  1. I'd say this was a great idea, if it wasn't for how Edge (a) can't seem to stay uninjured, and (b) had all his heat sucked away after his feud with Matt Hardy.
  2. In at least one case, the title reign's gone on a few months too long.
  3. At the time it was released, it was a WWE.com exclusive (a really short lived experiment). That'd explain why its hard to find.
  4. I am shocked at this one. I didn't think it would drop, but being Xmas Eve, I did expect some drop. If this rating was based on audience share, its possible to get a higher rating with the same number of viewers if less people are home watching TV overall.
  5. You're really not saying anything that contradicts my point. "Friends" was overrated.

This thread is making me feel very close to yelling at young whippersnappers to get off of my yard.
  9. In the interest of fairness, I bolded the responses that have been given in this thread. Except Juggernaut no longer possesses that level of power.
  10. I'm guessing that since , he had the ability to get in and out at his will. I forgot about that.
  11. The continuity nerds will be mad. Maybe. Or maybe only Chris Claremont will be mad... btw, according to imdb, she's Filipino. But since all Asians look alike, that probably won't mean anything... I guarantee John Byrne is having a heart attack over this.
  12. I don't understand why Tom should get the credit for starting a thread that's just a continuation of another thread.
  13. Impact actually comes on at 11pm on 12/31/05 where I live. Fucking eastern time zone bias. THE CENTRAL TIME ZONE SHALL RISE UP, I SAY!!!!
  14. I don't see "Goblet of Fire" catching up, even though its still out.
  15. Czech, where's that quote in your sig from? It sounds familiar.
  16. I wasn't counting magazines like Entertainment Weekly or internet sites which probably do like AD better. This is just my take on it, but the hype NBC gave "Friends" (plus the "pull-at-your-heart-strings" ad campaign, coverage on the Today Show, fucking Oprah, etc.) exceeded the hype "Raymond" got from CBS (which was more along the lines of "hey, this is the last chance to see a new episode of this funny show" rather than "spend one last evening for the 6 people who've been such a big part of your life for the last 10 years and you'll miss them so much...pass me a tissue"), or "Fraiser" got from NBC this past year. NBC was acting like the last episode of "Friends" was the most important event in the history of television, and it got quite sickening. I was also basing that on a random sampling of people I know who ALL just thought "Friends" was so goddamn funny (my parents, wife, wife's family, kids at school, co-workers, etc.).
  17. Record it. After you finally see the cliffhanger they ended season 2.0 on, you'll definitely need to see the conclusion.
  18. There's no such thing as an "American school system". Its a collection of 50 state school system, which get various levels of results. Maybe he meant the general approach to education that is taken in the United States. That one is a complete failure, wouldn't you say? No. "Complete failure" is entirely too strong a term when the real problem isn't that widespread. There are some really bad urban and poor rural school districts that are dragging the standardized test score averages down and making the rest of the country look bad. Plus, we test almost every single kid (opposed to most western countries which only worry about their college-bound kids). And kids with IQs as low as 60 are taking the same tests as everyone else because the percentage of kids exempt from taking regular standardized tests is set way too low.
  19. I'd make it a ladder match for Batman's utility belt and put it on PPV. OH MY SON OF GOD!!!! IT'S THE CLOTHESLINE FROM HEAVEN~!!!!!111
  20. New episode next Friday!

  23. That's because it isn't the most overrated sitcom. But it's almost a requirement for the online community to bash it. "Friends" was overrated not by the online community, but by the people who actually matter, i.e. the entertainment media as a whole (especially during its final season) and the viewing public (which continued to make it a top ten show for years after its expiration date)...both of which are considerably bigger and more influential than the online community. So, YES, "Friends" was the most overrated sitcom of all time.
