I can't speak for anyone else but spman is a threatre manager or something and I guess has been going to late night after hours early screenings with other employees for years.

I didn't realize that set was apparently OOP and hard to find (noticed people selling it for $115 and up on Amazon). Crazy.
-
Will it be as successful as The Dark Knight? Only time will tell.

Might as well mention this here, I got a helpful e-mail from Amazon noting that just about all of the DCAU box sets are on sale. The Batman sets are $17.99 or so which is great because in stores here, I always see them for $45+, so this was a good time to get the last two volumes I was missing.

Punk, Batista, and Kane are probably hating it on Raw with their post-draft burial.

What I liked most about The Watchmen trailer before TDK was immediately recognizing the Smashing Pumpkins song was already used in the Batman & Robin soundtrack, much to people's annoyance at me saying this. I actually second guessed this because it sounded different, but it is indeed the same song (but it sounds really slow and cool in the Watchmen trailer).

I knew about him not being healed, didn't know about the contract dispute.

What was so happy about Scarecrow running wild in the Narrows and Joker leaving his calling card? Hope for the future?

7... we are a couple issues away from Flair being fired from WCW. As of right now, Superbrawl just got over, WCW is setting up for the June Clash of Champions, Luger/Flair is all but set, Sid has just left WCW, and Undertaker/Ultimate Warrior is causing big waves at house shows. And Warrior has also been outed as a gay prosititute by some tabloid magazines (what?!)

He rode off into the Narrows on a horse shooting flames out of its nostrils (the fear inducing stuff).

I voted The Office but for rather silly reasons: 1. I was in Scranton on Monday and enjoyed taking pictures of things like the Penn Paper building. I don't think I'll be touring wherever in California that model home was anytime soon. 2. I've been watching The Office for 3 years, I only discovered AD's greatness (after quickly dismissing it during it's initial airing) earlier this year when I decided, after really enjoying an episode on CBCHD, to go buy all the DVDs.

Why am I just hearing about this now? The Firehouse is the better design.

The "Vent about not having Program X on 24/7" Thread

I believe I had one non-BBB personal response from them but because their auto response claims they look into reported problems, I place hope that if I mentioned Cogeco was blaming them they'd do something about it. -

The OAO TSM "Happy Birthday, you!" Thread

Was it the image being called "dancin/dancbrk2" or the fact it appears to be Brak dancing that clued you in? -

I was out of town, but if I wasn't there would have been best birthday wishes from me. Happy belated birthday, KOAB! -
The final Joker scenes where he has the dogs looked familiar and I couldn't place it, but I suppose the visual may have been based on the Joker hyenas?

This is probably going to sound weird, especially with how much I complained about talkity people a few weeks ago, but there were these two women behind us last night that kept talking and it didn't bother me a bit. They were talking very quietly, not very annoying, and it was very "reactionary" talk. Like, they were so into the movie that they just had to comment on everything they saw with either joy, surprise, or sadness. I stress again they were whispering very quietly and it wasn't a running commentary. Now, maybe if it was the 1st time I had been there I would have been hating it.

The good, I believe the bad ("Pizza by Alfredo") was fictional.

If anything, I saw Dent as the Sandman of the film. Joker is who they were pushing but at the end of the film, it's Dent's journey into Hell that told the best story in the movie. I was actually very surprised to see Two Face as I was expecting this to be his set-up movie, much like how Batman Begins was the set-up to the Joker (yes, I really believe the entire 2 hours and 20 minutes was one big awesome set up to the audience seeing the Joker card and knowing what they can look forward to). The pencil trick still got the biggest reaction the second time I saw the movie. Two-Face's reveal got a better reaction at the second show I saw mostly due to some guy going "WOAAAHHHHHH!"

Did Vickie turn face though? The first spoilers I read - not very detailed at all, admittedly - implied Vickie forgave Edge but while she was still mad already signed the Taker deal. It didn't read like "haha fake apology, Undertaker is going to kick your ass now" but we'll see.

I'm told this is called "Sliced Bread #2". Since Khali isn't a wrestler people like that HHH will feel the need to work a style exposing match with, I think he'll try his damndest to get something out of him. I don't think it will be good, but it's something, I guess.

I love the fact that both times I see the movie, someone around me said "It's Zeus!" during his scene. The 2nd time it was a kid who appeared to be maybe 10/11 years old tops, so props to him for knowing his old school wrestling.

RIP Estelle Getty.
