  1. This is all in the name of good boarding, right? I won't come back tomorrow and find a big fish eye or something.
  2. You guys are so impatient!
  3. That, NPH dancing around as a fairy... I don't remember The Street being this weird when I was a kid.
  4. This fella in a yellow "Bob Backlund For WWF World Champ" sure enjoyed going to the Manhattan Center for Raw based on this string of 1993 Raw's I've been watching On Legacy.
  5. In a positive light I assume.
  6. Thanks - I wasn't sure if it was like playing Rock/Paper/Scissors or if there was an actual light-up prompt.
  7. Does a game that can be beaten 100 percent in a day need costume codes? I have no idea what you mean when you say things like this. How do you "beat" an exhibition wrestling game? Anyway, much like most wrestling games I buy, I just bought this because I'm a mark for wrestling and it's playable enough to have fun doing crazy things. I had Koko win the IC title from Rick Rude at WrestleMania X! So far what's bothering me the most are the various gameplay elements that aren't explained in the instructions so I just learn as I go. What is the "Offender / Defender" prompt? What's a Vengeance meter? Why is it when I go for the Doomsday Device, I just fall backwards? Otherwise, I'm having a blast. It's not great and it could certainly be better, but it was designed to be nostalgic fun and that's about what it is. I think the kayfabe explanation for the SVR guys looking the way they do is they were CGI'd into the past via special effects like Forrest Gump, but without ILM's budget.
  8. Yeah, either Crash or Dean (I don't recall when he lost the belt to Crash). X-Pac wasn't LHW champ until he beat Jeff Hardy in the summer. A quick review of the title history shows Crash won it a few weeks prior to the show.
  9. Costume codes: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/legendswres.../?cid=2009EP-00
  10. I did like Frank pointing out the phone line didn't have enough numbers.
  11. Here's the only thing from WWE.com's preview you need to know: There's also a crazy 8 man tag like there was on Raw, but the teams are shuffled up a bit - Punk/Kofi/MVP/Henry vs. Christian/Finlay/Benjamin/Kane.
  12. Does anyone know a person that owns a working Jaguar CD? The latest AVGN implies they've all become self-aware of their suckage and stopped working.
  13. 2. This is what I was referring to when I made the comment about how the photos on WWE.com made the current roster look out of place. You had this bright, cartoony legend fighting a pale looking, realistically rendered Randy Orton. 3. This might be a programming issue. I read somewhere that the "Two Jericho" issue in SVR was considered a glitch in the PS3 DLC, and the 360 DLC was allegedly held to fix glitches. Well, it's out now and guess what? Jericho's new attire is considered a different wrestler that doesn't hold the same titles as the other Jericho, yet it's programmed in a way you can't mirror match or make a Double Jericho tag-team stable.
  14. LOD 2000, Sunny is their manager, Owen is still a face before joining the Nation.
  15. I was wondering the same thing a few months ago when they had HHH cut a promo about them (before revealing he was referring to her necklace).
  16. Pam's expression seemed to change from smiling to concerned before the end cut, but maybe I was reading too much into that. Enjoyable episode - not a lot of "ha ha" but I still found it funny and overall very interesting / entertaining to watch. I had this weird moment where I wanted to laugh at the Prince Paper callback, then felt genuinely sad that a fictional paper company went out of business.
  17. I need to work the Horsetown / Naysayers line into a conversation.
  18. Or as some full here called it, Billy Hill. BILLY!
  19. mikey likes it, he really likes it.
  20. Like when they ran Poughkeepsie and the like? Yeah, those venues looked like shit. It was depressing. Why didn't they just stick with the Manhattan Center? I'm watching an episode that has the "Wearhouse Arena" look right now and it's from Alexandira Bay, NY.
  21. I do like the March Madness themed Diva photos on WWE.com.
  22. Eddie falling is cut, though (I assume so anyway, it is on DVD).
  23. Here's WWE.com giving away the best part:
  24. That's just someone who will go unnamed being a failure. FAILURE. We need Inspector Chang on the case... this is not adding up correctly, even with work shown.
