That would be "Scrape", I believe. And yes, it's a great vid. I love the "Run to the Hills" video for the old silent movie scenes. and that Bjork video where she's on a flatbed truck going through New York is great too.

Ya know, I've never heard much of tom waits, and I feel kind of bad about it. I know of his greatness and like what I've heard, but I have yet to buy any of his albums. I think when I get some kale, I'll pick up some of his material. Besides Rain Dogs[/]i, whihc seems to be praised by the posters who I think know what's up, what are some other great/fucking amazing waits albums?

Well, like was stated, California by Mr. Bungle is fantastic, and Disco Volante is really good as well. that Lovage album is choice too. Good work, AoO. I really enjoy Faith No More's King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime. It's the most expiremental album, I think, and it's all over the place too. Some songs are straight-up rock-types, like "Get Out" and "Digging the Grave", there's the ballady "Take this Bottle", the dreary, funk-influenced "Evidence" and the downright fucking WEIRD "Coocoo for Caca" and "Ugly in the Morning." The album really proves the point of my sig. The first Fantomas album is quite enjoyable, though it's really only an album you're going to get if you're a Patton dork like myself. The thing I love about Fantomas is that Mike uses his voice as another instrument rather than just singing. Delirium Cordia was disappointing, though not bad by any means. The first 10 minutes or so of the album (it's one 74 minute long song) are great, then it gets kind of boring for the next half hour. I've also heard good things, though I don't own it yet due to the record stores (ie. sam Goody and Circuit City) here in The Valley SUCKING BALLS, about the Patton/X-Ecutioners project. And this goes out to Canadian Chick: The No Fun EP is indeed fun. "President Forever" and "No Fun" are great, and the Ramones cover ain't bad either. Of course, I don't think one can ever go wrong with Local H.

Shit. I dropped to third. I've still got buddy Guy and Charlie Wattts though. Guy can't die until after I see him in Columbus on June 16th though.

Is anyone on this board actually old enough to remember the days when Rolling Stone was a credible mag?

The pussification of children's television is reaching new highs. -
I looked for that album but couldn't find it, so I settled with the Masters Collection.

Christopher walken wire-dancing is greatness. If only the vid had more COWBELL~!

I disagree, at least with the Black Crowes statement. They'reone of those bands that I can enjoy even if the music's not that great thanks to the voice of Chris Robinson. I swear, he's got more soul than any white boy ever.

I instantly thought of Animal House when I read the thread title.

I like the track listing, Rob E. I'm in the process of making a double-disc 90s alternarock cd for my listening pleasure. Any suggestions would be nice.
-
I'm still on the 90s alternarock kick.

I love their video for "Wild, Wild Life" with John Goodman doing karaoke. Add Peter Gabriel's "Big Time" and Primus' "Mr. Krinkle" to he list as well.

Richard Christy in drag? What would Chuck think?

Man, I forgot about "Magic Carpet Ride." I too despise that fucking song. Please dont' kill me though, kill classic rock radio. I used to be able to enjoy Skynyrd, but the fucking radio has ruined them for me. The only song I can stand anymore is "The Ballad of Curtis Lowe." "Simple Man" used to on the good Skynyrd list, but thanks to Shinedown, it's gone.

How about the video for "Breakin' the Law"? I like it, but it's undeniably cheesy Now that I think about it, was there ever a good Priest video from the 80s?

When does the Kurt Angle Invitational end?
B. Brian Brunzell replied to Youth N Asia's topic in The WWE Folder
With the recent talent lending program the WWE has with ROH, does anyone besides me think that Samoa Joe would be a great guy to take out Angle? -
Are you thinking of Billy Suier's "The Stroke", Rando? If so, I'm down with that choice. billy prancing about on stage with the fat drummer trying to be cool is horrible. And the metal elitists will hate me for this one, but Judas Priest's "Heading Out to the Highway" is wretched as well. The song rules, but the floor being painted up like a road with the even worse backdrop is being suck.

I'm not going to Ozzfest again until I get Devin Townsend somewhere on the bill.

I'll be picking this up no doubt. Even if the music isn't that great, I still get to listen to Chris Cornell sing.
