  1. Thanks. I forgot about that. Just another example of why Flair keeps it in his arsenal. Wow, that was 11 years ago. Dames
  2. God, I hope that's not the most important thing my life will be remembered for. Dames
  3. First off, this isn't really happening or I'd be going fucking bananas. I wish it was. But hypothetically, I'd rather keep it small or else it becomes too hectic. MAYBE one other person on the team, but that's about it. I have no idea how big or small the supposed roster would be anyway. Dames
  4. Vince would rather placate Steph & Trips than listen to them and the entire writing team bitch about it....despite the fact that a good percentage of the locker room would prefer Heyman in power. The writing team are pretty much yes men writing for Vince's amusement anyway, so it's hard for Heyman to break that pattern. Dames
  5. Diesel won the World Title from Bob Backlund in 8 seconds in a match at Madison Square Garden in 94. Edge won his first IC title at a house show against Jeff Jarrett back in 98. There are TONS of examples, but the Diesel one is the most note worthy since it started the dreadful Diesel era of 95 and made Bret Hart look like a chump for not being able to beat Backlund in almost an hour when Nash did it in 8 seconds. Dames
  6. On an unrelated note, if I was able to choose a creative staff from those here at TSM, the top 2 on my list would be Loss & Rudo. That would be an interesting work environment for sure. Dames
  7. Even if there was a delay, it wouldn't stop Heyman from voicing his opinion eventually. It doesn't matter if it airs on TV, they don't care for his opinion backstage and they aren't going to give him a medium to express it. Dames
  8. If it was that easy, I would have done it years ago... Keep in mind that it's extremely difficult to break into the business without any connects (mine have been severly severed) and even harder to gain the respect of the locker room as well. Dames
  9. That company isn't stupid enough to put Heyman back on the air with a live mic for 2 hours with everything that's happened as of late. If Heyman has indeed been released, this would be the first time. A release is a termination of his contract, which I don't believe has happened before. Dames
  10. I still need to pick that up. I take it you have your X-Box online. Yeah, I play Rumble Pit online all the time. I'd like to think that I'm pretty damn good at Halo... But Legendary has KICKED MY ASS so far. Halo 1 wasn't this hard. Dames
  11. Yeah, I know. You know, I wish I'd be in a position where I could show Heyman that I could be of use to him in a creative fashion, just so I could work with the man. I'd love to hear his reaction to my Gerwitz story. Dames
  12. Those who are frustrated with Trips & Steph behind the scenes would have had a place to go...as would the ECW alumni that hadn't taken jobs with WWE yet. Dames
  13. Considering WWE is supposedly airing WCW PPV's in their entirety on their 24/7 service, I'd say that there is a distinct possibility. Dames
  14. I'll buy the Turning Point DVD, most definitely. As for the Best of 3LK, the only thing I'd care to see is Truth vs. Shamrock for the NWA Title...back in Week 8 of TNA's history. I hope they have the build up with Steamboat on there as well. Dames
  15. Nah, I had my mid-life crisis earlier this year. I'll be out of my fucking mind in a few years. Life's getting back to what most people would consider normal. Things are slowing down for me, but things get pretty hard when you're 100% on your own. No family in CT, didn't have a car for a while, facing my first winter driving now, paying bills blows & when I do go home, I have to run around and try and see everyone. Not to mention I work from 10 - 6:30 in a very stressful & competitive position, so when I get home at night, I just relax and play Halo 2 for a while. It's hard to get time for myself and when I do, I usually have to spend it cleaning up the apt. Luckily, I took care of a lot of things yesterday since I was off from work and this morning, so I'm just chillin for tonight & tomorrow. The first work day in January, Monday, is supposedly the worst day of the year for insurance, comparable to Black Friday or Xmas Eve in terms of shopping, so I need the rest. Dames
  16. Too bad it's the 10% that's on top. Dames
  17. Well, think of this way... Flair won the NWA Title with a move off the top, believe it or not and would get very close near falls back in the day. Obviously today, it rarely works, but has anyone ever pinned Flair off a top rope miss? If so, I can't recall it. He doesn't have much to lose, except maybe turning the tide of the match...but he always tries it as a desperation move anyway these days anyway. Dames
  18. You have no idea. I'm a mess. Dames
  19. That would also be about 10x more expensive to produce. Dames For the uninformed like myself...how so? First off, HBO is a premium channel, so you'd have limited capability, as opposed to network TV & basic cable, and unless it's a break out hit like the Sopranos, people aren't going to upgrade their cable service 10 bucks a month just for a wrestling show on TV so it'll be harder to build your audience. Second and most importantly...have you ever seen HBO do something that LOOKS low-budget these days? Everything is beautiful, shot in widescreen, hi-def, etc. The production values that they would impose on Heyman would be very costly and Heyman himself stated that he couldn't afford to upgrade them to go to the USA Network for ECW, so I sincerely doubt he'd be able to afford HBO. Dames
  20. I'm really excited about next Sunday's Raw PPV, not so much because of the matches themselves, but because they're going to be in Puerto Rico with a super hot crowd. Unfortunately for them, Carlito isn't part of the Raw roster, but it hit me like a ton of bricks after SD this past week that they could easily work him into the PPV. His new storyline is that he wants to get Teddy Long out of office as SD GM. They can easily say that Carlito was back home in P.R. recouping his shoulder injury and he appears in a backstage segment, looking for Eric Bischoff. He finds him and tells him a little bit about his plan and Bischoff seems interested (since they shot a couple of angles at the last 2 interpromotional PPV's about Bischoff & Long). Since Bischoff is more like a tweener right now and not a full fledged face, the fans would buy it. That's enough to pop the fans and add a dimension to his storyline. Just to add to that, lets say that Carlito happens to spit in someone's face from the Raw roster. He'll get the heel heat, but he won't be able to get his comeuppance since he's on SD...until the draft happens after Mania and you got yourself another feud there. Just spouting off ideas, what do you guys think? Dames
  21. Practicality is fine, I get that. My point is...with the technology we have today, this should NOT be a piece of shit. It should be the REAL Ms. Pac Man with a decent joystick. I'd sacrifice the other 4 games for it. Joysticks aren't that expensive today and other than the license, price shouldn't be an issue. Dames
  22. Hey GreatWhiteNope, that avatar you have, is that a shot of Jerry O'Connell from Scream 2, about to sing in the lunchroom to Sydney? If so, I can't believe that I fucking guessed that. Dames
  23. That would also be about 10x more expensive to produce. Dames
  24. It comes with having a Napoleon complex. Dames
  25. How about playing the original game with a MAME emulator for free? I've got Ms. Pac Man already. The whole point of this TV plug & play is that you can play it...on your TV. So, if it's going to cost 15-20 bucks for a shitty version of what you have just so you can play it on your TV screen, I'd say you can do a hell of a lot better. Dames
