  1. I can't believe that I'm saying this. Maven's new finisher is AWESOME. Dames
  2. That's just what Los Angeles CTU is feeding to the media. Jack's already been working on this story since 7am. Dames
  3. This is fucked up! And this is where leadership comes into play. You have a perfectly good writer WILLING to cover a show but the show doesn't get done because you tell him you are going to do it... then don't do it??? That is some bullshit. DAMES! WHERE ARE YOU??? There are 4 pages of a thread discussing your website and are nowhere to be found! Hell, even I came out of the woodwork for this. This nik story reminds me of ROH. In the beginning, ROH was barely covered and most people had to get reviews from Baisden... hardly a reliable resource. You were going to review the tapes. ROH was your puppy. You broke up with your girlfriend and we got a whopping two reviews. Jhawk was willing to do it and it took a near mutiny for you to agree to let him give it a go. Is the website a vehicle to promote Dames or a vehicle to promote new writers and get some wrestling discussion going? That is another reason I stopped working on the website. You and I clearly had two different visions of what we wanted TSM to be. When Sass came aboard I was ready to jump into it again but the same snafus and BS had to be dealt with. It took a group effort to convince you to feature the Cr-unch, the shoots and a history section. Were you upset we didn't ask or request a Dames section? Alright... First off, in response to Nik's comment, I initially did have plans to write up a Diatribe for New Year's Revolution. Nik told me about his intentions as well...and I did NOT tell him NOT to write one. Last Sunday, after the PPV, Nik IM'd me and gave me his opinion on the show, in what seemed to be a prep for his review for the show. In fact, I even told him that night that I probably wouldn't be able to do it and he said that he'd have it up in a couple of days, so quite frankly, his comments came as a shock. As for TSM being solely a vehicle for my work, if I wanted a Dames section, I would have requested one. I wouldn't have bothered reading TONS and TONS of articles when the site first started and turning down half the damn forum if I just wanted it to be about me. Will, you know exactly why I couldn't review the ROH shows and I even went as far as selling you the master copies of which I NEVER viewed because of how I felt. I have not watched a ROH show since the one I reviewed. Did it take a while for me to ok JHawk to review them? Yes and I felt really bad about that. I admit that I should have just been man enough to allow JHawk to step in and review them instead of hamming and hawing about whether or not I was ever going to do it. About the site itself... I still love TSM. It's something that I will always and forever be proud of, because it's something that we all put a lot of time and effort into and obviously, people feel the same way. I feel like I should take most, if not all of the blame here since I haven't been around. This entire year has been difficult for me. It was difficult for me to leave my family, my friends and the work I did here behind for months, but I knew that I could count on those I left in charge. Granted, it was mostly for the forum more so than the site itself and I understand that, but I am very grateful for the work that has been done in my absence and I do sincerely apologize for being gone 90% of the time. But Rudo is right. When I was back in NY, TSM was by far, my number one priority. After my big break up with my ex and losing my job(s) in NY, I threw everything I had into writing my columns, meeting with you guys in chats to discuss things and just be on the internet in general. Now, I'm barely online and the difference has been notable. That's not to say that I don't care at all. I just don't have the time that I used to in order to pump out as much material as I was doing and simply keeping an eye out like I was before. Now, in terms of the future...as I told a couple of people already, I can't just bury TSM and start over. This has history. Regardless of how many people have left, or how little interest there is in the product itself, we ALL helped build this. This isn't just my baby. Will, Dr. Tom, Sass, JHawk, PK, Nik, Loss, the list goes on and on of those who have put a shit load of time into this place and to just bury TSM and start fresh would feel like giving up and shitting on all that effort to me. So, the main question here is...what are we going to do about the site? A revamp is clearly in order here. New logos, new colors, new site layout, everything. However, if all of this were easy, we would have done this a while ago. We need a gameplan, we need to stick to it and execute it. This shouldn't be just my decision here. Many of you helped me when TSM first started, in many ways and you guys have just done SO MUCH for the site that to simply exclude everyone from the decision making process would be a huge slap in the face to all of you. We all need to seriously put our heads together and figure out what we can do here. My first step is to try and be around more often and try to bring back a semblence of what coordination we used to have. Dames
  4. "You're a fag", pretty much. Dames
  5. I'm watching it for the crowd. Dames
  6. As much as I like Storm and as much as I'd like to see the company do something nice for the guy...did he really think they were going to just build him a school in Calgary? I'd LOVE it, since Calgary has traditionally bred greatness, but that's just added expense for the company. Dames
  7. It's dying because the show is over and I'm simply waiting for Season 5 to be released on DVD so that this can pick up one more time and then it shall take its place next to the Buffy thread. Dames
  8. I would have, but he didn't get past the first row. The guys in front of me did sign it and as a matter of fact, they had a Puerto Rican flag that they were waving and that's what got his attention. It was awesome. You couldn't see that on SD on TV, cuz the hard cam was focused on the ring. I was by the ramp on the right side towards the front. Dames
  9. Yes and she's more talented than all of the woman they just hired. She was also very over in TNA as part of Raven's Gathering. Dames
  10. Her appeal is her 41" inch legs. She also made a name for herself in WCW prior to coming over, winning a Nitro search to enter the wrestling business, which wasn't unlike the Diva Search earlier this year. Dames
  11. One of the most memorable ref bumps that I've ever seen took place at Wrestlemania III, during Steamboat/Savage in '87. I believe it was Dave Hebner who took a Bret-ish sternum first bump into the turnbuckle and flipped backwards, leading to the George Steele interference. Dames
  12. I see kids driving Escalades, Hummers, and Mercedes and shit all the time...An escalade isn't that "oooooh" worthy. For a kid who makes his money, An escalade is loose change. Where the hell do you live? Dames I'm guessing they live in a little town called Perfect. I can see Curt Hennig as the mayor there. Dames
  13. Since this has become as issue of late, I'd like to make a statement here in order for there to be no confusion. No personal information of other posters or webmasters of this or any other board (such as addresses and phone numbers) should be posted on the board, unless posted by the persons themselves. Anyone who does this and/or uses it to harrass the person in question shall be banned from the board. Dames

Mole, it didn't sound like you took it too seriously anyway. You would have been dismissed eventually. Dames

  16. Do you really want to put him on TV and in the ring after 8 weeks of training? They had far LESS time than the Tough Enough 1, 2 & 3 kids to train and yet all of the others went to OVW for at least a few months. The only logical reason why they should keep him on TV (but then again, this is WWE that we're talking about) is to keep his face on TV until the Royal Rumble, where he'll promptly get his ass kicked by someone in the Rumble and shafted to OVW, I hope. Dames
  17. Ok, include the fact that he's got people signing a petition and you can very well do my idea then. I was at the Smackdown taping, btw, in the 2nd row by the right side ramp. Dames
  18. Wow. Just wow. I hope the fans that were there sure appreciated the match. I enjoyed the music in the video package. It's not your typical wrestling music (mostly rock...or Creed), but still gave a sense of urgency in the match. Dames
  19. Not exactly...since he was put in a casket, it could be considered his last appearance on TV with no real reason to explain it after that. Dames
  20. Jesus, this guy has got NOTHING. I mean, despite the fact that Cena's not a terribly good worker or anything, I kind of like the guy, but he really does make it hard to be a fan of his with this lame shit. It wasn't nearly as bad as it sounds. It was quite entertaining actually, but then again, it all depends on how its aired on TV. The crowd definitely was into Cena though, he got the biggest pop by far on the show, even better than Takers. Dames
  21. Hmm, I suppose so, though why Angle needed to be in his underwear and Luther and Jindrak needed to be beaten up again, I'll never understand. Angle was in his underwear because Angle always gets great reactions when put in comically embarassing situations. As for why Luther & Jindrak were beaten up as well, Show already proved at the PPV that he can beat all 3 of them at the same time and they aren't the ones in the main event, so they don't need to be protected. Dames
  22. *Slaps forehead* Other than the Rey-Eddie match, this show brings a new meaning to the term pointless. I was at the show as well, (2nd row!) and the segment wasn't pointless as it was revealed later on that it was a plot by JBL to have his two challengers at the Rumble to be at each others throats. The Diva that was spit on by Carlito was Joy, which is why she was in the shower when Angle went in there looking for Weber. Dames
  23. Eh, I wouldn't believe it either if I wasn't actually there. That's one of the main reasons why I didn't make it a big deal back then. Keep in mind that this was almost 5 years ago and I've got nothing to gain from it at this point. If you believe me, great. If not, so what? My life isn't any better over it. Dames
  24. So...which one's which? Dames
