I'm still in Dial-Up Hell (ca-ble-mo-dem???) so d/ling eps is out. I'll have broadband by the end of the year. Really. I'm seriously planning on it.

I don't want new episodes, but I'd like to see old episodes Alf and MST3K (the CC era, since I have almost every Sci-Fi ep. on tape) come back in syndication (although the latter would be pretty tough to do for various reasons).

She does a brief nude/sex scene. Can't really see much (can kind of make out her breasts), but it's something.

Jeopardy used to have a rule where once you went 5 days, or earned a certain amount ($40,000 I think), you were automatically retired and entered into the Tournament of Champions. This year they changed it to "you're on the show until you lose", which Ken is taking advantage of to a sick degree (30 fucking days?!). But unless Ken decides to stop himself, someone has to beat him, and they sure aren't throwing the best competition at him. But the guy sure seems to know where all the Daily Doubles are (If someone wants to throw out a Twenty-One-esque conspiracy theory out there).

Console holiday launches never seem like a great idea to me. If I was releasing a console, September or October seems like a perfect time to do it; it'll sell tons immediately, since people LOVE to have the latest gadget first (to answer Andrew's question above), and I'll probably have a good base established when the A-list games come out in late October-November, where people who waited until after launch to get the system would have a pretty good idea wether or not it is a good investment.

This is a part of Gamespot's story (posted on the 8th) about the date change: I really hope that Sega and Take-Two made sure that the developers were all but finished working on the game and debugging it before trying to one-up Madden like this, because if they release a rushed, buggy game, that would be a MAJOR setback for the whole franchise. I really hope Sega knows what it's doing.

"Cadet Kelly," a Disney Channel Movie, has the highest rating ever on the Disney Channel. I watched that movie last night, and she can carry a movie by herself. Oh, well, if she's involved in getting the highest rating on the DISNEY CHANNEL, I guess I don't have a leg to stand on. My point was that I can't see her carry a movie BEYOND Disney kiddie films. Wait.....why am I debating the acting talents of HILLARY DUFF?! Goddamn, I've been posting here too long.

Shrek 2 may crack $450M by the end of the summer. Incredible. And does anyone else think Hillary Duff is fucked once she becomes too old to be a "teen queen"? She doesn't seem the type that would be able to carry her own picture.
