  1. I'm not going to take a pay cut to work for the Girl Scouts. Dames
  2. And so he promptly gets a job ordering 13 y/o girls around Nope...just data entry. If I had to order them around, then hell yeah I'd take that job! Just up the pay! Dames
  3. Actually, if it was possible, I wouldn't mind working in intelligence. CIA, FBI, CTU.... or be a high ranking official for SOMETHING. Dames
  4. I just want to order people around for a living and get paid well for it. Dames
  5. If I was younger, I probably would have taken the job, but I know my worth now. And my time isn't worth a lifetime supply of cookies. Dames
  6. Shiet, Believe Dat. Dames
  7. The woman actually said that I'd get free cookies out of it, no shit. That's not enough to make me work there. UP THE PAY~! WOMAN! Dames
  8. I don't know about Chave, but I don't know anyone who WOULDN'T want to jerk off after staring at me for 10 minutes. Dames
  9. I went dressed SHARP to midtown Manhattan today for an appointment I had at 10:30 to talk about a position I found on Monster.com. I knew it was a job agency, which I tend to dislike, but they have gotten me full time work in the past, so I went anyway. Anyway, I get there and I have to fill out a TON of paperwork (which I hate...just take my resume) before they make me take a typing/data entry test. Now, their keyboard wasn't something that I'm used to, so I did worse than I normally do. It wasn't one of those Microsoft Ergonomically Correct keyboards or anything, but the backspace key was the size of one key and not two, so I kept entering a hyphen instead of backspacing, which doubled the time I took to correct errors and slowed me down significantly. Anyway, the woman interviewing me said that my scores were very good (which means as I suspected, I'm overqualified for any bullshit data entry positions) and she had a position for me. Lo and behold, it was a data entry position that starts Monday at 11 dollars an hour. Now, that might sound great to some of you, but for me, it's a step back and I'm THROUGH taking pay cuts. THEN, she told me that it was for the Girl Scouts of America. At that point, in my mind...I cringed. She told me to call back at 2 to see if the order went through and we would talk about it some more, so I left. I started listening to my mp3 player, strutting to 50 Cent...and realized...that I would be working for the GIRL SCOUTS OF AMERICA?!?! I felt so emasculated, I went to Best Buy and bought G-Unit's Beg For Mercy album. I haven't bought a CD in 2 years. Anyway, after consulting a friend, I decided I wasn't going to take the position so I called at 2 and turned it down. I KNOW I can find better. Girl Scouts of America...I'll never be able to live that down. Especially if I'm involved in a battle rap. Dames
  10. Actually, I have a funny story about a job opportunity that I turned down today, but I'll start a new thread for that. My ideal job right now is any job where I'm important...and order people around. Power has gone to my head, children. Dames
  11. The next telemarketer who calls for my mom...I'm going to tell them that I won't give her the phone until I get their personal home phone number. If they ask me why, I'll tell them straight out that I want to call THEM at the most unappropriate times possible. Dames
  12. What in the world? For those of you who think I'm the nicest guy in the world, I verbally berated a telemarketer for calling at 8:30 this morning. I loathe them. Dames
  13. That's exactly how I feel. The way I see it, if I'm going to perform a duty where I'll be yelled at, at least pay me well for it. I'd fucking quit McD's if I were you. Dames
  14. Bah...I had a picture of the Predator in there and once I realized it came up, I deleted my post. Damn your quick quoting ability. Dames
  15. I feel bad for them. They wanted it all...or nothing at all. Ok, that was cheesy, but half of you guys have no idea where the pun is, DO YOU!? Dames
  16. Chief Henry! Dames
  17. It is REQUESTED~! Dames
  18. Banky, would you let it go? You came back. Even I stated that your banning was wrong. Let it go. Dames
  19. Nope, just an error on my part that was just corrected. Thank you. Dames
  20. For those of you who have claimed favoritism, keep in mind that I brought back a few posters that weren't exactly liked by myself or a majority of the board for things they were unjustly banned for. Tim Cooke and Johnson immediately spring back to mind. Dames
  21. You know, now that I think about it... The big "scandal" that was going to supposedly bring down Palmer was a bit of a letdown, wasn't it? I think it will get very interesting if someone finds out about the payoff though. Dames
  22. The difference between Game and Sakura is that Game was fully aware of the rule and had been warned in the past for various violations. Dames
  23. Indeed I am paying for it, so any flack should go right to me. As for the "bad precedent", I'm trying to correct things, not make it worse. Now there should be no confusion anymore and I know for a fact that she knows better. Dames
  24. Tony doesn't take shit from almost anyone, he came through CLUTCH in Season 1 when he killed the assassin that came after Teri, stood his ground against Mason in Season 2 when he was being a prick, took over CTU with flying colors, etc. How could you not like the guy? Dames
  25. Last week, a poster by the name of Sakura was banned in the No Holds Barred folder (now Hardcore Discussion) for wishing death on the poster The Mighty Damaramu. They were in the middle of a heated discussion in the WWE folder where the subject of wishing death on Vince McMahon became a running gag. She posted a thread entited "I wish death on Damaramu" in her first post in NHB and was banned for it. She since made her plea to myself and the mods based on the fact that she didn't know that was against the rules (since it wasn't in the Rules & Regulations and never went into NHB and the thread was clearly a joke) and the mods and I have decided that she will be allowed back in. This will be the last time something like this will occur. There have been too many incidents where people have confused "No Holds Barred" to mean that anything goes and that is certainly not the case. Dames
