  1. But who would play "Dynamo". Not too many Opera singers these days...
  2. How many Rumbles were TRULY unpredictable? 1989, 1990, 1992, and 1997. How many others?
  3. Gold Jerry, GOLD!! And add Tiny Lister in the Jim Brown role. And Regis Philbin instead of Dawson.
  4. That's my favorite Rumble moment since Bret showed up crippled at 1994. Curt will always have the fact that he outlasted Austin in the 2002 Rumble.
  5. Damn Angelslayer beat me by seconds. Mos def Blues Brothers is one of the best ever. Ronin is another one of my favorites as is The Rock.
  6. I'll bet anything that Flair/Savage won't come on the next Flair DVD. I'm sure they're saving it for the WM set coming out whenever.
  7. I found 1995 decent for the crap they had to work with. Best: 1992 Worst: 1996 or 1999 Best Ending: 1997 - The ONLY thing that saves that Rumble Worst Ending: 1993 - Savage COVERS YOKO!?!
  8. Don't forget JR & King telling Coach he's not really black on Raw last week.
  9. "66. Steve Keirn (was better in the pre-Fab days)" - SKINNER~!~! "71. Terry Taylor (really smooth, undoubtedly a future superstar)" - boy was he wrong...
  10. Your tape was sent today Express mail. Once again sorry for the delay and hopefully we can trade in the future.
  11. My favorite Hennig sell was when he would slide clear across the ring on a punch and crotch himself on the ringpost. I also enjoy anytime he would get hit, go flying, the gum would come out of his mouth and he would still have the presence of mind to swat it. Pimp. I still remember in the 2002 Rumble. Austin & HHH have Hennig over the top and he's grasping for life yet STILL finds the presence of mind to psit and swat the gum.
  12. The post-match gets ***** from me. The match was around ***1/2 but building.
  13. Royal Rumble 1989 - Great Rumble 2/3 of teh wya then it dies Survivor Series 1989 - My favorite SS ever Royal Rumble 1990 - Great Rumble Royal Rumble 1991 - Decent show with a good Rumble In Your House 4 and 5 (thought I have seen the Winter Combat tape that has matches from each show.) - Get Bret/Bulldog otherwise don't bother WWF IYH July 1996 - International Incident - Decent Austin/Mero match & good ME WWF Bad Blood 1997 (But I've seen Taker/HBK HIAC) - If you've seen HIAC don't bother WWF D-Generation X, December 1997 - Crap
  14. In Lethal Weapon, near the end where Gibson is chasing Busey, Gibson magically gains shoes.
  15. Scarface Plus Pulp Fiction but most of those have been said already.
  16. Ummm what are you talking about? I'm not an HBK fan and find 90% of his stuff overrated. This match in particular I find awesome. Like Tawren I didn't see anyone giving either of those matches the high ratings you put.
  17. I pretty much agree wtih Tawren. Match tells a perfect story(especially when taken hand in hand with the Ground Zero match) and HBK gets beat within an inch of his life. HBK runs but Taker will not let him escape until Kane does his thing and HBK uses his last ounce of strength to cover Taker. Great storytelling and some good bumping makes this match for me. Don't agree with giving it ***** or MOTY though(Bret/Austin takes that) but a solid ****1/2.
  18. 1. In AWA as the Midngiht rockers. 2. Steroid trials. Same reason Bret, Flair & Savage ran the WWF in 92. 3. Pretty close. According to him he got accused of roids and suspended. According to other he started negotiating with WCW while champ. One way or another it got him stripped of the belt. 4. Never heard of this. Don't think so though, I'm pretty usre it was a way to turn HBK face and to get Sid into the ME picture. 5. He started using it in early 95 as he needed a finisher which was effective against big men to fight Diesel. IT got named "Sweet Chin Music" in mid-95 I think.
  19. I cannto it good faith rate Flair/Funk over ****. It just didn't have the emotion to it that Flair/Vader had(same example someone else used) and neither guy seemed to have brought their A game. GAB89 was much better IMO.
  20. I have World War 3 1995 and Benoit/Angle.
  21. Let's send tomorrow. 1. Label it WCW Comp if you want(I labelled yours...Raw comp...yes very original I know) 2. Priority sounds fine to me. 3. Does PM work? If yes PM, if not email. [email protected]
  22. That blows. This had so much potential but they put ALL crap(barring the first two).
  23. In 1992 Nikolai Volkoff subbed for Jannetty, so he was a surprise.
