comeback to get within one game of the O's. Pretty good series coming up against the Phils this weekend. I assume Leiber's pitching?
  17. For the old 16-bit games (and N64), there's always the wonderful world of emulation. Or hit up the previously-owned games section of EB for PS, PS2, Saturn or X-Box games.
  18. Honestly, I liked how things worked out in the end. The Savage-Flair match with its "Elizabeth was mine before she was yours!" angle added to it most likely would be better than any Hogan-Flair match that would have happened.
  19. Caught this on Fark: I don't mind to say that I'm actually a bit intrigued at this idea. Hey, if it draws some fans, more power to them. I'll gladly play one of the Yankees fans as the Red Sox if the season comes down to a one-game playoff for the division.
  20. BAH! Give me the Kane-Lita wedding over this one. Kane in a white tux, midget ring bearer and flower girl, a minister that was more convincing at being VERY uncomfortable, and don't forget the coup-de-gras:
  21. Spoiler tags work again, so use them if you have to spoil things. I also enjoyed the season opener. I missed the last few eps of the first season, but they caught me up pretty well. Some really funny moments included with the more dramatic moments. "Fag" "Super Fag" "Ultra Fag"
  22. They're the Devil Rays. That's all that needs to be said.
  23. Woody Paige's prediction of the Yankees being in 1st by the ASB isn't going to pan out if they can't even take series against the DEVIL RAYS. I just wish Aubrey Huff would start cranking out some dingers since I have him in a HR pool.
  24. Trot Nixon saves the bullpen's ass with a Web Gem catch in right. Can't this pen hold even a SIX run lead?
  25. True, and SD needs the shot in the arm. If Batista is the one that goes to SD with the title, he could eventually be in that mix, I think.
