  1. I will not be boning any fish.
  2. goldengreek - I made some comments I considered amusing in the now closed previous round thread. Feel free to acknowledge them here, you buch on tag alongs! RoHo - I was going to vote for Enigma, but I'm secretly lobbying to get him banned for repeatedly sending me threatening PMs. At the end of the final four, greek, Roho, and Enigma need to come out as the top 3 vote getters. Let the negative post countdown for the runners up begin!
  3. You are a MOD here..right ? I'd love to think I'm TSM's Message Of the Day, but I don't believe I am, no.
  4. Take that, you "buch on tag alongs"! You have to (ironically) love the "I'm awesome, you all hate me, I don't understand why you all hate me, it must be because I'm just too awesome for all you fools... so I'll keep posting here all the same" that every board has. You'd think the paradoxical nature of their existence would form a causality in which such posters didn't exist... but here we are.
  5. All this weekly bad movie talk (and a previous post I made about my SCENE Card) reminds me of the good ol days before a bunch of people I knew moved on with their lives after graduating University. We saw The Condemned and Kickin' It Old School on the same day!
  6. Not for nothing, this movie gets you 100 extra points on your Scene card.
  7. Useless piece of info from wikipedia for the day: "WWE Superstar Shawn Michaels was heavily hyped to make a cameo appearance in this movie [The Heartbreak Kid], (the title of the movie is also one of his many in-ring nicknames) as a member of a band, but his appearance was presumably cut. A member in the wedding band, Kanekoa, is named Shawn Michaels which may have caused the confusion."
  8. In a bit of strangeness, the first half of the 24/7 version (which I assume is the DVD version) doesn't have a "WrestleMania" transition graphic during Gene's pre-match interviews, "exposing" the fact the opponents were standing right next to each other (though it's very obvious anyway).
  9. Yeah I just read that too in a thread making fun of Dave Scherer for being all "HOW DARE THEY! ECONOMIC HARDSHIPS!" despite the fact it's always been this way.
  10. What kind of nonsense show was this? I realize the show is on MNTV and no one is watching, but seriously, the best they could for their 500th episode is say "this is the 500th episode"? Where were video clips of classic moments before and after commercials? And the digital guide preview said Johnny Rodz would be there. Where was he? And what about SmackDown's biggest fan, or learning what it was like to be a ring announcer? A failure of a milestone.
  11. The pictures of the "dream matches" on WWE.com make the SVR imports look a bit out of place with the larger than life arcadey models LOW uses. Also, "One of the most exciting features of the new game Legends of WrestleMania is the ability to import the entire SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 roster". Isn't that not true?
  12. If I didn't know any better (and I guess I don't) I'd say these commercials are supposed to act as reverse psychology and increase cigarette sales. "Duper Super"? Really?
  13. It was what he recalled reading somewhere, not remembering if it was the Observer or Torch, but if it was wrong it was wrong and he accepted it.
  14. How much is Mania supposed to be? It showed up on my guide last night and the SD broadcast is only $5 more than a normal PPV ($44.95) but the HD version is $20 more than that.
  15. The conspiracy theory on that is it took so long to come up with an official statement, it's just covering the whole thing up.
  16. Floyd was the best. He used Ghostbusters for evil!
  17. I still don't understand why you've been called an Asian Tony Roma.
  18. And threads have been appropriately moved. Merci, al.
  19. Bad memory there. The first time I accidentally did it, I apologized. But this place is all serious business about wrestling news, so whenever I'd apologize, people would still make stupid remarks. So I quit being reasonable and started being a motherfucker about it just like everyone else. Good try though. And lol Willy Aybar lol re-posted a video in WWE's General Discussion that I posted a few pages back. I bit my tongue, but Venkman of all people made a snide remark about it. Where's all the torches and hatred for Venkman now? Hmmm? I'm allowed to make them. You're not. Stop sending me PMs. Dandy needs to link to these posts when the 2010 POTYT rolls around. They're even better than "Wrestling Quark" or my randomly quoting Clerks:TAS as reasons I voted a certain way.
  20. This thread is on notice.
  21. I guess it's still an issued challenge.
  22. For 9 years and 400 plus odd episode, WWE SmackDown has brought mayhem and craziness to the absolute boundary pushing limits that the United Paramount / Cruiser Weight Network would allow, then for several more episodes since delighted children of all ages with family friendly fun on MyNetworkTV! What kid tested mother approved mayhem will WWE SmackDown's 500th episode bring? Well, according to WWE.com: WWE Champion Triple H will take on Vladimir Kozlov on the 500th episode of SmackDown. The Game and The Moscow Mauler will kick things off when they go one-on-one on the historic show. Rising stock? Intercontinental Champion JBL will make his return to SmackDown to take on Undertaker. JBL is intent to continue making history on his way to the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, but The Phenom stands in his way, looking to make his own mark on the Road to WrestleMania. Gold vs. Bold: United States Champion Shelton Benjamin puts his title up against former U.S. Champ MVP when SmackDown 500 - Road to WrestleMania takes place on Friday . A winner is you if you partake in this television blockbuster tonight at 8pm eastern. Unless you live in Canada (and don't feel like slumming it up a MNTV standard definition broadcast), then screw you, you have to wait for college basketball to finish at 12:30 am.
  23. No surprise, but WWE.com confirmed that JBL vs. Rey is a go.
  24. They have done a great job of setting up a sequel.
