We return to HeldDOWN, with eight men standing in the ring, ready for some clusterfuckin'! BUFFER Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is the Mid South Eight Man Elimination Match for the OAOAST X-Division Championship. Two men will start with the other six able to tag in at any time. Eliminations occur as result of pinfalls, submissions, countouts and disqualifications and the last man standing will be the X-Division Champion. Introducing the participants. First, from Windsor, Ontario Canada...weighing one hundred and thirty six pounds. SEAN... BRYANT! "BOOOOOOOOO!" BUFFER Also from Windsor, Ontario Canada. He weighs two hundred and seventeen pounds... "THE GRRRRRAAAPLER!" ALEX... BRYANT! "BOOOOOOOOO!" BUFFER Weighing two hundred and seventeen pounds...the holder of the OAOAST X-Cup! "THE ROLE MODEL!" JACOB LYYYYYYYNEEEEE! "YEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" BUFFER Weighing in at two hundred and thirteen pounds. MIKEEEEEYYY TETHEEERRRSSS!!! "YEEEAAAHHH!" BUFFER From Butte Montana and weighing two hundred and four pounds. "DEVASTATIN'"... DAAAAANNYYY... DOUGLAAAASSSS!!! "BOOOOOOOOOOOO!" BUFFER From Japan! He is the reigning HI-YAH Jr. Heavyweight Champion! YUJI... CHUUUSSSAAAAAKIII!!!" "YEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" BUFFER Hailing from Gold Coast, Queensland Australia. He weighs one hundred and ninety five pounds. "THE LOOKS!"... SAAAAAXXOOON AAAAUUSSIIIEEE!!! "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" BUFFER And finally, the reigning and defending OAOAST X-Division Champion of the world! From Grand Rapids, Michigan. He weighs two hundred and eight pounds. He is "SILKY SMOOTH!" LEEEEOON... RRRRROOODDEEEZZZ!!!! "YEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!" With the eight men introduced, Michael Buffer exits the ring post-haste, whilst the eight men are now left to decide amongst them who is to start. Quickly The Bryants exit to one corner and make sure they're ready to work as a team, while Douglas exits to a corner also. Yuji and Lyne step out onto another corner and it seems Mikey is ready to start off. As is Aussie. And the champion, Rodez. COLE Well, of course, this match was supposed to be a part of Climax. Unfortunately, the bus carrying a number of the competitors in this match broke down, causing the match to be postponed. CABOOSE So what's the excuse for it being late this time. COLE ...it's not late. CABOOSE Then why does my personal organiser say today is Frida... COLE Fourth wall Boose. Fourth wall. A brief arguement is going on in the ring between Aussie Saxon and Mikey Tethers, leaving Leon to wait for an opponent. And wait. And wait some more. Until finally Rodez gives up on waiting and steps to the last remaining vacant corner... *DING DING DING* ...and the bell rings, with Saxon and Mikey apparantely unaware that they are the legal men. DOUGLAS Start the dang match, idiots! The shout from the Devatatin' One catches Saxon's attention and the Aussie quickly turns around, forearming Douglas right in the face. Mikey quickly capitalises and pushes Saxon out of the ring, before grabbing Douglas and hiptossing him over the top and into the ring. The referee has meanwhile called a tag, unbeknownest to Douglas who quickly tries to leave the ring, only to be schoolboyed back by Mikey... ONE! TWO! Douglas kicks out, rolling to his feet and coming with a clothesline at Mikey. Mikey ducks as Douglas swings a full 360, back into a forearm from Mikey...and a second...before Mikey leaps onto Douglas's thighs, attempting a monkey flip. However, Douglas catches Mikey coming and presses him off, sending Mikey crashing to the mat. Quickly Mikey rolls back to his feet, charging once more and brushing past Douglas, bouncing off the ropes and brushing past Douglas again. Danny looks a little bemused now as Mikey hits the ropes again, building up a big head of steam... ...only to get shoulder-blocked down by Douglas! "BOOOOOOOO!" The crowd boo Douglas as he drags Mikey up, scooping him effortlessly off the canvas and slamming him back down. Mikey is quick to get back up, but Douglas meets him again with a scoop and a slam. Again though, Mikey snaps right back up and walks into another scoop. This time though, Mikey floats over Douglas' head and drives him down on the way with a diving reverse DDT! COLE Wow! That'll give you a headache, daddio! Douglas senses the tide turning and quickly scrambles across the ring, reaching up to the first corner he comes to...and tags in Alex Bryant, before scurrying from the ring. Slowly The Grappler enters the ring, eyeing Mikey up like a piece of meat, ready to be cooked and eaten in some sort of bread or bun. On the outside meanwhile, Douglas is having trouble finding a corner to climb to, with Saxon Aussie still glaring at him...eventually climbing up beside Sean Bryant. In the ring, Alex Bryant drops into a readied position and beckons Mikey in. But Mikey is smarter than to try and out-wrestle Bryant, instead tagging in Yuji Chusaki! "YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" COLE And the crowd erupt for the HI-YAH Jr. Heavyweight Champion! Could he become a double champion here tonight on HeldDOWN~? COACH Well, yeah, if he wins. COLE ...indeed. Yuji strides confidently into the ring, grabbing the oncoming Bryant in a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Quickly he pulls Alex down into a side headlock, only for Alex to drop and roll, leaning Yuji onto his shoulders. ONE! TWO! Yuji kicks off of his shoulders, hanging onto the headlock he had applied on Alex. Pushing to his feet, Bryant fires a couple of forearms into the side of Yuji's body, weakening him up enough to push him to the ropes. Yuji hangs onto the ropes as he hits them, forcing Bryant to charge. But Yuji raises a boot, catching Bryant flush in the jaw. Away staggers Yuji, with Bryant following in and grabbing on a side headlock on the HI-YAH Jr. Heavyweight Champion. Grabbing hold of Bryant's wrist and twisting out of the headlock, Yuji applies a hammerlock on Bryant before chaining into a side headlock of his own. But Bryant quickly picks Yuji's ankle and pulls him off of his feet and to the canvas, causing him to release the headlock. Bryant now grabs Yuji's ankle once more, only for Yuji to push Bryant off with his feet, causing Bryant to roll across the ring, Yuji quick to follow. Bryant is ready to get up but drops back down, Yuji rolling over Bryant...and we're at a stand-off! CABOOSE Tut tut tut. Shoulda kicked him in the face. COLE In the face of great action like this, that is all you can say? Bryant and Yuji both stand back up and glare each other down for a moment...before Yuji feels a tap on his shoulder from Leon Rodez, who has just tagged himself in as a result. Yuji shrugs and exits the ring, as Leon enters in his place. COLE Well, the champion stepping in for the first time in this match. It'd probably be wiser for him to stay on the apron however. COACH Yeah, but then you'd have to mention how cowardly it was. Leon loosens himself up as he moves in on Bryant, The Grappler waiting. Scooting behind Rodez, Bryant locks on a waistlock and sweeps Rodez's feet out from under him and taking him to the mat. Rodez quickly shimmies to the side, into a seated position before pulling one of Bryant's hands out to the side and sliding behind Bryant with a hammerlock on. Pushing to his feet, Bryant hooks a hand under Rodez's jaw and springs off the mat, landing and flipping Rodez over with a snapmare. But Rodez hangs onto the hammerlock, shifting the weight so that he remains in control of Bryant. Bryant doesn't stay down for long though, pulling himself back up and connecting with a back elbow to Rodez's recently recovered nose. And a second... ...but Rodez ducks a third, allowing Bryant to stagger backwards... *SLAP!* "WHOOOOOO!" ...where he nails him with a knifedge chop, causing the off-guard Bryant to topple through the ropes and to the floor! COLE Leon Rodez with a little more 'cutting edge' in that exchange than Yuji in his, if you'll pardon the pun. As Bryant slowly pulls himself up on the outside, it seems his cousin Sean doesn't appreciate Rodez's abilities as he runs into the ring and barges Rodez out to the floor with Alex. And quickly Alex grabs Rodez in a side headlock while making a motion to his cousin, who suddenly sprints across the ring. Sean's crossfire is locked on Rodez as he sprints back... ...into a Danny Douglas clothesline! "BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Douglas does a little celebratory strut at cutting Sean's dive off, but he doesn't see Jacob Lyne walking up behind him and hooking him up and over the top rope. Douglas, Rodez and both Bryants are all grouped on the outside now as Jacob Lyne walks over to the ropes, leaping over the top rope...AND WIPING OUT ALL FOUR WITH A PLANCHA! "JA-COB! JA-COB! JA-COB!" With the crowd chanting his name, Jacob hauls himself slowly off the concrete floor as the rest of the competitors around him try to do the same. And whilst they do so, Mikey Tethers is ready to dive. But Yuji Chusaki suddenly enters the ring, charging and wiping out Mikey with a clothesline! Only for Saxon to enter the ring and spin Yuji around, hooking him up and over with a hurricanrana that sends Yuji flying throat first into the middle rope. The ropes bounce him back towards the centre of the ring. Meanwhile, Saxon exits to the apron and begins to climb to the top rope. COLE Chaos has erupted early in this one! Saxon reaches the top rope and stops as he sees Mikey advancing, adjusting his positioning slightly before launching off the top and somersaulting himself into Tethers! Both Saxon and Mikey hit the canvas hard, pulling themselves slowly up whilst Yuji lines them up... *SLAP!* "WHOOOOOO!" *SLAP!* "WHOOOOOO!" ...chopping first Mikey, then Saxon! Both stagger a little as Yuji whips Mikey hard into the turnbuckles, before yanking Saxon the same way and piling the two up in the corner. As both men recline in the corner, as Yuji lines them up. CHUSAKI HEEEE-YAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! Letting out a war-cry, Yuji charges...AND NAILS A RUNNING DROPKICK IN THE CORNER!!! Saxon takes the dropkick flush in the face, snapping his head back into Mikey's! The two men clock heads and slump to either side, Saxon falling through the ropes to the floor. Mikey isn't so lucky though, as he falls right at Yuji's feet. Quickly, Yuji pulls Mikey up to his knees and places him in a standing headscissors, quickly checking that the other competitors are out of the way. Which they are, brawling on the floor. Which allows Yuji to double underhook Mikey's arms and hoist him into the air...before sitting out, dropping Mikey down with a tiger driver! ONE! TWO! THREEE! *DING* "MIKEY TETHERS...ELIMINATED!" As Yuji rolls Mikey's lifeless body out of his lap and to the floor below, Sean Bryant has rolled into the ring and charges past Yuji, coming back... *SMACK!* ...INTO A YUJI SAVATE KICK!!! "OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!" Sean almost flips a full 360 degrees from the combined effects of impact and momentum, landing awkwardly on his head. Yuji simply bends down, making the cover... ONE! TWO! ...NO! The pin is broken by Alex Bryant, pulling Yuji off of the cover...AND DOWN INTO THE BORDER CITY STRETCH! COLE Bryant has the Jr. Heavyweight Champion wrapped up! This doesn't look good for the HI-YAH representative! CABOOSE Who cares? It's not like he works for us. He works for HI-YAH. COLE So? CABOOSE So...he's from Japan. He's evil! Bryant leans back with all his might, stretching out Yuji's neck to it's breaking point. But Yuji has the ropes in his sight and tries desperately to pull himself towards the nearest escape. Bryant pulls back once more...but as he does, Jacob Lyne rolls into the ring. Only to stop, realising that Yuji's elimination would only do him good. Luckily for Yuji though, Leon Rodez rolls in moments later and proves more loyal...or stupid, whatever...as he breaks the hold and quickly pitches Bryant out over the top, wiping out Douglas as he flies to the floor. Meanwhile, Rodez turns around looking for some more action... ...and finds himself faced with Jacob Lyne! COACH Woah boy! COLE Former partners face to face here. These two men were team-mates around the time of The Underground's invasion of the OAOAST. Lyne and Rodez both stop and a staredown ensues between both former partners, the crowd buzzing as the two step forward until they're nose to nose. At which point, Saxon Aussie suddenly enters the ring and charges up behind the unaware Rodez, shunting him into Lyne! The two clock heads and crash across the ring, as Saxon turns back and pulls Yuji Chusaki up from the canvas, dropkicking him backwards and into the corner. Yuji bounces off of the turnbuckles and staggers out, as Saxon leapfrogs Yuji, backflipping off of the middle rope and backflipping over the HI-YAH Jr. Heavyweight Champion, hooking his legs around his head and hurricanraning him across the ring. Saxon stands back up and poses, getting some screams from the females in attendance. But as Saxon's back is turned, a rolling dropkick from Sean Bryant sends him crashing to the outside. Now though, Bryant has his back turned, not seeing Leon Rodez sneaking up behind him and hooking Sean's hands around his throat, into a Japanese stranglehold. Sean tries to pull his arms free but can't, so instead places a foot on the middle rope. "ONE!" The referee starts the count, as Sean plants his other foot on the middle rope as well, for posterity. "TWO!" But Rodez isn't done. "THREE!" Popping his hips... "FOUR!" ...AND THROWING SEAN OVER, DROPPING HIM ON HIS GOD-DAMN HEAD~!!! COLE JAPANESE STRANGLEHOLD SUPLEX!?!?! CABOOSE Damn spot-monkeys. Sean flops to the canvas, as Rodez turns him over into the cover... ONE! TWO! THREEEEEE!!! *DING* "SEAN BRYANT...ELIMINATED!" Looking decidedly concerned, Alex Bryant crawls over to check on his cousin as Rodez gets back up...only to get socked down, by a Danny Douglas clothesline. COLE Folks, we'll be right back so don't go anywhere...this match shall continue!! *** COMMERCIAL BREAK *** COLE Welcome back to HeldDOWN~!, where during the break we saw the eliminations of both Alex Bryant and Jacob Lyne. Now, back to the action... CABOOSE That's kind of a cop-out, isn't it? COLE How? CABOOSE Well, you come back from a break and simply say 'this guy has been eliminated'...leaving it at that? Seems kinda...lazy. COLE Fine. Roll replays... *** REPLAYS *** Swinging neckbreaker from Douglas on Lyne! ONE! TWO! Rodez in for the sa... THREEEEE!! *DING* "JACOB LYNE...ELIMINATED!" ......... But just as Bryant looks ready to grab Yuji from behind, he finds himself cradled to the canvas, crucifix style by Leon Rodez... ONE! TWO! THREEEE!!! *DING* "ALEX BRYANT...ELIMINATED!" *** END REPLAYS *** COLE So now, four men remain. Leon Rodez, Yuji Chusaki, Danny Douglas and Aussie Saxon. One of these four men will leave tonight as the X-Division Champion of the world. In the ring are Yuji Chusaki and Danny Douglas, Douglas stomping away on the fallen HI-YAH superstar as boos are currently ringing around the arena. Likely because Douglas had hit a lowblow on Chusaki not twenty seconds ago. As the boos continue to sound out, Douglas takes a moment to make a belt motion around his waist in Rodez's direction before he scoops Yuji from the canvas. Quickly, Douglas throws Yuji across the ring and into the corner, right beside Saxon Aussie. But rather than tag himself in, Saxon steps back until Douglas tags him in. COLE As you can see, Saxon and Douglas have isolated Yuji Chusaki here and are working him over. Infact, this match has almost descended into a tag team format. CABOOSE Who'd'a thunk it? Stepping in, Saxon grabs Yuji and calls Douglas over, before the two men irish whip Yuji across the ring. Yuji ducks underneath a double clothesline attempt from the two men, coming back off the ropes...as suddenly, Saxon leaps into the air with a dropkick. Douglas simply turns away and laughs at the thought of doing something so adventurous as dropkick someone, so Yuji runs into a single dropkick. Turning his head, Saxon wonders where Douglas went. But instead he shrugs and makes a cover... ONE! TWO! Kickout. Saxon drags Yuji straight back up by the head, hooking him into position for a suplex. Yuji fights out with a series of shots to the gut, but Saxon breaks and dropkicks Yuji straight in the chest, sending him flipping backwards... ...into a tag from Rodez! "YEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" The crowd pop as in comes Rodez, charging...and clotheslining down Saxon! Up scrambles the Australian, but a second clothesline puts him straight back down. Douglas now tries to come in, but Rodez sees him running over and sends a clothesline his way too. Managing to duck, Douglas runs onto the ropes. But Rodez hooks him as he comes back, hiptossing him over...cradling him up...as suddenly Saxon rolls over. Suddenly though, Yuji charges from the corner and SMASHES Saxon with a forearm. Dazed, Saxon staggers around, getting grabbed by Yuji and scooped up on top of Douglas. Now Rodez has just under four hundred pounds combined weight in his arms, which drops immediately down across his knee! COLE A DOUBLE Silky Scoop Loop! Wow! Douglas takes most of the move obviously, with Saxon feeling the after-effects also. Quickly Yuji pulls Saxon away and pushes him into a corner, walloping him in the jaw with a few more forearms, whilst Rodez drops into a lateral press on Douglas. ONE! TWO! T.. NO! Leaping back up, the relatively fresh Rodez pulls Douglas to his knees and quickly fires off some right hands, watching on as Yuji is continuing to do the same with forearms to Saxon. Rodez then backs up, lining up Douglas and booting him in the jaw! Douglas rocks on his knees, as Rodez boots him again! But a third is blocked, by a lowblow from Douglas! "BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" COACH Lowblow, right in the Ro-nads! COLE And the referee didn't see it, busy pulling Yuji off of Saxon Aussie! Yuji turns away and sees the dis-orientated Douglas trying to pull himself up, deciding to hit the ropes and come back. Douglas reaches one knee just as Yuji comes back, launching off the planted knee...and connecting with a shining enziguri! The blow sends Douglas tumbling to the side and rolling out of the ring, as now Yuji encourages Rodez to get back up. However, behind him, Saxon Aussie is closing in...leaping onto Yuji's shoulders and victory rolling Yuji over... ONE! T... Yuji kicks backwards, reversing the pinning predicament... ONE! TWO! Saxon kicks out, scrambling to his feet as Yuji rolls back onto his feet acrobatically. Hitting the ropes, Saxon comes back with a crossbody, but Yuji sees it coming and manages to catch Aussie in his arms. But as Yuji catches Saxon, Rodez is back up and clubs Yuji in the back, before hooking on a waistlock. Yuji hangs onto Saxon despite being seriously dazed, as Rodez looks for the german suplex...but can't lift both Yuji and the cradled Saxon. Breathing deeply, Rodez tries again. But again, the weight is too much. COLE Rodez can't lift this much weight, single handedly. That's about four hundred pounds he's looking to german suplex, one way or another! Giving up, Rodez releases the waistlock and instead dives forward, hooking Yuji's head and bulldogging him down...causing Yuji to crush Saxon with a fall forward slam in the process! But Yuji rolls off of Saxon, clutching his ribs and unaware that he could have had the cover. Quickly Rodez turns to boot Douglas off of the apron, before turning back... RODEZ STREET! SMARTS! Rodez is ready to teach someone some Street Smarts, waiting for one of the two men in the ring with him to get back up. First to begin doing so is Saxon, but as he reaches his feet Rodez grabs "The Looks" and hurls him out of the ring, out to the floor. Meanwhile, Yuji is struggling to his feet as well. Rodez catches him on his knees with a kick, before pulling him up and applying the inverted front facelock, hooking up the tights and lifting... ...but Yuji floats behind Rodez! The X-Division Champion stops, as Yuji hooks on a full nelson... ...AND POPS RODEZ ONTO HIS HEAD!!! "OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" CABOOSE Holy moly! COLE RELEASE DRAGON SUPLEX!!! Rodez slumps onto his back, moments before Yuji collapses on top of him... ONE! TWO! THREE... NOOOOOOOOOO!!! "YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Yuji looks positively shocked as Rodez's shoulder explodes off of the canvas at the very last possible moment! The crowd too are shocked, cheering wildly as Yuji gets to his feet, pleading with the referee to change his mind. As he does though, Danny Douglas creeps into the ring and rolls him up... ONE! TWO! DOUGLAS GRABS THE TIGHTS.... THREEEE!!! "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" *DING* "YUJI CHUSAKI...ELIMINATED!" CABOOSE And there goes the Junior Heavyweight Champ. Enjoy the flight home buddy. COLE Well, thank goodness his title wasn't on the line. Danny Douglas STOLE that victory, no doubts about it...Douglas used the tights for leverage. But Douglas doesn't care how he scored the fall, busy celebrating the fall as the desolant Yuji is told to leave the ring. Meanwhile, Saxon Aussie is climbing to the top. Rodez is groggily reaching his feet just now as Saxon reaches the top, quickly making his choice as he tumbles off the top... ...but Rodez catches Saxon as he attempts a somersault seated senton! Falling back, Saxon tries for a hurricanrana instead but Rodez is able to block, before stepping over Saxon's left arm. Struggling not to let his right arm go the same way, Saxon thrusts around in Rodez's grip... *SMACK!* Until Douglas dropkicks him square in the face, allowing Rodez to hook the other arm, before sitting back with the Sitdown Sunset Bomb... ONE! TWO! But Douglas breaks the count! COLE Now why would he do that? CABOOSE Because he's bad, babay! COLE Forget I asked. Pulling Rodez up, Douglas is smiling broadly as he lines Rodez up... *SLAP!* "WHOOOOOO!" But gets chopped by Rodez! *SLAP!* "WHOOOOOO!" And again! *SLAP!* "WHOOOOOO!" A third time, causing Douglas to howl and try to run for cover. But Rodez grabs Douglas by the tights and pulls him backwards, hooking on a waistlock. Douglas fires back a couple of elbows to quickly break himself free, hitting a third for good measure. As the waistlock breaks, Douglas STRUTS~! out of the hold and turns around with fingers extended, for some eye poking fun. But he doesn't reckon on Saxon Aussie leapfrogging Rodez, landing on Douglas with a seated senton... ONE! TWO! Douglas throws his feet up, hooking Saxon over for a sunset flip... ONE! TWO! But Saxon rolls to the side, taking Douglas' feet with him and turning the Devastatin' One onto his shoulders... ONE! TWO! Douglas shifts again, back to the sunset flip pin... ONE! TWO! Saxon rolls out, pushing forward on the legs and stacking Douglas... ONE! TWO! But Douglas kicks out, flipping Saxon back into the sunset flip pin in the process... ONE! TWO! Kickout by Saxon! Now both men roll to their feet, Saxon swinging and missing with a palm strike, leaving himself open for a waistlock from Douglas... *SMAAACK!* ...AND A RODEZ SUPERKICK! "YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Saxon's head cracks back into Douglas who weakly holds onto the waistlock, as Rodez dives behind and sunset flips Douglas over, causing him to german suplex Saxon in the process... ONE! COLE He's got them both pinned! TWO! THREEEEEE!! "YEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" *DING DING DING!* "DANNY DOUGLAS AND SAXON AUSSIE...ELIMINATED! Therefore, your winner of the match and STILL OAOAST X-Division Champion... LEON... RRRROOOODDEEEEEZZZZ!!!" Rolling from the ring, Rodez gratefully takes his X-Division Title and raises it into the air, whilst the dizzied Douglas sits up and wonders exactly what the hell just happened. The answer clear, as he catches sight of Rodez. Rodez staggers off, belt in hand, as Douglas starts to slam his fists into the canvas, unable to believe he lost. COLE Man, what a showing from the X-Division Champion here tonight, defeating seven challengers here! CABOOSE He didn't defeat seven. COACH Technically, he did... CABOOSE Oh, don't you start sucking up to him too. Rodez didn't pin seven men... COLE But he beat seven men, to RETAIN his title! CABOOSE ...whatever.

SWF Lockdown Card, 1-5-05!
King Cucaracha replied to Chuck Woolery's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
New stats will go up in a matter of moments. Apologies to Muzz if he's already started with my old stats, but I think I caught something NYD and just got outta bed. Oh, and I'll be in the ring after opening promo, so that'll help on the word-count. -
I'll have something. I'll also be posting my 8-man on the board soon. Illness sucks.
-
I will...hence me responding to Toxx's question.
-
Foley, Joe and Jonny Storm have also been confirmed.
-
Retarded logic at it's best. Unless that was suppoed to be humour. It's hard to tell with you sometimes.
-
What the hell, I'll take responsibility.
-
I haven't been watching Raw for a few months, so I don't know what you're talking about, but your description sounds like that of a move Reno used in WCW, called 'Roll The Dice' or 'Roll Of The Dice' Nah, it's not that. That's the same move as the Hero's Welcome, right? I think this move is that inverted unprettier he does where he falls across the opponent's chest and drops the back of their head to the mat. If so, I'm not sure it has an actual name.

PROMO - Law & Order
King Cucaracha replied to The Amazing Rando's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Well, it's Rando, so cheese is a pre-req twice over. Me too. It's pretty lifelike, so he should be able to write it well. And I think the reasoning behind it looking like two promos is that seperately, the characters are all different. Cortez is serious on his own. Alan is just a goof. And I'm...uhm, kinda in the middle. So we sound different seperately, but kinda change when we're a group into one sort of semi-goof state. If that makes any sort of sense. -
My match is gonna have to be postponed until HD.
-
On the angles front, you forgot everything involving Clark/Maddix, plus the entire deal with Card/Maddix. So count yourself lucky, cause lord knows these things will haunt me for a good few more years. HI-YO!
-
Scary shit. I can't imagine a 30 foot wave and just the thought of it is just crazy. The pictures they had on the news here of the wreckage were mad.

This year has been a turbulent one for the World Heavyweight Championship belt. Ten different champions, twelve title changes and a heel of a lot of grapplin'. It was a year where one man achieve his World Title dreams...three times over. A year where men shocked the world. A year where one man finally threatened to rival ELM's epic title reign. And a year, you'll want to preserve forever with this 'DVD'. 24 great matches on far too many discs, for you to relive the ups and downs of 2004 at the top. SWF Lockdown, 1/7/04- Ejiro Fasaki © vs. Danny Williams The first show of the SWF year, headlined by a battle anticipated for some time. The New Year's champion Ejiro Fasaki had finally broken from his tag team mould so to speak, to become the premier performer. But his opponent would be the formidable Danny Williams...on a night that would set the tone for the coming year. SWF Smarkdown, 1/12/04- Danny Williams © vs. Ejiro Fasaki From the anticipated battle to the anticipated rematch. Less than a week into Danny Williams' first title reign, he would put the World Title on the line against the former champion, who was looking desperately to set the record straight and recover from his disheartening title loss. SWF Clusterfuck 2004, 2/1/04- Danny Williams © vs. Va'aiga Two behemoths of the SWF, one on one. Danny Williams, master of the elbow. Va'aiga, master of the LARIATO~!, in all it's zany descriptions. Seemingly something HAD to give in this war, and boy did it! For those of a nervous disposition...well, you might as well get ready to turn into a quivering wreck. SWF From The Fire 2004, 3/8/04- Va'aiga © vs. Charlie 'Grappler' Matthews Former Unnamed allies torn apart, after Grappler's titanic victory in the Clusterfuck the previous month. After ridding Grappler of 'his' Unnamed, The Maori Badass set himself ready for this sure-fire battle. A match that could have been fought under mutual respect would now be fought out of pure hatred...in a special "Two Straight Falls" Match that was one not to be forgotten. SWF Battleground 2004, 4/25/04- Charlie 'Grappler' Matthews © vs. 'The Notorious' John Duran Two more of the SWF's premier big-men took the headline spot at the P P V, with Charlie Matthews facing the new leader of The Unnamed, "The Notorious" John Duran. Duran came in knowing he'd be up against the most successful champion of the year thus far, but any fear he may have had certainly did not show in another hard hitting war over the gold. SWF Storm, 5/5/04- 'The Notorious' John Duran © vs. Danny Williams John Duran's World Title reign could hardly have hit tougher opposition so early in the form of Danny Williams. The former World Champion had recovered from his match with Va'aiga and was ready to try and make himself a 2 time Champ, whilst Duran was looking to keep his title reign going. SWF Storm, 5/14/04- Danny Williams © vs. Nathaniel Kibagami Two times the champ, Danny Williams' fledgling World Title reign reached 9 days before this encounter with the veteran 'Silent'. An unpredictable man at the best of times, it's only fitting that 'Silent' was involved in one of the most unpredictable World Title matches of the year. After all, who could have expected this? SWF Smarkdown, 5/24/04- Nathaniel Kibagami © vs. Danny Williams Finally a World Champion as many will say he should have been, at some point, Kibagami learned of the perils of the rematch clause. A pissed off Danny Williams recieves his rematch just ten days after becoming a two-time ex-champion and this match promised to be just as hard hitting and upredictable as the original was. SWF 13th Hour 2004, 6/13/04- Danny Williams © vs. 'The Hell Machine' Janus In his longest of 3 World Title reigns, Danny walked into 13th Hour with another huge challenge to face. Janus. Or, is that Terrence Bailey? Whatever the name, the mixed-up ex-Unholy Trinity member provided a great opponent for Danny. Hard hitting? This is the match for you my strong style loving friends. SWF Ground Zero 2004, 8/1/04- 'The Hell Machine' Janus © vs. Tom Flesher vs. Toxxic For the past 8 months, the SWF's upper echelon had been dominated by the bigmen. But finally, the tide was set to change in this Two Out Of Three Falls Triple Threat Match, as finally two cruiserweight challengers stepped up to the plate. The greatest champion of 2003 Tom Flesher had been here before. But for Toxxic, this would be his first step up to the very big time, after a crazy half year. Janus had meanwhile crushed all opposition ahead of this match. But, this would be his greatest challenge. SWF Lockdown, 8/11/04- Toxxic © vs. Dace Night Toxxic. The rookie turned champion had proven himself to the world in his 6 months in the business. But here, he faced his first real challenge. Could he prove his title victory was not a fluke and prove he belonged in the main event, but defeating the dominant Dace Night? SWF Storm, 8/20/04- Toxxic © vs. Johnny Dangerous When you think of Johnny Dangerous, it's not unfair to think of the word 'Wildchild'. And why not? Wild and Dangerous were one hell of a tag team. But as this match drew around, Johnny was out to prove himself in the dog eat dog singles division. Answering Toxxic's open challenge, Johnny got a title shot that few expected him to make good of. Then again, people have been wrong before... SWF Smarkdown, 8/30/04- Johnny Dangerous © vs. Jamie Drazon The SWF's two JDs do battle, inside of a Hell In A Cell! Why? Who cares!?! This one needs little explanation but deserves to be contested over the World Heavyweight Championship. SWF Genesis V, 9/19/04- Johnny Dangerous © vs. Toxxic Rematches have proven dangerous things for World Champions in 2004. At the biggest show of the year, these two men headlined Genesis V in their rematch...something which would have been unthinkable in the first quarter of the year. And as a result, these two men both had something to prove as they did battle on the biggest stage for the biggest prize. SWF Storm, 10/8/04- Toxxic © vs. Mike Van Siclen As important as the SWF World Title is, this match took on extra importance at the time. Mike Van Siclen, SWF favourite and mains tay had never been World Heavyweight Champion in his SWF career. This would be his last chance, in this epic Career vs. Title Match. Toxxic's belt versus MVS's career, this match was one to remember. SWF Lockdown, 10/13/04- Toxxic © vs. Andrea Montgomery As far as World Champions go, Toxxic seemed to go against the grain of those previous. Perhaps not since ELM himself had there been a more light-heavyweight styled World Champion. As high-flying goes, Andrea Montgomery has to be considered in every arguement. The notorious speedster got her World Championship rematch after the controversial ending to these two's first meeting, in perhaps the most aerial World Title match of the year. SWF Ashes To Ashes 2004, 11/7/04- Toxxic © vs. Annie Eclectic Hated at the best of times, despised for the rest, this was an odd night for Toxxic. He returned home, to a positive reaction. This match against the SWF's most memorable female athlete Annie Eclectic, fought under hardcore rules, will no doubt live long in these two athletes memories...for different reasons. And will doubt live in the fans' memories as one hell of a battle. SWF Slay Ride 2004, 12/21/04- Toxxic © vs. Landon 'La Cucaracha' Maddix The last match of 2004. Toxxic, longest reigning champion since Tom Flesher, looked to end the year with the gold. His opponent, Landon Maddix, had spent the last half year establishing himself in the singles ranks. These two young stars, touted as the future of the SWF by many pundits, did battle for the first time EVER at the SWF's Christmas show, showing how much the company had evolved over the year in this historic match. EXTRAS: SWF Storm, 1/16/04- Danny Williams © vs. Michael Craven World champion Danny Williams defended his championship for the second time here against the 'memorable' Michael Craven. For Danny, a chance to prove himself worthy of the gold. For Craven, a chance to prove himself worthy of being higher up the card. SWF Storm, 2/6/04- The Night After The 'Fuck It was all change with Va'aiga's first World Championship reign underway. But Va'aiga was not in the moodd to celebrate. He had important, Unnamed business to take care of. But...he wasn't the only one who was 'all business'. SWF Smarkdown, 2/16/04- Va'aiga lures in Dace The infamous, Barbed Wire Cell Timebomb Deathmatch that never happened. See the controversy in it's entirety. SWF Lockdown, 3/21/04- Charlie 'Grappler' Matthews © vs. Landon Maddix A No Disqualification match featuring former Unnamed member 'Grappler' and current Unnamed member Maddix. Maddix had picked up pinfall victories over Grappler in tag matches over previous shows, but would this first title shot come to soon for La Cucaracha? SWF Storm, 6/18/04- Janus spits on the ICTV Title New World Champion Janus came into the post-13th Hour edition of Storm as a double champion. He left rather unceremoniously, after much controversy. SWF Storm, 7/17/04- Toxxic vs. Tom Flesher With the triple threat match featuring Flesher, Toxxic and Janus on the horizon, the two challengers went one on one to try and gain some momentum ahead of the big show. However, the presence of Janus at ringside would surely play it's part. SWF Storm, 9/29/04- Toxxic © vs. Andrea Montgomery The original match between these two high-fliers didn't quite go according to plan, courtesy of a certain former tag team champion... SWF Smarkdown, 11/27/04- Toxxic © vs. Carnage The crazy newcomer Carnage recieved his first World Title shot early in his career, facing off against Toxxic in a match many believed may provide the upset of the year. Then again, Toxxic has been counted out before... SWF Storm, 12//04- Landon Maddix vs. Sacred The finals of the first ever Cold Front Classic Tournament, fought under 2 out of 3 Falls, would determine the number one contender to Toxxic's World Title at the Christmas extravaganza. Former World Champion Sacred held a victory over his opponent earlier in the year, while Maddix was the #1 seed in the tournament...and only one man could get the all important title shot. SWF Lockdown, 12/15/04- Maddix experiences a Toxxic Cold Front The Cold Front Classic trophy presentation ceremony was the perfect chance for Toxxic to confront the new number one contender, ahead of the upcoming title battle.

King Cucaracha replied to King Cucaracha's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Little Disclaimer: This isn't the seeds of a Cortez/Maddix feud over Megan, don't worry. It's taken me 12 months to follow up on the Megan/Maddix sexual tension dealy properly. And this is it. And before you ask, Revolution Zero weren't invited. OMG NEW GLASS CEILING INSTALLED~! -
"SNOW IS FALLIN', ALL AROUND ME CHILDREN PLAYIN', HAVIN' FUN IT'S THE SEASON, LOVE AND UNDERSTANDIN' ... MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!" It's Christmas! *hooray* Which means only one thing to the tireless, diehard employees of company's around the world...tired after a full year of doing the same job day in, day out for the same amount of measly pay, ignored by superiors for the majority of the time. That's right. It's a chance to get drunk and make an ass of yourself together with all of your colleagues. With the chance of making out with the females amongst them. And then regret it come New Year. It can only be the Christmas Party! And as the various members of the SWF staff and roster jig and bop around to the sound of "Merry Christmas Everyone" by Shakin' Stevens, one person in particular seems to be in the festive mood. Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix. Walking around the room and past various people with a smile almost engraved on his face, Maddix is patted on the back and given quick messages of congratulations from pretty much everyone he passes, accepting them all with a smile, 'thanks' and a quick thumbs up. See, for Landon Maddix, this Christmas promises to be an extra special event. After all, he's just recieved the greatest Christmas present of all. The SWF World Heavyweight Championship. And despite the rather unsightly elastoplast on his forehead covering up a multitude of stitches, Maddix is otherwise ready to party. It's just a shame that Alan Clark is standing in his way. "Great party, champ!" Clark shouts over the blaring music, sounding a little like he's been at the cooking sherry, if you get my drift. "It's what I do best." Maddix shouts back, despite being a little pre-occupied. "Listen, have you..." "You know, I KNEW you could beat Toxxic. I said...said to Todd not a week before Slay Ride, I said 'Maddix is gonna beat Toxxic. I'd bet my house on him'. And...I was right. See, I've been in the ring with you champ and I know what talents you've got. I had confidence in you, even if a lot of people thought you couldn't do it." "Well hey, if you could beat Toxxic, it can't be THAT hard." Maddix quips at his old adversary, still scanning the room in search of something. Or, someone. "And...you don't have to call me champ after every sentence you know." "Okay champ." "...how much have you had exactly Clark?" "Whadda'ya mean?" Clark drawls. "To drink Clark. How much have you had...to drink." "Nothin' champ. I've been sticking to the punch. See, there's this chick in front office who I kinda wanted to impress and when I get drunk, I tend to kinda ramble on and on without saying anything of any sort of...of...you know, revelance..." "Relevance?" "Exactly! So, I'm sticking to the punch, so I don't get drunk and make an ass of myself in front of this chick. She works in front office you see, and I kinda wanted to impress her..." "I hate to tell you Clark but...the punch isn't non-alcoholic." Alan suddenly stops rambling, a little surprised...which is odd, seeing as he's clearly pretty under the influence. "How much have you had?" Maddix asks again. "...a few glasses." "Right." "And...and I stole Todd's glass." "Right." "...a couple of times." "...right." "And I finished off the last jug because I was getting thirsty with all these lights and stuff." "That's great Clark, great." mumbles Maddix, again scanning the room as he continues to only half-listen to Clark. "Listen, I'd love to stay and chat to you. Well, actually, I really wouldn't. But...look, Clark, have you seen Meg..." "Allison!" Clark suddenly blurts out. "I've been trying to remember her name all night! I'll be back in a moment, don't go anywhere champ." With a wink, Clark staggers off in search of whoever the hell he was blathering about, leaving Maddix standing in the middle of the room with an incredulous look on his face. "I never liked him." Sighing, Maddix turns around and begins to look around again, but he obviously can't find who or what he's looking for, as he walks off aimlessly. You'd think the party would be centered around Maddix. He IS the new World Champion after all. He shouldn't be looking for anyone...people should be looking for him. But the party is in full swing and now, Maddix is just another party-goer. Groaning and mumbling to himself, Maddix taps a taller man on the shoulder. A taller man named Danny Dagda. "Hey...oh, hey!" Dagda chuckles. "Listen, thanks for the invite..." "No problem...uhm...Razor. Listen..." "It's Danny. Danny Dagda." "Of course, sorry." "Why did you call me Razor?" "Because...uhm...I have this thing, where I...create nicknames for people! Yeah. And I thought of razor...for you. 'Cause you're...uhm...sharp. Listen, I need to ask you something Dagda. Have you seen Meg..." "Razor eh?" Dagda muses. "Have you seen Megan?" Maddix suddenly rambles, determined to finish his sentence this time. "Have I seen Megan?" chuckles Dagda. "Hot damn, I've seen Megan, yeah. *wolf-whistles* She's looking mighty fine tonight I've gotta sa..." "No, I mean have you seen Megan around here anywhere? As in, where is she?" Dagda shrugs his shoulders with an uninterested grunt and quickly turns back to the two nameless women he was talking too. Glaring at Dagda, the World and ICTV Champion (w00t!) sighs and starts searching around once more for his valet. Which is hard to do, when Dominic Korgath is standing in his way. "Woah-ho!" Maddix chuckles. "Long time, no see. Listen, have you..." But Maddix again fails to finish his sentence...as Korgath steps to the side, introducing Maddix to his new friends, Max King and Kelly Connelly. Needless to say, that sucks the party spirit right out of the double champion. "Well, well, well." Kelly sneers, adjusting her own newly won World Title...of the Women's variety. "If it isn't Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix. 'Congratulations' Landon." "Yeah, whatever. Look, ha..." "Now that you're the...'World Champion'." King suddenly interrupts. "I guess you won't be needing MY belt anymore, eh kid? But, just a word of warning. Don't go handing it to anyone else just yet, please? After all, Kelly is almost finished in negotiating my World Title shot AND my ICTV Title shot against you." "Look, I didn't invite you two to get involved in some slanging match. Infact, come to think of it, I didn't invite you at all. But that's okay. I'm in a good mood, since winning the WORLD Heavyweight Championship." Kelly and King exchange a look of disgust as Maddix smiles wryly at another of his old adversaries...just as "Merry Christmas Everyone" stops and someone scrambles to change the CD. "I heard what you said and rest assured, I WON'T be giving up this ICTV Championship. To you or to anyone Now, have you seen Megan around?" Exchanging another look, Kelly and King smile wryly at one another, before Kelly sneers at Maddix once more. Meanwhile, in the background, "Lonely This Christmas" can be heard playing now. "Oh, I have NO idea WHERE she could BE!" Kelly howls dramatically, before snickering and pulling King over to the dance-floor. Leaving Maddix to scowl off in their direction, watching as King takes Kelly in his arms. Exactly what he wants at his party...one of his sworn enemies dancing the night away with the lady he loves. Or lusts after at least. Maddix continues to glare over at King and Kelly as they slowly begin to move around the dance-floor, along with plenty of other fledging couples... ...and Megan Skye... ...in the arms of Todd Cortez!?! "IT'LL BE LONELY THIS CHRISTMAS. WITHOUT YOU, TO HOLD." And sure enough, Maddix notices them at the most musically inopportune time. "IT'LL BE LONELY THIS CHRISTMAS. LONELY, AND COLD." Perhaps luckily, they don't notice him as he stares mouth agape. "IT'LL BE COLD, SO COLD... WITHOUT YOU, TO HOLD... ... THIS CHRISTMAS." As Maddix continues to stand frozen in the centre of the room, a hand lands on his shoulder. A gloved hand. Attached to some more spandex. Attached...to a mask. "Happy Holiday Citizen Maddix!" Pause, Spin, Pose, Trumpets. "Oh, and congratulations on a great victory by the way. Secretly, I'm rather glad you finally took the World Championship off of that vagabond Toxxic. I wish you the best of lu...what's the matter? ...oh." Comet finally catches Maddix's line of vision and sees Cortez and Megan dancing around the dancefloor, sighing as he does so. "Oh." "Yeah, oh." "...but you and Megan aren't...courting, are you?" "Courting? Who the hell uses that word anymore?" "Superheros." "Oh." Maddix groans, before sinking back into his sulk. "No...we're not." "Are Megan and Cortez?" "...it's Christmas and they're dancing to 'Lonely This Christmas'. You do the math." "It...could be perfectly innocent. I'm sure Megan thinks a lot of you..." "No, it's not that." Maddix insists. "I don't...you know. No. Me and Megan? No way. We're just friends. Colleagues. Work partners. Nothing more, nothing less." "Then, what exactly is the problem?" "...I don't know. It's just odd, seeing her with someone. Especially with Cortez. You know, because we're tag partners now and all. Sort of." Maddix stops, deep in thought. "Methinks I should go." Comet sighs before swooping off, leaving Maddix standing in the centre of the party. On his own. Alone. *****LATER THAT NIGHT***** 3:00 AM, and the last of the drunken stragglers has been escorted from the party. The room is now clear except for five. They of course being the members of Martial Law- Maddix, Clark, Cortez and Megan. Oh, and some bint Clark has pulled in the course of his ramblings. Ever the valet, Megan is busy sweeping over the room with a broom, picking up the various decorations that have been pulled from the ceiling, the many shards of broken glasses and what's left of an autographed Tom Flesher picture (I had to mention him somewhere). Meanwhile, Cortez and Maddix are busy clearing the tables of empty bowls and glasses, dumping them in-discriminately into a black trash bag. "So...Hardcore Champion, huh?" Maddix finally mumbles, breaking what had been a slightly awkward silence. "Should be fun." "I'm just glad I managed to get the last laugh." Cortez smiles. And just like that, another awkward silence falls. "Listen...I just wanted to say, I'm cool with it." Maddix has stopped his cleaning now and is looking at Cortez ready to guage his reaction. Which doesn't come, as Cortez continues cleaning, oblivious. "So long as you don't want a shot, that's fine." "No! No, I didn't mean that. Goodness no. I'm just saying, I'm not going to come between your relationship...it's hardly my place now, is it." "Exactly. Last time we had a hardcore match, I beat your ass, remember?" Maddix smiles...and then realises Cortez hasn't understood quite correctly. "I...didn't mean the Hardcore Gamers...Megan!" "What about her?" "I'm cool with it." Looking rather confused, Cortez takes a half-empty glass in his hand...eyeing up the contents, ut deciding against risking a drink of it. After all, you never know where some of these WFers have been. "Forgive me for...you know, being a bit slow on the uptake here champ. But, I don't have the slightest clue what you're talking about. Are you saying, you and her are..." "No. I'm saying, you and her are." Cortez suddenly stops, raising an eyebrow as he unconsciously drops a glass bottle into his trash bag, the bottle smashing as it hits the rest of the trash. "Listen, you don't need to sneak around Todd. I saw you two. Dancing. Earlier? Remember?" "Oh...that..." A serious tone has filled the air now as the two allies are staring at one another, neither quite sure how to react. Until Cortez starts to fight back laughter. Only to burst out into hysterics moments later, unable to hold it. Maddix looks a little pertubed as he doesn't get the joke, but Cortez seems to find the funny side of this. "You...thought me and Megan...you thought that us dancing...oh man, you're priceless." Cortez splutters in between fits of chuckling. "That was nothin'." "Nothing?" Maddix asks incredulously. "It's a Christmas party Landon! It's what people do. They drink, they eat and they dance. Just because Alan's desperate to get his leg over with anything that wears a dress, doesn't mean I am. Besides, everyone knows you've got the hots for her yourself. Wouldn't be right to be moving in on her now, would it. We've only just alligned with each other." Cortez stops, judging from Maddix's reaction that he needs a moment. "Everybody?" Maddix finally sputters. "What?" "Everybody thinks I've got the hots for Megan?" "Well, everybody except her maybe. It's just a rumour, obviously." "But...we're..." "Just friends, I know. Which explains that time you wore nothing but the European Title and a pair of boxer shorts in front of her one time back in the SJL, right? And, let's face it...why would you have asked about me and her if you didn't have intentions of your own?" Pausing again, Maddix picks up another empty bottle...before placing it back on the table absent-mindedly. Over his shoulder a certain someone is walking over now and Maddix seems keen to suddenly start clearing up once more. "So...when do you want your title shot Todd?"

You shall see momentarily. Or maybe not, but it's not in a bad way or anything.

The use of Luther. Good character, slower intro, hid his limitations. Turned him into something quite valuable. The new Bischoff. WM XX's ending. JBL. Best character they've created for sometime. Shelton Benjamin. And yes, the DVDs. The ECW one in particular was surprisingly great.

Something. EDIT: Or, to make it sound more interesting, something from the SWF World Heavyweight Champion. EDIT 2: Not literally obviously, as this is the OAOAST...so, something from Rodez. Or GBA. Maybe.

Oh, I almost forgot Edge vs. Kane. That was HORRIBLE. I don't remember Edge/Orton being all that bad. Certainly not worst match of the year. Maven/HHH has been wiped from my memory, as it should be from everyone's. Instantly forgettable but again, not the worst match of the year.
