Just saw OUT OF SIGHT last night. It was really good, to my surprise and delight! Incidentally, Leonard has referred to the two adaptations of THE BIG BOUNCE as the worst two movies ever.

Oddly enough they were both originally supposed to be Owen Hart. So the Blue Blazer, who went from a legendary feud with Steve Blackman to another memorable feud with the Godfather, was going to be the #1 heel in the company. Owen Hart was someone from Austin's past, afterall, and Austin "looked like he had seen a ghost" when he saw the face of the higher power... By the time Austin saw the Higher Power (a week before everyone else did), Owen was already a ghost. Kind of my point, chump.

The SuperBowl commercial looked like ass. They featured 2 things: the rap group and Travolta and Thurman dancing. What a pile of garbage.

Season 1 will include the pilot for THE GREATEST AMERICAN HEROINE!

I read somewhere that Elmore Leonard dropped a hint in the book that he had The Rock in mind for the part when he wrote it, so that explains some of it. 'Course, I haven't read the book so I can't tell you what that hint WAS, exactly. The character is an over-six-foot-tall, muscular half-Samoan/half-black with a yen for raising one eyebrow.
