You make good points, but the truth is boards evolve. Yes, some people show up because they can chat about Randy Orton or Wii Sports and do nothing more, but others learn that it's just one big internet community. You make e-bonds with people and learn more about them then you would just asking them what they thought funniest part of 30 Rock was. It's great that people came to this TSM for mindless (meant in the nicest way, honestly) chatter, but it's even more awesome that some learned of the community aspect of the forum.
The Real TSM is all about keeping those people together. The past 48 hours have yielded some of the most fun I've had at a message board, and almost none of the 100 posts (yeah, that's a lot in 2 days) posts I've made were about wrestling or TV - just community.
