  1. Get people more hyped? ...they should have done this in the Manhattan Center. That would have REALLY been a homecoming! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "The building was a toilet." -Mean Gene
  2. God, do I hope so. edit: fuck
  3. She must be pro-life. credit: wikipedia We call that "pulling a Cheney".
  4. Serenity will make its money back, but I doubt it'll be considered a hit by anything other than cult standards. The good news is that Whedon's feature debut is getting him critical praise which will lead to higher profile projects. If Wonder Woman's a hit, Whedon's the new Sam Raimi.
  5. I'm sorry I snapped at you earlier, since now its obvious that you probably have some serious problem with your optical nerves.
  6. God, I hope so.
  7. Nathan Fillion and Charlie Sheen are both white guys with brown hair. The resemblance is uncanny.
  8. Between this and your Serenity "review", I'm starting to notice a pattern for you judging a film before you've actually seen more than a few minutes of it. I'd love to see your review of The Godfather.
  9. Gee, could that be because YOU WALKED OUT AFTER 20 MINUTES? You were the kid in school they had to hide the glue from, weren't you? No offense, but you're kind of a pussy.
  10. More like 14%. http://www.census.gov/popest/states/asrh/SC-EST2004-04.html Hey, I don't make the charts.
  11. During the 1984-85 season, didn't they just have whoever the host was that week do Update? I seem to remember Jesse Jackson and Ed Asner doing the news that year.
  12. I guess it'd surprise a grand total of NO ONE if I said I'd never even heard of "Flight Plan" until I saw the poster for it on my way in to see "Serenity".
  13. I just wish that was a real shirt.
  14. Do you think they still make Koala Yummies? Because those were pretty good. 2nd place behind Dunkaroos in Australian-themed novelty cookie snacks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never heard of either. Then again, its been a long time since I was a little kid.
  15. I was worried I'd forgotten about this, since I was at the movies last night.
  16. They usually think the bars are covering up something.
  17. John Byrne's "Superman/Batman: Generations" was interesting in a nostalgic kind of way, but the sequels were total crap.
  18. What about Ashley Scott? Is she a non-factor?
  19. I'm waiting for the Triple H/Preparation H commerical.
  20. Too bad they couldn't put together a defense of that end of it, since that IS part of what they were trying to defend.
  21. The point was that I tuned in specifically to see her, despite the fact that she's what was mostly pulling the show down. Actually, except the guy in the wheelchair, I pretty much hated all the characters.
  22. I liked the show, but I think they figured they gave us one great moment in Myers/Kanye and decided to dog it the rest of the show. Kevin Nealon was a featured player in 86-87. So overall he lasted 9 seasons, 8 as a cast member. Tim Meadows was a featured player from 91-93. So he lasted 9 seasons, 7 as a castmember. Darrell's been a castmember all 11 years. Al Franken has also been a featured player on and off for a while. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't really think being billed as a "featured player" means you don't get to count that as a year you were in the cast, provided you appeared in every show.
  23. There's a chance that Raw might be better on USA if only because they might actually feel the need to put effort into the product again, now that they're out of excuses for failing.
  24. That's not really a valid analogy. A valid analogy would be if you sold a house knowing that it had major problems with it and did not disclose them (which IS illegal).
  25. Wait...a Wikipedia article...not cited by me???? I call gimmick infringment!
