Matt was nice enough to let me back in after Mike banned me and Cheech for abusing the power he refused to remove. Cheech was unbanned a long time ago, but for reasons I still have no answer on, I was reduced to a suspension and then banned within 12 hours of the suspension ending. I'm here to just check in on my old stomping grounds and maybe make the occasional post, but otherwise I'm happy elsewhere right now.

YKRG asked where I was and how I've been, so my views on him have changed. He's also about 63% of what goes on here and Mike would surely fire Matt for removing that traffic.

You make good points, but the truth is boards evolve. Yes, some people show up because they can chat about Randy Orton or Wii Sports and do nothing more, but others learn that it's just one big internet community. You make e-bonds with people and learn more about them then you would just asking them what they thought funniest part of 30 Rock was. It's great that people came to this TSM for mindless (meant in the nicest way, honestly) chatter, but it's even more awesome that some learned of the community aspect of the forum. The Real TSM is all about keeping those people together. The past 48 hours have yielded some of the most fun I've had at a message board, and almost none of the 100 posts (yeah, that's a lot in 2 days) posts I've made were about wrestling or TV - just community. Something to consider.

I'm proud of two things: 1. Lobbing the "Now we play the waiting game..." in the "Vader: Dead?" thread, which thankfully Bruiser Chong picked up on and demanded we play Hungry Hungry Hippos instead. 2. I can't remember where or how, but there was a thread that degenerated into a bunch of us quoting Grampa Simpson's story about onions (yellow onions, cuz of the war!). THAT was awesome.

That sounds like a line from the MOTY film... Anyway, yeah, the Megathreads thing... if they work and people are fine with them, it's ok. They do tend to compress conversation in the wrestling areas, but they serve a purpose in Movies/TV/VG.
