Wow, I never got anything that awesome for Easter.

Yeah, we have digital cable, and pay an extra $5.00 per month for HD channels...it amounts to a dozen or so channels, including locals in HD. I think to get ESPN-HD and NFL games in HD, it's worth it alone. Also, every once in a while Universal or Showtime HD will have a good movie on.

Fire and Ice...that was a weird team. Kind of made sense in that it was too big power dudes, but they didn't really gel together for some reason.

I do think all the calls for "a timetable for withdrawal" are completely unrealistic, and would just be bad strategy. Did the Allies announce a timetable for pulling out of Europe during World War II? No, of course not. These calls for a timetable are just a political effort by the Democrats to make the president look bad. That said, I think the administration needs to explain what exactly we're trying to accomplish at this point, and what goals need to be achieved before the US exits Iraq. Saddam is gone, there were no WMDs found in Iraq, etc. How much hand holding can we do for the new Iraq before we go? At some point, the new Iraqi government will have to stand on its own, or fall by its own.

Brewers finally won a series yesterday (took 2 of 3 from the Cubs), for the first time since July 5th. Yet people around here are still talking about the wildcard race, when they're still 6 games below .500. It's like, let's get to at least an even record before we even think about the playoffs, guys.

We can't possibly screen every single person and every single bottle or item a person has that gets on an airline. The bottom line is this country needs to make sure these people don't get into the country in the first place. As far as the UK, it seems like they were on top of things this time.

Pillman had Austin on his regular interview segment one week (this was after Pillman came to WWF, but was still on crutches and not wrestling). Pillman basically asked Austin a really insulting question about Bret Hart, and Austin attacked him ("breaking" Pillman's leg by putting it in a folded chair and leaping off the top rope).

It's the same demented liberal garbage about Israel constantly invading Lebanon (as if part of some land grab), completely ignoring the terrorist crimes against Israel. Basically these liberals feel the Palestinians are a repressed minority, and see Israel as a mini-US, so they feel the need to constantly attack Israel's policies in defending itself. Yes, there are 20+ Arab countries and one Jewish state. Clearly Israel is the majority aggressor, throughout its entire existence. We really need a third party somewhere in the middle that's more in line with the average middle class American.

I really enjoyed last last night's ECW show. My favorite part was during the handicap match, Sandman basically said "Fuck this!" and just caned the hell out of Knox and Test. That's something it seems like we've been waiting years for some babyface to do, after endless idiotic handicap matches on RAW. Why would you even bother trying to wrestle fair in an unfair match?!

Personally, I thought making Gunner Scott into Benoit's protege was a pretty good idea. It seemed like something they haven't used in quite a while, and fit in with his ring persona, IMO. Of course, this writing team seems to completely derail any wrestler that gets temporarily sidetracked due to an injury or something.

I really like my Mitsubishi 48" rear projection. I've had it for nearly three years, and never a single issue. Great picture, especially with true HDTV. They have some really nice microdisplay projection sets now.
