Teaching Intelligent Design Found Unconstitutional
SuperJerk replied to Ace309's topic in Current Events
Of course, this ruling won't stop people with a 3rd grader's understanding of science from claiming our liberal courts are trying to outlaw belief in God. I honestly don't see how anyone can say that the idea that the entire human race is the result of brothers and sisters having babies together 6000 years ago is somehow more credible than species changing slowly over time into new species. -
It's kinda hard to discuss a show like this, without storylines or the usual stuff involved. "Usual stuff involved": people actually watching.
-
Seriously, few of those movies usually retails for more than $14, so you're not really saving that much. Plus, you gotta wait in line for an hour.
-
Taker calling anyone a "mark" for themselves is insanely funny. On several levels.
-
Wow. 3 pages. Awesome.

Word, motherfucker.

IT'S STILL REAL TO ME DAMNIT! And with one fell swoop, Bob replaces Czech as my personal hero. And this thread is why baby Jesus died to give us a classics folder.
-
Someone should change this thread title to "the Chronic-WHAT-cles of Narnia".

I knew all the previous reported amounts had to be inflated. So different than the story that circulated at the time. I'm sure someone can think up a funny Tim White joke to go with this item. Idiot. Okay...? LOL@ Hardy thinking he had momentum. This'd be the perfect way to turn Cena heel. Hogan vs. Cena = $$$$

Rick Scaia > Scott Keith. I still read Keith's blog from time to time just because I find irrational hatred somewhat amusing. "I didn't watch Raw this week, but it really sucks, so I'm going to give you guys a thread to discuss it, even though I hate it and don't watch it."

Because 99% of the fans watching wanted Taker to win? Why would anyone want Orton to win? Why would anyone watching from a kayfabe perspective expect Orton to win? Seriously? Unless you're a girl or a homosexual who likes Randy Orton's supposed pretty face why would you cheer for Orton to win? The only reason a "fan" would want Orton to win is because they're "smart" and think it's a good idea to push Orton because that's what the WWE is reportably going to do. And really that's stupid too becasue as we all know the WWE's booking is pretty horrible right now. Everyone agrees on that but yet the smark population as a whole generally wants Orton to win???? We're all sudden believers of the WWE booking system? We all believe Orton is the #1 wrestler to go to?? Why this sudden 180 degree turnaround? Let's face it. Even if Orton won last night the WWE would screw up his push. So even from that perspective there's no sense in having Orton win. Let Taker have his night. Let the fans be happy for once. If anyone was cheering for Orton last night out of smarkness than I must say I feel sorry for you as you have lost all perspective on what is to be a fan. Are you kidding? Heels need to win big matches in order to look like threats to the top babyfaces. Its not that anybody "wants" Orton to win, but given that he's the chosen one to be the top heel, it doesn't make any sense to job him out to anyone but the top face. Otherwise, the babyfasces win 100% of the time, and the product gets really boring really fast. Now, if you want to argue that Orton shouldn't be the top heel, then you've got a good point and I wouldn't argue with you. However, since Orton IS the top heel, it doesn't make sense to job him out, and the question of why he was jobbed out when he's alledgedly being built up as the top contender and a legit threat to Batista is a good one worth asking. It has nothing to do with "wanting" someone to win, and everything to do with trying to understand why things were done from a perspective of building up to a strong WM card.

Nope, only one brand (RAW) went to the Middle East this year. There are spoilers out there but I won't post them here to avoid complaints. Spoiler thread.

Some of those ideas sound craptastic. Then again, the idiots who work for Wizard have a real talent for making good ideas sound dumb with their sub-par reporting.

The Spirit Squad (Ken Doane) - Coming to RAW?
SuperJerk replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
WHEN was it they decided that every new worker was going to have a flamboyant, 2-dimensional gimmick? Was it when Goldust got over in 2002? Or was it Eugene? Because neither one of those guys is exactly on TV every week anymore. Somebody let me know, please. -
1. WWE programming is usually pretty good fo the first three months of any given year. 2. I also enjoy mocking Raw on this board. 3. I still like a couple of the workers.

After tonight, I'm seriously rethinking my position.
-
^No way.^ For about a year, I though she was the same broad that used to be on "Designing Women". Fortunately I was wrong.
-
I'm sure there's a bunch of people out there wishing there hadn't been a PPV tonight.
-
Fortunately, I don't. I remember Lita's mainly because it came a few months after my wife had one.
-
He didn't say it, but in "Sex, Lies, and Headlocks" it was reported that someone gave Russo shit about wanting to do a miscarriage angle. (I remember it reported that he said they wouldn't try and exploit 9/11, so that's why I included terrorism.)
-
You forgot miscarriage and terrorism.
-
Sounds like Wrestlecrap really needs to wait until the actual end of the year before handing out awards for shittiness.
-
JHawk's right. WM22's SD main event needs to be Taker vs. Batista.

I'm a little disappointed by the article. There was no mention of bull horn demonstrations, Energy Park, or the classic feud with Eastman. What, no link? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dixie_Carter_%28TNA%29 This is how rumors get started.
